You can get free Potions in Timber. Get Rinoa or Quistis in the party, then go to the bridge where you saw the guards. Keep returning until a man appears. Talk to him, then talk to him a second time to receive a Potion. Leave the screen and return until he appears again and repeat. This is good for getting gil, or just to store up for a battle.

Hint: Level Up Quickly
There are two islands in the game called "the island closest to heaven" and "the island closest to hell". These two spots have the strongest monsters in the game.

"The island closest to heaven" is located just a bit east of the chocobo sanctuary and is shaped roughly like a box.

"The island closest to hell" is west of Deling City and is shaped like a bent cross.

These islands contain very powerful creatures, and killing them is guaranteed to raise your party a level with each battle. They may be too tough to take on if you're below level 60 or so.

Hint: Limit Break Trick
Here's a tip for getting "The End" for Selphie's limit break. When using her slots limit break, open your PlayStation lid. This will cause everything else to freeze while you can take your time to choose "The End" for the slots. When you're done, close the PlayStation lid to resume the action.

ok uh to beat Diablos after you obtian the magical lamp all you have to do is draw Demi from him then cast it it should take out 1/4 of his health so draw and cast demi on him and also he should cast cure on the person who uses demi on him so uh just use demi on him like 2 or 3 times and just attack him and he should die

when u get diablos all your troubles will be gone.to get him when your starting ur first seed mission cid gives an item called the magical lamp or sumtin.go into ur items and select it all of a sudden youll be fightin him if you beat him youll have him as a gf.when u first use him youll think his attack is crap but theres a secret that will make him really strong.all you have to do is use zombie on an enemy then use him at average he'll attack by around 150000!!! not messin!
