Carl "CJ" Johnson ================= Returned to San Andreas after spending five years in Liberty City. He is back for his mum's funeral, but is framed for homicide by two corrupt cops on his arrival. Carl decides to stay in San Andreas and help his gang get their respect back. Voiced by: Chris Bellard (a.k.a. Young Malay) Sean "Sweet" Johnson ==================== CJ's brother and runs the Orange Grove Families. He blames CJ for the tragic death of their younger brother, Brian. Sweet wants to get drugs off the street, and stop the wars between the gangs. Voiced by: Faizon Love Lance "Ryder" Wilson ==================== Ryder has recently got involved with Tenpenny and Pulaski, the two corrupt cops that frame CJ for homicide on his return to San Andreas. He is a Syndicate member and is sometimes involved in certain drug transactions that take place around San Fierro. Voiced by: MC Eiht Melvin "Big Smoke" Harris ========================= Also involved with Tenpenny and Pulaski. He loves food, and has recently moved away from OGF territory and purchased a house in Ballas territory in Idlewood with some money he says he inherited from his dead aunt. Voiced by: Clifton Powell Kendl Johnson ============= CJ and Sweet's sister. Sweet is not happy about Kendl going out with Cesar, a lowrider from the Southside. Voiced by: Yo Yo Jeffrey "OG Loc" Cross ====================== A terrible rapper recently released from prison. He thinks he is great at rapping and believes he is "gangster". He asks CJ to steal Madd Dogg's lyrics book to advance his own career. Voiced by: Jonathan Anderson Cesar Vialpando =============== A lowrider from the Southside who is dating CJ and Sweet's sister, Kendl. He helps CJ by offering him opportunities in illegal street races. Voiced by: Clifton Collins Jr. Frank Tenpenny ============== One of the two corrupt cops that frames CJ for homicide on his arrival back in San Andreas. He works alongside Eddie Pulaski. He forces Big Smoke to sell out the OGF and uses CJ to take care of important witnesses who can give evidence against him. Voiced by: Samuel L. Jackson Eddie Pulaski ============= The second of the two corrupt cops that frame CJ for homicide. You are forced to kill Pulaski after he tries to kill you. Voiced by: Chris Penn Officer Hernandez ================= Forced into a corrupt life by Tenpenny and Pulaski, Officer Hernandez follows alongside Tenpenny and Pulaski and is eventually killed by Pulaski in the desert. Voiced by: Armando Riesco Madd Dogg ========= Madd Dogg is a recording artist who lives alone in his mansion in Vinewood; Los Santos. He doesn't go out much, and is sent to rehab after his drinking problems spiral out of control and he almost commits suicide. Voiced by: Ice T Catalina ======== Catalina was originally in GTA III. She lives in a cabin in Fern Ridge and eventually moved to Liberty City with the GTA III guy. Voiced by: Cynthia Farrell Wu Zi Mu (a.k.a. Woozie) ======================== Wu Zi Mu is a blind Triad leader who owns a betting shop in Chinatown. You first meet him during the mission "Wu Zi Mu" in the Badlands. He helps you track down the Syndicate members in San Fierro. Voiced by: James Yaegashi Zero ==== Zero owns the RC Shop in Garcia and knows a lot about miniature toy planes and electronics. He is in the middle of a war with the Forelli and Sindacco families. He sends CJ on a trip back to Liberty City to kill the head of the Forelli family. Recently, the Temple Drive Families and Seville Boulevard Families went their separate ways and left the Grove. Gang: Temple Drive Families Colour: Green Gang Leader: Sean "Sweet" Johnson Territory: Ganton, Playa del Seville Weapons: Pistol, SMG Description: The Temple Drive Families are constantly fighting the Seville Boulevard Families. Although both gangs are from Grove Street, they still don't see eye to eye. They recently went their seperate ways with the Seville Boulevard Families and left the Grove. Gang: Seville Boulevard Families Colour: Green Gang Leader: Sean "Sweet" Johnson Territory: Ganton, Playa del Seville Weapons: Pistol, SMG Description: The Temple Drive Families are constantly fighting the Seville Boulevard Families. Territory: Idlewood, Jefferson, Glen Park Weapons: Pistol, Micro-SMG Description: The Ballas are your sworn enemy throughout most of the game. Once you leave Los Santos, the Ballas will be stronger if you return before the storyline reaches a certain part. They are responsible for the drugs on the streets and the drugs have ruined most of Grove Street. Gang: Los Santos Vagos Colour: Yellow Gang Leader: Big Poppa Territory: Las Colinas, East Beach Weapons: Pistol, Tec-9 Description: The Los Santos Vagos teamed up with the Ballas and took over most of Los Santos. Once you leave Los Santos, the Vagos will be stronger if you return before the storyline reaches a certain part. They are responsible for the drugs on the streets and the drugs have ruined most of Grove Street. Gang: Varrios Los Aztecas Colour: Cyan Gang Leader: Cesar Vialpando Territory: El Corona Weapons: Pistol, Tec-9 Description: CJ and Sweet's sister Kendl is dating the gang leader of the Az- tecas (thanks to Crash_test200 for correcting this), Cesar Vialpando. Cesar joins up with CJ and has to move out of Los Santos with Kendl after Ballas and Vagos take over his neighbourhood. Even though you are friends with Cesar, the Aztecas will still shoot you if they see you. Gang: San Fierro Rifa Colour: Blue Gang Leader: Unknown Territory: Garcia, Doherty Weapons: Pistol Description: Not a lot is known about this gang. They are known not to mix with the Vagos but CJ and Smoke spot them making a deal at a train station. They are often seen hanging around CJ's garage in Doherty, but are not very dangerous. Gang: Da Nang Boys Colour: Brown Gang Leader: The Snakehead Territory: Easter Basin, Downtown Weapons: Pistol, Micro-SMG Description: The Da Nang Boys have recently moved to San Fierro on board a tanker with The Snakehead. The tanker holds a container full of immigrants on board and a large amount of heroin. They are enemies of the Triads. Gang: Triads Colour: Red Gang Leader: Wu Zi Mu Territory: Chinatown Weapons: AK-47 Description: The Triads are run by Wu Zi Mu. Woozie becomes a good friend of yours over the course of the game and gives you useful information on the Loco Syndicate. Because you are good friends with Woozie, the Triads won't bother you during the game. Gang: Mafia Colour: Grey Gang Leader: Johnny Sindacco Territory: Las Venturas |
