Walkthrough - Blitzball TutorialBlitz 101 (Tutorial) This is used in junction with In game Tutorial This is how to train your Final Fantasy X-2 Characters First the basics command points are received each 10 seconds away from the blitzball menu or earned threw wining games (every 2 game adds more to your command points max) These will help you scout new players and strengthen the stats of your team scout levels are from 1 to 5 (aka max) Each player has their own strength and weakness (TIP just because a player is very low in states at first scout doesn't make him a bad pick also: some will be very high in stats but not grow anymore whatsoever) Trading is done by getting trading privileges (an prize normally in 2 place) that will allow you to trade with the standard teams. There are times when you can trade with teams that are unplayable during the season. To do this you must win the right to play the teams For example The Zanerkand Abes you must win first place in a tournament that has the right to play the Zanerkand Abes as a prize NEXT you must beat the Zanerkand Abes NOW you must win Trading privileges in a tournament (This will only allow you one trade) then pick the player you wish EXAMPLE The Abe's Ace with the player from your team you no longer want or need EXAMPLE Wedge (sorry this time he is bad...) -End you have gotten the best shooter in the game- Scout -Team lv --- lv 1 - (1)0wins 2 - (5)8wins 3- (10)18wins 4- (20)38wins max(30)58wins Stat Raising: See the number that is floating near each changeable stat? that is the current energy the player has to do a task. To change it select and use command points around 9 to show all of them Now find all the biorhythms until they are all blue numbers use only these numbers to level up your players find out the perfect stats to level him/her do not use more than you need because with too much more than this number they will be exhausted to little and they will be under worked. Training a infielder takes some work start leveling up the passing level it up all the way (You normally give it around 7-12 points each level) when the level stop increasing after 2-6 Trys w/points This would have made another level go down go to that one EXAMPLE endurance Do the same as the last stats Blocking Throwing arm Sand bagging Goaltending Until you get to passing where you started Eventualy going around almost again you should have max stats except for shooting and receiving Shooting and receiving Max out the shooting first Now careful not to undo the shooting stats to much level up the receiving stats The only thing left is to add teamwork stats to 100 to all and that is a perfect infielder The goalie only needs his catch to level up but you can always go a step further to survive right? just follow the steps before but use catch as a starting point. There are also special items to help you level up stats. Formations A formation is considered like this back-middle-front recommended play styles 4-2-1 strong defense (default) Center attack Long feed 3-2-2 Center attack Short pass 2-4-1 Right side Left side 3-3-1 Right side Left side Long feed 3-1-3 Post play 2-2-3 post play 4-1-2 Short pass The best of the scout Recommended Free agents until level 4 you wont get any keepers level 1 Shuu and Ropp level 2 Mep Level 3 Shaami Level 4 (Kwinn) Tatts Level max (Lucil and Yuyui) Don't let there starting stats fool you Lucil is a good middle forward Yuyui is a great middle fielder Tradeing players You can also change the make-up of other teams as well as yours (this is useful when you are too powerful for a challenge or if you can't beat a certain team) Trading privileges is needed Trade for the player you want to change teams then trade to another that you want him in and as long as you don't release them (just give them to a team) they will stay in that team Edit The stats you have given the Traded player will stay You can either max him out or lower everything except catch Intensive training It is a camp that doubles your max (whatever) Max is toped off at 99 or 255 exp. 20 endurance to 40 there are 5 other commands that you can win Besaid waterfall training and Kilika stair training BWT gives you overhead volley (training camp) Edit Sz is right the big bight star is OV KST gives you corkscrew shot (training camp) Edit right it is the small brown star THKs Adrenaline meeter at 0 stars your team works at about 30% of their strength all the way to 120% All recommendations are made with the fact that your players can handle the task. Team data Al Bhed Psyhes 2-2-3 Post play Tip These guys take advantage of the fact that they have 3 players that know overhead volley. Blappa is the key player to there strategy I recommend If stats allow 4-1-2 short pass Luca Goers 3-3-1 right side Tip Bickson will be the shooter find a way to stop him. Bickson is the key player I recommend 2-2-3 post play Ronso Fangs 4-1-2 Short Pass Tip formation wise it is tough to get 7 points without good players and a all out attack method Basik Ronso is the key player I recommend 3-1-3 post play Guado Glories 3-1-3 long feed Tip High blocking is good but the right configuration can beat them in your first blitzball game. the team is the key player one out of sync and they fall Kilika Beasts 4-2-1 center attack Tip default Nizarut is the key player Besaid Aurochs short pass 3-2-2 Tip these guys want a prolonged game. In a defencive stance you may not win. Start the game at full strength and try for 2 more goals than them then switch to a defencive stance. The defenders are the key players Recommended 2-2-3 post play then to a 4-2-1 center attack Zanarkand Abes 2-2-3 post play These guys are the best Blitzball has to offer. Their Stats are more than any team... with that said They are a pushover as a team. The Al Bhed Psyches are more difficult if they had stats as high as them. Abe's Ace is the key player Recomended 4-1-2 short pass. Gullwings default 4-2-1 center attack Paine Rikku and Yuna are the only good characters in the original Team You can scout Yuyoi and Lucil The only people on other team worth recruitment is Abe's Ace, Suzam and Blappa adrenaline meeter advanced at Zero stars no one will gain fatigue or injured (unless you have fatigue already) 2 stars is the recommended level to keep them in a difficult time with the opponent If you are to raise it higher go all the way. If you get an injured player do not stop until you are guaranteed to win Injureys happen when a play gets hit while they has the ball Tip Make sure the strategy fits the type of stats This is from the form and is a more in depth look at blitz ball then the one I saw in the faq Feel free to use anything in the doc This is only for use in the neoseekers faq all rights reserved. |
