you dumb f****r,getting past ickarus is the easiest part of the game.just keep hitting him
until the mini game starts.complete the mini game and its done.

i have the same problem and yes its a glitch, i heard if you have a older PS2 then it may
not play or you may have an older GOW2 game and if so its a double layer disc and it
sticks when switching over to the second layer which is why Icarus dissapears... i have
not passed it yet, he keeps dissapearing before the cut scene comes up. sorry i can't
help, still trying to figure it out myself.
