No, it is NOT a virus. It is an automated program which lets you catch any Pokemon you want to, except Legendary Pokemon. But now if you use it, then Shrimpy will ban you because it used to work in TPPC Version 6 only. But Shrimpy upgraded the version to 6.5, 7.0 and now to 7.5 which has some programs which act like spies and tell Shrimpy what all Pokemon you have, if you have just joined TPPC and then suddenly you have a 5000 level Pokemon and things like that. The Moderators are watching what each and every player using some special software like a virus, but NOT a virus that get installed n your computer every time you play TPPC. After you log out, it will get uninstalled automatically. It watches what all you do on TPPC.
