before you can use the cheats you need to do the following:

Alter game files at your own risk and always make backups!Go to
"\Users\(your user name)\AppData\Roaming\runic games\torchlight\settings.txt"
and look for this line:

console: 0 Change it to: console: 1
CONSOLE NOPAUSE :0 change it to: CONSOLE NOPAUSE :1

and in the same directory look for the settings_editor.txt and change the following line:

CONSOLE NOPAUSE :0 change it to: CONSOLE NOPAUSE :1

Save and start the game. Now while in game you will have to hold Shift and hit
the ~ key to pull up the console. All cheats ARE NOT case sensitive.

ehmm i did like you said :S but i cant bring the console up nothing happens :S what shall
i dont ive canged both of them to 1 /console:0 > console:1\/console nopause:0 >
console nopause:!\
and i do press shift and the ~ key (^¨~) but nothing happens.....

Open first the application then close.. Go to application data. To the setting(notepad)
change console 0 to 1 then save.
