In cavern catastrophe, after the big drill chases you up the tunnel there are some boxes with a couple of tnts either side. if you throw cortex past this point and activate the tnts while he's teleporting back, the bombs will kill cortex but you can still collect the wumpa fruit and you won't lose any lives
