u don't kill it! u try and put it through the hole without the vallite in it. but to get it's attention u have to sonar to it! but u have to be quick!;-)

It is easier to lead him through the bottom hole. Linger near the rock formation and blast
him with sonar as he turns. As he approaches, turn and charge toward the hole. If he is
following closely, he will crash through the hole and get stuck. This is a difficult
procedure and will probably take a couple of tries. If he gets you into his jaw, you die.
Simple as that.

When the shark is trapped, he will open his mouth, exposing a Power of Vigor gift. Charge
into his jaws to claim it. This is the gift you will use to ultimately beat him. Swim to
the top of the rock formation to grab the Power of Vigor recharge.

The shark is thoroughly angry now, and won’t stop until he kills you. Keep your Vigour
stocked and charge at the big fish from the sides. Use the charge left and right,
hopefully nailing him at each pass. No matter what, keep moving. If you keep charging,
even if you nail the shark directly in the mouth, you will probably emerge from your
encounter intact. If the great white manages to get hold of you, you will die. It takes
about five to six direct hits to kill the shark.
