Introduction % %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ III. Unique Jump Directions @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ $@#$@#$@#$@#$@#$@#$@#$@#$@#$@#$ 1. City/Area: Portland Island $@#$@#$@#$@#$@#$@#$@#$@#$@#$@#$ (Note: You will want start these directions from the Portland Island Safehouse and save your game while your there if you need to. I recommend using a PCJ or a Sanchez for these jumps. If you see the Camera angle change while doing these jumps that means you did the jump correctly but it won't always mean that you made the Unique Jump. You will always want to be sure to push the left analog stick forward slightly when you approach any jump to go faster even if I don't actually mention it in the directions and hopefully you will get the distance you need to get the Unique Jump. The distance measurement (m to m) that is given at the end of each set of directions is not the distance you have to jump but it is more just to let you know roughly the distance you need to get for that particular Unique Jump. The first number is the shortest jump we made to get that Unique Jump and the second number is one of are farther jumps we made to still get the Unique Jump.) Unique Jump #01 =============== A. Drive out onto the street from the Safehouse and turn left (West) onto this street. B. Turn right (North) at the end of this street up ahead. C. Follow this street straight until it starts to curve to the left (West) and follow it as it curves to the left (West). D. Turn right (North) at the first street you can (just pass the people on strike (if you are still near the beginning of the game) and you should see a boat to your right (East) here with some planks leaning against it. E. Follow this street as it curves to the left (West) and follow it straight until you get to the water's edge (I preferred using the whole street but you can also just back up from the planks and go towards it from a shorter distance to also make this unique jump). F. Make a U-turn and speed towards those planks to jump over the water just on the other side of the boat. G. If done correctly you should jump about 41 m to 50 m (with the camera angle changing in midair to let you know you did it right) and you should land on the walkway just to the right of the wooden dock you see here or on the grass just pass that walkway to make the 1st Unique Jump. Unique Jump #02 =============== A. Drive back onto the street going west (back towards the people on strike) and just before you reach that entrance of the ferry station drive onto the walkway just to the left of the entrance. B. Drive along the dirt road you see just to your left and to your right you should see a grassy hill with a few bushes on it. C. You will need to use this grassy hill to jump over the fence of the ferry station and try to jump through the gap between the two large billboards here just beyond the fence to land at the parking lot just behind those billboards (to make a far enough jump you will need to slightly tilt the left analog stick forward as you approach the grassy hill to make your character tilt his head down and this will make the motorcycle go faster). D. If done correctly you should jump about 60 m to 75 m and make this 2nd Unique Jump. Unique Jump #03 =============== A. Drive out to the street from this parking lot to your right (East) and turn right (South) onto this street. B. Turn left (East) onto the street up ahead to exit this Ferry station area. C. Follow this street as it curves around to the right (South) and just before you reach the bridge at the end of this curve drive down the grassy hill to your right to reach the street that bridge goes over. D. Turn right (West) onto this street and follow this street as it curves to the left (South). E. At the end of the curve this street will end and then you need to turn right (West) onto this street. F. After you make the turn go up the grassy hill to your right and you will see a small wooden fence at the top of this hill. G. Follow this small wooden fence to your left (West) until it ends and when it ends drive down to the dirt trail/path to your right (North). H. Turn right onto this dirt path and you should see a ramp like grassy hill in front of you. I. You will need to use that grassy hill to jump over the tram tracks and just like the last jump you will need to tilt the left analog stick forward slightly while approaching that grassy hill. J. If done correctly you should jump about 40 m to 65 m and land on the grassy area just on the other side of the tram tracks to get the 3rd Unique Jump (try to jump over the portion of tram tracks closest to the grassy hill to make this jump easier). Unique Jump #04 =============== A. Depending on where you land drive straight up that steep slope to your right (Northeast) to hop over the fence at the top of it and drive onto the street you were on earlier in front of you (Northeast). B. Turn right (Southeast) onto this street and follow it as it curves to the right (South). C. Follow this street straight until it ends and then at the end of it turn left (East). D. Follow this street straight up the steep hill up ahead and take notice just pass the curve in the road at the top of this steep hill a police bribe is floating in the air just to the right of a grassy hill. E. Follow the street as it curves to the left (North) and make a U-turn when you get to the 3rd or fourth street light on your right after the curve. F. Drive fast (pushing the left analog stick slightly forward to go faster) towards the grassy hill that police bribe is floating near and use it to make a far jump down to the parking lot near the Northwest corner of the shipping yard building. G. If done correctly you should jump about 85 m to 109 m and land either on or just pass the big rig trailers you see parked here to get the 4th Unique Jump. Unique Jump #05 =============== A. Drive East along the Northside of the building you land near and go around the corner of the building to your right (South). B. Go around the corner of the half constructed warehouse to your left (East) and look to your left inside of the very next half constructed warehouse to see a wooden ramp. C. Face this ramp and back up the motorcycle as far as you can. D. When you can't go any farther quickly speed towards the ramp (pushing the left analog stick forward slightly to go faster) and you will need to use the Northwest corner of this ramp to jump over the water/ocean onto the beach in the distance. E. If done correctly you should jump about 50 m to 61 m and land safely on the beach to make the 5th Unique Jump. Unique Jump #06 =============== A. Now drive along the South along the west side of the building you landed near for number 4. B. Go around the corner of the building up ahead to your left (East) and go straight towards the crane you see near the water's edge up ahead. C. Just before you reach the crane go to your right (South) and you should see a ferry directly ahead of you in the water which you will be getting on in a moment. D. As you are driving towards that ferry look to your right (West) and you should see a staircase here on the South side of the building here. E. Drive all the way up the staircase to the roof of this building and then drive fast (tilting the analog stick forward like normal to go faster) towards the ramp you see at the Northwest corner of this rooftop. F. If done correctly you should jump about 45 m to 58 m and you should land either in the middle of the street or just on the other side of the street. Unique Jump #07 =============== A. Now drive onto the Ferry Southeast of that building you were just on and drive fast towards the ramp (tilting the left analog stick forward to go faster) at the back of the Ferry. B. If done correctly you should jump about 48 m to 55 m and you should land on the grassy area just before the street up ahead. Unique Jump #08 =============== A. Drive to the center of the intersection you see near you and drive along the street that goes to the Northwest. B. Turn right (Northeast) at the first street you can and just before you reach the curve in the street up ahead you should see a wooden ramp to your right (Southeast) that you need to use for the next Unique Jump. C. You may want to block off the traffic for your approach to this ramp and once you are ready face the ramp and back up as far as you can. D. Go fast towards it same as usual (tilting left analog stick forward) and use the ramp to hop over the building it is near. E. If done correctly you should jump about 48 m to 52 m and land on the highest portion of the rooftop that is close to the street at the other side of this building or just pass the street on the other side of this building to get the 8th Unique Jump. Unique Jump #09 =============== A. Drive onto the street you are near and drive Northeast onto it. B. Follow this street as it curves to the left (Northwest) and go up the small hill on this street after the curve in the street. C. After you reach the top of the small hill look to your left as you go down this street and you should see a clearing among the trees here with a police bribe floating just above a ramp in the distance. D. Drive fast towards that Police Bribe and use that ramp to jump over the front parking lot of the police station. E. If done correctly you should jump about 50 m to 55 m and land on the street in front of the Police Station or Hospital to get the 9th Unique Jump. Unique Jump #10 =============== A. Drive onto the street you were on before you did that last jump and follow it back to the Southeast onto it. B. Go straight through the intersection you come to and continue to follow this street as it curves to the right (West). C. Turn left (South) at the first street you can and then turn right (West) at the intersection up ahead. D. Turn right (North) into the first opening in the wall to your right and as you enter look to your left to see a small grassy hill just in front of the large donut sign of the "Rusty Browns Ring Donuts" shop. E. Drive fast towards that grassy hill and jump through the center of the donut sign. F. If done correctly you should jump about 50 m to 63m and land on the parking lot of the donut shop to get the 10th Unique Jump. Unique Jump #11 =============== (Note: Before even attempting this I recommend returning to the safehouse and parking the motorcycle in the garage before saving your game. This is just incase if you lose the motorcycle for this jump or die you can just reload the game to have your motorcycle again (unless you have a few in the garage already). You can also just get a new motorcycle from Salvatore's Mansion so it is up to you. You will probably have problems with this jump because you don't get a good camera angle of where you are going until you are halfway there which means by then you will be able to tell if you will fall to your death or make the jump.) A. Drive out onto the street in front of this donut shop and turn left (East) onto this street. B. Turn right onto the dirt road you see to your right and instead of following the street to your right go straight up the grassy hill in front of you (just to the right of the tree you see in front of you here). C. As you get to the top of this grassy hill you should see a white walkway to your right with a dirt mound a bit farther along this walkway with cones surrounding it. D. Drive over to that dirt mound and look to the West/Northwest and you should see just across the gap of water a dock with a road just to the right (North) of it. E. You need to use this dirt mound to jump and land on that road just to the right (North) of the dock. (Note: I recommend going down the white walkway to the East and making your approach from the Eastern end of this walkway. Try to drive straight up the center of the dirt mound and while your approach tilt the stick forward to build up speed before you reach the mound. Good luck on this one because you will probably need to redo this one quite a few times before you get it just right.) F. If you do this correctly you should jump about 61 m to 73 m and land on the road just to the right (North) of the dock. Unique Jump #12 =============== A. Follow this road you landed on as it curves to the right (North) and go through the tunnel you come to. B. As you come out on the other side of this tunnel you should see a grassy hill directly in front of you with a ramp at the top of the grassy hill. C. You will want to back up as far as you can and then tilt the stick forward while approaching that ramp at the top of the grassy hill to go faster. D. You will need to use that ramp to jump over the monorail tracks and land on the grassy just on the other side of the tracks. E. If you do this correctly you should jump about 66 m to 81 m and land on the grass near a tree just on the other side of the tracks. Unique Jump #13 =============== A. Head back to your Safehouse after you have completed the mission "Blow Up Dolls" to save your game if you need to and then use the directions below if you don't know where the building is at or skip down to step E if you know where the building is at. (Note: If you don't remember where this building is follow the directions below.) C. Drive out onto the street from the Safehouse and turn left (West) onto this street. D. Turn left at the end of this street and as you go up this hill you should see the destroyed remains of "The Dolls House" to your right. (Note: This jump will probably take you a few tries because traffic doesn't always cooperate.) E. Look at the Northwest corner of this destroyed building and you should see a white portion of wall on a dirt pile. F. Face your motorcycle at that portion of wall and then back up as far as you can (which would be clear across the street from this building) before using that portion of wall as a ramp to jump towards the construction site across the street to the Northwest (be sure to tilt the analog stick forward slightly to get enough speed to make the jump). G. If done correctly you should jump about 50 m to 55 m and land on the building under construction to get the 13th Unique Jump. H. Now continue through the missions until you finish the mission "Driving Mr Leone" to reach the Staunton Island Safehouse and save your game here if you want before starting the next set of directions. #%%%%%%%%%% 2. City/Area: Staunton Island #%%%%%%%%%% Unique Jump #14 --------------- A. Drive onto the street to the North of the Safehouse and drive East along this street. B. Turn left (North) at the second street you can and go straight until you see the street curve to the left (Southwest). C. Just before you reach the street light at that curve on your right (East) you should see a grassy ramp to the right of the trees here. D. Drive back South along this street you are on until your a good distance away from the grassy ramp and then approach it fast by tilting the stick forward slightly. E. If done correctly you should jump about 60 m to 81 m and land on the grass just before you reach the street to get the 14th Unique Jump. Unique Jump #15 --------------- A. Drive North along the street you landed near and follow this street as it curves to the left (West). B. Go through the first intersection you come to and continue to follow this street West. C. Follow this street as it curves to the left (Southwest) and about halfway through this curve (near the second street light from the beginning of the curve) you should see a grassy dirt road to your right. D. Follow this dirt road around to the Northeast towards a small grassy hill with a rock ramp at the top of it. E. You will need to go back a good distance away from this rock ramp and then use a fast approach towards it by tilting the analog stick slightly forward. (Note: I recommend Not trying to put on the brakes here when you land or you will more then likely slide into the water or your motorcycle will. Just try to turn away from the water's edge and then use the brakes. You could also just jump off the motorcycle just after you land to avoid going with the motorcycle into the water.) F. If done correctly you should jump about 55 m to 61 m and land on the grassy hill near the walkway that goes along the water's edge (watch out for this landing as you may lose your motorcycle here or worse falling in the water with your motorcycle) to get the 15th Unique Jump. Unique Jump #16 --------------- (Note: This next jump is another jump that the traffic doesn't always cooperate with.) A. Drive up the grassy hill to get onto the street you were on and turn left (East) onto this street. B. Turn right (South) at the first intersection you come to (the one you went through earlier) and turn right (West) at the end of this street. C. Turn left (South) at the first street you can and then turn right (West) at the end of this street. D. You should see a Heavy Weapons Billboard directly in front of you. E. Drive towards that billboard and just before you reach it turn to your right (North) onto the sidewalk in front of the billboard. F. You should see some wooden planks here to your left (West) leaning against the wall here. G. Drive a good distance away from those planks and then make a fast approach towards the center of those planks to use it as a ramp. H. If done correctly you should jump about 61 m to 79 m and land on the lower road that goes along the water's edge to get the 16th Unique Jump. Unique Jump #17 --------------- A. Make a U-turn on the street you landed on from the previous jump and head South along this street. B. Follow this street South until it goes up a hill and just before you reach the intersection at the top of this hill you should see to your right (just to the right of the intersection) a grassy ramp. C. Drive back down the hill a good distance away and then make a fast approach (not too fast though) towards that grassy ramp. (Note: This jump is similar to #15 because you may lose your motorcycle here in the same way. Just try to turn away from the edge of the water that you might be going towards as you are landing or jump off the motorcycle just after you land.) D. If done correctly you should jump about 74 m to 86 m and land on the area at the bottom of the path/road leading down to the dock here or just to the left of the dock depending on where you went off the ramp at to get the 17th Unique Jump. Unique Jump #18 --------------- A. Drive up the road/path you landed near to get up to the street and then turn right (South/Southeast) onto this street. B. Follow this street as it curves to the left (East) and then follow it straight through the three traffic lights you come to. C. After you go through the third traffic light stop just before you reach the fourth street light you see on your right (the one almost next to the third traffic light counts as one of those four). D. If you stopped at the correct place you should see the star stone monument to your left and be near a street light. E. Look to your right (Southeast) from here and you should see the outline of a ramp in the distance just pass the trees here. F. Drive over to that mound of dirt (ramp) and face towards it. G. Back up as far as you can without going over the cliff and then make a fast approach towards that mound of dirt. H. If done correctly you should jump about 54 m to 70 m and land inside the parking lot area of the "The Big Shot" Casino to get the 18th Unique Jump. Unique Jump #19 --------------- A. Drive out onto the street in front of the "The Big Shot" Casino and turn left (South) onto it. B. Follow this street as it curves around until you are going North on this street. C. When you start going North on this street you should see a R* (Rockstar) billboard to your right (East). D. When you see this billboard drive to the North on the grass behind this billboard and drive down the grassy hill just pass the small pillar you see up ahead. E. You should now be on a walkway with some shipping crates to your left. F. Look directly behind you (L2 + R2 or just turn around) and you should see that grassy hill you just came down a second ago. G. You will need to use that grassy hill as the final ramp for Staunton Island to jump over the top of the billboards and land on the street in front of those billboards. H. Do the same as all the other jumps back up or drive a good distance away from that grassy hill and then make a fast approach towards that grassy hill. I. You will want to be sure when you hit the grassy hill at just the right angle to let you hop over the billboards and land on the street in front of them (if you don't clear the billboards you will fail the jump even if you jump far). J. If done correctly you should jump about 60 m to 67 m and land on the street in front of the R* (Rockstar) billboard or just South of it to get the 19th Unique Jump. K. Continue through the missions now until you reach your Shoreside Vale Safehouse and save your game here if you need to before following the next set of directions. _/(_/(_/(_/(_/(_/(_/(_/(_/(_/( 3. City/Area: Shoreside Vale _/(_/(_/(_/(_/(_/(_/(_/(_/(_/( Unique Jump #20 --------------- A. Drive out onto the street in front of the Safehouse (to the North of it) and turn right (East) onto this street. B. Turn right (South) when you reach the end of this street and follow this street as it curves to the right (Southwest). C. Turn left (South) at the first street you can and follow this winding street until it ends at the bottom of the hill. D. Turn right (West) when the street ends and follow this street as it curves to the right (Northwest). (Note: Depending on the time of day the sun might make it hard to see here.) E. Go straight and just before the street curves again to the right (North) you should see a large pile of gravel in the shape of a ramp just to the left of a pile of wood/planks. F. You will now need to do like you have been with previous jumps and back up a good distance away from that gravel mound before approaching it fast to use it as a ramp. H. If done correctly you should jump about 66 m to 70 m and land on the street or sidewalk under the very large bridge to get the 20th Unique Jump (if you don't land under the bridge you will probably fail the jump and have to redo it). Unique Jump #21 --------------- A. Make your way back up to that winding street you came down to do the previous jump and go all the way to the top of that winding street. B. Turn left (West) when you reach the top of the winding street and then follow this street as it goes over the bridge you landed under with the previous jump. C. Turn left (Southeast) at the intersection you see up ahead and then turn right (West) at the second street you come to. D. Turn right (North) into the first opening in the wall you see to your right. E. As you enter this opening look to your right just pass the two piles of planks/wood and you should see a light colored bunch of planks leaning against the wall here to use as your next ramp. F. Like normal get a good distance away from that ramp and make a fast approach towards it to launch yourself over the wall it is leaning against. G. If done correctly you should jump about 48 m to 78 m and land on the grassy area just behind the "KC" billboard you jump over to get the 21st Unique Jump (just to warn you depending on how you land or how far you jump you may lose your motorcycle not to mention get a 60+ m Face Plant distance). Unique Jump #22 --------------- A. Drive to your right (Southeast) onto the street you land near or on from the previous jump and turn right (West) at the end of this street. B. Go straight through the intersection up ahead and turn left (Southeast) at the end of the street up ahead. C. Turn right at the end of this street and then turn right (North) into the opening in the short wall you see to your right. D. As you enter this opening look to your right and you should see a gray big rig trailer with three planks leaning up against some pallets in the distance as your next ramp. E. You will need to make a fast approach towards that ramp and jump over the street just pass that ramp. F. If done correctly you should jump about 79 m to 87 m and land on the South side of the building near the guard booth you see at this side of the building to get the 22nd Unique Jump. Unique Jump #23 --------------- A. Drive across the street that is in front of you when you land from the previous jump and enter the opening directly in front of you. B. Go pass the shipping containers to your left and then drive up the staircase you see to your left. C. Drive all the way up to the rooftop of this building and then make a fast approach towards the ramp at the Northwest corner of this rooftop (I recommend using the right side of this ramp to hopefully avoid slamming into the building you will be jumping towards). D. If done correctly you should jump about 56 m to 63 m and land in front of the garages of the building at the opposite corner of the intersection that you are jumping over. Unique Jump #24 --------------- A. Face away from the garages you just landed near and use the planks you see to your right to drop down to the intersection you just jumped over. B. Drive to the center of this intersection and drive down the street to the East. C. Go pass that traffic light you see up ahead and just before this street curves to the right (South) you should see the ramp-like cliff up ahead just pass the broken portion of guard rail you see at the curve of this street for your next jump. D. Go away from that ramp-like cliff a good distance and then make a fast approach towards it. E. If done correctly you should jump about 101 m to 115 m and land on the street or on the sidewalk just pass the street on the other side of the river here (If you land near the sidewalk on the other side of the street you may want to jump off the motorcycle or you will end up going with your motorcycle into the water up ahead). Unique Jump #25 --------------- (Note: If you want to get back across the river faster you could use the unique jump cliff from GTAIII to get back across but for direction purposes I will use the longer way back across the river.) A. Make your way up to that winding street you used earlier and go all the way to the top of that winding street. B. Turn left (West) when you reach the top of the winding street and then follow this street as it goes over the bridge. C. Go through the intersection you see up ahead and then follow this street as it curves to the left (Southeast) at the top of the hill. D. Turn right (West) at the first street/intersection you can after the curve and then turn right (North) at the end of this street. E. Turn right (East) into the opening in the wall you see to your right. F. As you enter this opening you have two things you need to notice here. G. First to the left in the distance you will see a red garage door open and second to your right you will see along the West side of this building here a black roof panel leaning against the wall here. H. Don't worry about the open red garage yet and instead make a fast approach towards that black roof panel to jump towards the police station across the street (try to use the right (West) side of the black panel to jump and avoid slamming into the Police Station building). I. If done correctly you should jump about 49 m to 60 m and land on the roof of the Police Station or ending up in front of the hospital to get the 25th Unique Jump (if you do hit the top floor of the Police Station building you will still more then likely get the Unique Jump). Unique Jump #26 --------------- (Note: I figured I'd save this one for last even though it is not the longest jump but it is the highest drop from a jump.) A. Make your way to that opened red garage door I mentioned earlier and just inside of that garage you will see some planks leaning against a window. B. Get a good distance away from those planks and then make a fast approach towards them. C. If done correctly you should jump about 84 m to 118 m and land on the grassy area at the bottom of this cliff to get the 26th/Final Unique Jump. Congratulations, You have now done all the Unique Jumps and you are now $10,000 richer for doing them all. ========================================================================= Only sites allowed to use this at this time (in no particular order): IGN.com Neoseeker.com Gamefaqs.com Cheathappens.com Cheatplanet.com spiderx.servegame.com GTAGaming.com Supercheats.com Sorry if we missed listing you, but as long as you are not listed below and you got our go ahead to post you are fine.
