Dynasty Warriors 4: Xtreme Legends Cheats

First pick a scenario you would like to do. After you have done this you
have to play as the character you picked the scenario for but if you
beat it once you can use any character for that scenario.
For example: You pick Lu Bu you have to be
Lu Bu but if you beat it with him you could play as Zhou yu or any one
else of your choice.

During gameplay push Select + Start together.

Shadow Harness is easy to get, first go to legend of Cao Cao in any difficulty, then go kill all the officer as fast as you can. And by the way, you need to kill Zhange Fei last. After you killed Zhange Fei, wait for Guan Yu to appear. Then let him escape. Wait for awhile. Then it will say in the screen that a valuable item has been found, then press start and go to history and look at where is the item is located.

Here's what to do:

1. Start a game on Expert difficulty.
2. Save mid-game.
3. Change the game difficulty to Novice.
4. Do not re-start the saved mid-game.
5. Start a new game.
6. Soft reset in-game (Select+Start).
7. Re-start the saved mid-game

This is a glitch that can come in handy. First, start a mission on expert difficulty. Next, save in the middle of a mission and then exit back to the title screen. Now, change the difficulty to novice. Do not load the save file with your current mission yet. Instead, start a new game, and then do a soft reset (press SELECT + START). Finally, load the save file with your current mission.

Now the game will still think your mission is on the expert difficulty, even though all the enemies will be set to the novice difficulty. This can make getting the 10th and 11th level weapons a lot easier.
