Dwarves / Gnomes
If you choose a Gnome or Dwarf, you will start your adventure in Dun Morogh. You will do
all the Coldridge Valley quests and your class quest to get you up to level 5-6. After
that your journey continues to Kharanos and other parts of Dun Morogh where you will level
to 11.
Coldridge Valley
Start by picking up Dwarven Outfitters (80 XP) from Sten Stoutarm (29, 71). Head South,
kill wolves and loot 8 Tough Wolf Meat. Hand in at Sten and Accept Coldridge Valley Mail
Delivery Pt 1 (190 XP) and your Class quest. Also take A New Threat (170 XP) from Balir
Frosthammer (29, 71).
Head South (29, 77) and kill 6 Burly Rockjaw Trog and Rockjaw Trogs, become level 3
(gratz) and go hand in at Balir. Run inside Anvilmar (28, 68), sell, complete class quest
and train skills and take A Refugees Quandary (250 XP) from Felix.
Follow the road west and hand in Coldridge Valley Mail Delivery Pt 1 (190 XP) at Talin
Keeneye (22, 71). Take Coldridge Valley Mail Delivery Pt 2 (270 XP) and Boar Hunter (250
XP) and start killing 12 boars behind Talin. After that, hand the quest in and move SW to
a troll camp (20,75) and pick up Felixs Box. Move to 2nd troll camp (22, 80) and loot
Felixs Chest.
Go NE and hand in Coldridge Valley Mail Delivery Pt 2 (270 XP) at Grelin Whitebeard (25,
75). Take The Troll Cave (360 XP) and head SE to the troll cave (26,79) where you should
kill 14 Frostmane Whelps and loot Felix Bucket of bolts.
Head back to Grelin to hand in The Troll Cave (360 XP, gz on level 5) and take The Stolen
Journal (550 XP). Head back into the cave and take the 1st turn left, head straight until
you find Griknir (30, 80), kill him and take the journal back to Grelin.
Take Senirs Observations pt 1 (340 XP) from him and Durnan's Scalding Mornbrew (230 XP)
from Nori who stands next to him. Use your Hearthstone (HS). Enter Anvilmar and sell,
train skills and hand in 2 quests.
Go back to nori and Bring Back the Mug (450 XP).
Go all the way NE past the start point until you come at the Coldridge Pass (33, 71),
where you can hand in Senirs Observations pt 1 (340 XP) and take Senirs Observation pt 2
(35 XP) and Supplies to Tannok (110 XP).
Follow the road into the cave and kill your way through, when you come out stay east of
the road and kill boars and bears. Save their meat for later. Make sure youre level 6 when
you 1st arrive in Kharanos (46, 53).
Kharanos
When you set foot in Kharanos for the first time you will be able to hand in Senirs
Observation pt 2 (35 XP). Accept Beer Basted Boar Ribs (625 XP) from Ragnar Thunderbrew
just outside the inn, and then go inside the inn and make Kharanos your home. Buy Rhapsody
malt from the innkeeper and learn first aid. Turn in Supplies to Tannok (110 XP) and go
outside.
Cross the road and pick up Tools for Steelgrill (110 XP), train your skills and then head
NE (keep gathering Bear meat and Boar ribs) to Steelgrills Depot (49,48) where you can
hand in Tools for Steelgrill (110 XP) and pick up Stocking Jetsteam (675 XP), The Grizzled
Den (625 XP) and Ammo for Rumbleshot (550 XP).
Head toward the SE of Kharanos where you will find more boars/bears and the Ammo for
Rumbleshot (550 XP) (43, 56).
Then go a little bit NE, you can already see the Wendigo cave. Gather 8 Wendigo Manes.
Head SW and cross the road while finishing up with the boar/bear meat/fur, if you havent
completed them before you reach Rumbleshot (40,65) where you can hand in Ammo for
Rumbleshot (550 XP) you should gather the last ones before you are back in Kharanos.
When you have gathered all the meat and furs you should be level 7 or close to it as well.
Now head to Kharanos and hand in Beer Basted Boar Ribs (625 XP) at Ragnar outside the inn.
Sell if needed.
Run on to Steelgrills Depot to hand in the 2 other quests and pick up Evershine (160 XP).
Head west and take Operation Recombobulation (850 XP) from Razzle (45, 49).
Head even more west and cross a frozen lake until you are in Brewnall Village (30, 45)
where you hand in Evershine (160 XP) and take The Perfect Stout (775 XP), A Favor for
Evershine (525 XP) and Bitter Rivals (140 XP).
Head NE, kill 8 Leopards, 8 Boars and 6 Bears while you run through the other quests. East
of the lake (38,42) you can move up the mountain where you can loot baskets and kill
trolls for 6 Shimmerweed, then jump of the ridge on eastside and run straight to Kharanos
where you must buy 1 Thunder Ale.
Go down in the Inn and give it to Jarven (47, 51). Switch the barrels while hes gone, you
get Return to Marleth (65 XP), go out the inn and take Frostmane Hold (600 XP).
Move back to Brewnall Village killing animals on the way and hand in Return to Marleth (65
XP) and The Perfect Stout (775 XP).
Pick up Shimmer Stout (420 XP) and head west to Gnomeregan (37, 28) where you must kill
gnomes and loot 8 Cog and 8 Gear.
When done go south from there to Frostmane Hold (25, 49), enter the cave and stick to the
right side of the wall until you see a platform, get close to it and your quest is
complete.
Go out and finish killing the last beasts for Favor for Evershine. Then go to Brewnall
Village and hand in the quest. Take Return to Bellowifz (875 XP) and HS to Kharanos.
You should be level 9 or close to it now. In Kharanos repair, sell, train, hand in
Frostmane Hold (600 XP) and take The Reports (420 XP). Then hand in Operation
Recombobulation (850 XP) at Razzle NW of Kharanos and Return to Bellowifz (875 XP) at
Steelgrills Depot to the east.
Ironforge
Head north to Ironforge (IF) (53, 34), 1st thing you should do is make IF your home, go to
the left as you enter and the 1st building is an inn. Then cross the bridge and go to
behind the bank where you hand in The Reports (420 XP). Go NE from that chamber and take
the Flight path (FP).
You should be around level 9, 5 by now and it is time to go to East Dun Morogh, so leave
IF again through the main gate and head east. As you follow the road SE you will come
across the Golf Bola Quarry (68, 55) where you take Those Blasted Troggs (600 XP) and The
Public Servant (650 XP).
Now go kill 6 Skull thumpers and 10 Bone snappers, when youre done hand them in up the
hill. You should be level 10 after handing in these quests. If not, kill some additional
Troggs.
HS to IF and do your class quest. You might have to go to Kharanos to see your trainer
depending on the class.
When youre done with your level 10 class quest head to the eastern part of Dun Morogh
again, cross the Quarry and follow the road south and walk through the South Gate Pass.
Give Mountaineer Barley (86, 48) the Shimmer Stout (420 XP) and accept Stout to Kadrell
(625 XP).
Take the tunnel southeast and youll end up in Loch Modan. Get In Defense of the Kings Land
(900 XP) from Cobbleflint (22, 73) and The Trogg Threat (900 XP) from Ruggelfuss inside
the bunker. Go north and take 1st entry to the right, kill the troggs, gather their teeth
and hand them in.
There is no need to pick up other quests in Loch Modan. Head north (follow road) to
Thelsamar to hand in Stout to Kadrell (625 XP) and grab the FP.
You should be around level 11 now and ready move to Westfall. HS to IF then run to Tinker
Town (east) and enter the Deeprun Tram that takes you straight to SW.
If you arent 11 yet you might want to do the Deeprun Rat Roundup (900 XP) given by Monty.
Use the flute on 5 rats.
Once you end up in SW get the FP and set your HS at the Inn (53, 63) and move to the south
gate at Stormwind (SW) and head west toward Westfall.
