beat sin
if u want to beat sin get lv.3 magic and hav at least 30-50 magic then fight the fins from
far away and make sure u hav protect if u dont hav a lot of hit points, in the third stage
of the fight use aeons to defeat the sin spawn genias or something (cant really spell
it!!) then use armor break on the flower thing and attack like crazy, in the fourth stage
use zanmato (if u can) or use holy or ultima and make sure u use haste on that character
and u'll beat him.

to get anima:
First, you have to defeat Sin. Then you have to completely complete every temple (except
Bevelle, I think) including destruction spheres and treasures. If you look up "FFX Temple
guide" or "FFX *temple name* temple guide," or just any old walkthrough, you could easily
find how to do it.
As for defeating Sin (final/forth form, I'm asuming) I heard that you should buy a lot of
remedies and customize your armor with auto-med, but that seemed pointless to me because I
never needed it. I think I was a bit under leveled with most my characters, but Auron,
Wakka, and Tidus were my main hitters, and Tidus had Hastega and Quick Hit at the time.
What I did was have my main hitters out and have Tidus use hastega on them, then I
switched someone out for Yuna so I could cast protect on my main party/summon Bahamut and
use his overdrive (he can also attack from afar with Impulse, but don't keep him out).
Once he's used his overdrive, dismiss him and bring out Auron, Tidus, and your next
strongest hitter. Have Auron use Armor Break and have Tidus use Quick Hit as much as
possible. If anyone gets to overdrive, use it. For Auron you should use Banishing Blade
and for Tidus you should use Slice&Dice (because despite what people think it actually
deals more overall damage when fighting one enemy). just keep using that strategy until
Sin dies.
(Also, Wakka and Auron were hitting for 4000-5000 damage regularly for me, and Tidus was
at about 3000, just so you can gauge where I was at a little easier.)
Sorry for the wall of text, but I felt I should help because the other explanations were
so vague :)
