[Magic Gunner] Name : Magic Gunner Romaji : majûshi Icon : Gun on Red Background Story : Story Level 1 Found : Head to the Moonflow. To the right of your landing point is a short man who asks you to look for his caravan along the road leading to the river. Head down, and you'll see the blue guy there. Stay with him, and drive away all the bandits, and you'll get the Magic Gunner Dressphere once you clear the mission. Found : Completely skip the Moonflow on Story Level 1 (do not go to it at all). After Yuna's Dance in Story Level 2, go to the Moonflow and help to sell tickets and you will be able to get it. You can also gain a powerful accessory called "Kyûso neko kami" by pushing the red Penguin-like (fast moving) guy into the elevator. When you have less that half of your HP, the accessory causes all attack/healing to do 9999 HP. When combined with Quick Hit, this becomes extremely powerful. Even if you cancel the Moonflow on Story Level 1 you will not be able to get the "Kyûso neko kami". Note : "Kyûso neko kami" means something like: "A cornered mouse will bite the cat", meaning even the smallest creatures will fight back if they have no other option. 2i. [Dark Knight] Name : Dark Knight Romaji : dâku naito Icon : Skull Story : Story Level 2 (?) Found : This can be found in the mission (Under Bevelle) where you are looking for the Vegnagun. *sorry if this wasn't clear before* Found in a treasure chest standing on its own right before the fight with Baralai. To activate blocks to get there, the key is in the triple lifters a little before (two on either side, a purple one in the center). If the left lifter is up, the right is down, the purple one will go to a different location, and vice versa. Each of these locations has this standing block which then activates the blocks to rise to the path to the chest containing the Dressphere. 2j. [Gambler] Name : Gambler Romaji : gyanburâ Icon : Dice Story : Story Level 3 Found : Go to Luca during Story Level 3. Challenge one of the players in the area you're in to Sphere Break then defeat Shinra in the Sphere Break final. 2k. [Item Shooter] Name : Item Shooter Romaji : aitemu shûtâ Icon : Story : Story Level 2 Found : Find Clasko at Mushroom Rock Road. Talk to him and complete the mission. You will then be able to find him near the save point. Let Clasko on the airship and you will unlock a mission in the Calm Lands for Story Level 2. Defeat the boss and you will get the Sphere. 2l. [Berserker] Name : Berserker Romaji : bâsâkâ Icon : Claw Story : Story Level 5 Found : Complete the "SOS Mission" in Macalania (Tour Company). 2m. [Samurai] Name : Samurai Romaji : samurai Icon : Samurai Helmet Story : Story Level 3 Found : Located in the room where you defeat 2 demons to disable the flames in Kilika Temple. 2n. [Mascot] Name : Mascot Romaji : kîgurumîshi Icon : Story : Story Level 5 Found : Get "Episode Complete" in all of the Active Link missions in Story Level 5 to unlock this Dressphere on the Airship. Thanks incredibly, guanyi! 2o. [Flora Fleur] Name : Flora Fleur Romaji : furora fururu Icon : Purple Flower Unique : Yuna Story : Story Level 2 Found : You must be in Story Level 2, now travel to Guadosalam. Talk to the Guards at front of the House [Where Seymour was in FFX], and then you will notice that you cannot get past these Guards without having a disguise. Now travel through Guadosalam to Djose Temple [Ride ze Shoopuf and go through where you can see a deserted area with some Al Bhed's.]. You can try to get the guidelines for Rikku's Machina Muzzle with this path, but go down the long deserted path where you can see an Al Bhed and Guards next to some Machina. Then you should see a red sphere on the path, pick it up and you'll get "Flora Fleur". But you'll have to fight Uno and Sano who will give you Rikku's Disguise at the end. Note : See "Frequently Asked Questions" for how to activate the Special Dresspheres. 2p. [Machina Muzzle] Name : Machina Muzzle Romaji : makina mazuru Icon : Unique : Rikku Story : Story Level 2 Found : Found in the "Oasis Investigation" mission. Note : See "Frequently Asked Questions" for how to activate the Special Dresspheres. 2q. [Zankio] Name : Zankio Romaji : zankiô Icon : Unique : Paine Story : Story Level 1+ Found : Talk to Tromell Guado in Macalania Forest 5 times. He is in the same place as the first Jecht Sphere from FFX. Note : See "Frequently Asked Questions" for how to activate the Special Dresspheres. 3. Section 3 - [FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS] Q. If I miss a Dressphere in Story Level 1, can I get it in Story Level 2? A. I'm not sure. Apparently, you CAN go back to locations to get Dresspheres if you miss them, other than one specific linked-story one (the Magic Gunner). If you do miss one, you can get it again by playing through on New Game +. Q. What's New Game +? New Game + allows you to restart the game with all of your collected Items, abilities, Dresspheres and Story % once you finish the game once. Q. In Mi'ihen Highroad, how do you catch the Chocobo for that girl? The Chocobo seems to run off whenever I approach it. A. You'll need help from a certain someone who drives a certain popular vehicle... hopefully that's enough of a big hint. A2. Just grab the feather and when the time shows up stop grabbing and run forward and chase the Chocobo. When Rikku tells you to go that way, say NO! Q. How do I use my Special Dressphere's once I've collected them? A. Activate all of the Dresspheres in battle then press L1 and there should be an "R1 Special Dress-up" option. Press R1 then move to any Dressphere (they've all become the Special Dressphere). N. There's a special Result Plate with only 2 slots on it making activating the Special Dresspheres a lot easier. The disadvantage is that you don't get any bonuses. Q. What about the Dancer/Pop-star Job? A. Dancer and Pop-star are both mistranslations of [utahime], or Singer. Q. Isn't Mascot just a mistranslation of Singer? A. No, Mascot [kîgurumîshi] is a seperate job. At first, Mascot was believed to be a mistranslation of [utahime], or Singer. This was proven to be false a while ago. --- EOF --- |
