This would be my third guide, and just a random FAQ HELPZORZ!!??! e-mail will be promptly deleted. Just a few quick notes though: Proper grammar, while not an absolute must is requested. I like to understand what gets written to me. OH, before I forget, if you decide to send me an e-mail about my over use of the apostrophe, please be sure you have proper knowledge of the use of both curse words and the Exclamation point. Thank you. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WARNING: I have tried to avoid spoilers wherever possible, but this guide is being written under the assumption that you are playing along while reading this guide, so there is a chance that the games story may be spoiled for you. A quick note: To those who are coming here after reading my first guide, I am working on completing the main story missions on this one first before doing another update on Vol. 1. Also, I have decided to take out certain sections of this guide until that first one is finished, so if you're looking for Ryu book item lists and such, it won't be found here until it's 100% complete in the first one. Now you know. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version History Ver. 0.25 May 19'th, 2007 - Started Walkthrough - Started Table of Contents - Worked on a summary for Volume One - Completed Walkthrough up until Haseo's Job Extension - Changed "to do list" to "Coming Soon" - Got addicted to Crimson Vs. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Table of Contents 1) Volume One Summary 2) Controls 3) Walkthrough 4) Coming Soon 5) Credits -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vol. 1 Summary. Alrighty then, so you decided to skip the first volume and start with numero two? Well, you're completely missing out on a great experience. For those who want to be spoiled, read on. (please note, this is only info taken from the game. There is a really good chance that it will not completely coincide with what happens in the anime, so for further research check out .hack//ROOTS or actually play the first game) You start off getting PK'ed in the online game, The World. A man with a gun arm saves you, and from then on (or after a 6 month fast forward) you become Haseo, Terror of Death, most feared of all Player Killer Killers (and no, that is NOT a typo). After slaughtering a group of PK'ers, Haseo is then found in a certain trademark .Hack cathedral getting Data Drained all the way back to Lv. 1. Over the course of the game, Haseo falls into a guild called Canard which is hell bent on destroying The World!! Actually they're around to help save the n00bs from getting hax00red, screwed, and generally bullied. They seem to think that you are one of said newbs, and vow to help you out. After bumping into several other characters, Haseo learns of something called G.U., which is a project studying the behavioral patterns of an entity dubbed AIDA. It seems that Haseo is one of a few users of The World known as Epitaph users, gifted players that can summon beings called Avatars to obliterate anything in their paths. Which brings us to tonights fangirlish delight: Endrance. He is a user that abuses the privelage of having an Avatar. Fighting in the Arena (a place designed with PK'ing in mind), this Endrance guy is using his Avatar so he doesn't ever have to lose. Haseo, being the standup guy that he is, decides to enter in the arena and utterly humilate Endrance. During this time, he figures out how to summon his own Avatar, Skeith, who was ironically enough dubbed the Terror of Death in the first of the .Hack games. Using his Avatar in the same unfair way that Endrance did, Haseo rises through the Demon Palace tournament ranks, and finds himself face to face with his mortal foe. After a grueling battle between Skeith and Endrance's Avatar Macha, Haseo leaves the Arena victorious. Meanwhile, Piros the 3'rd uses his hot passion to locate the whereabouts of Tri-Edge, and after gathering the troops, Haseo confronts him, defeats him, and ... Credits. Don't send me e-mails telling me how much I left out of the story, I did it on purpose. Come on people, I know this isn't a spoiler free guide, but I'm not going to be completely blatant about it. On to the regular sections of a guide then. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Controls In Town: D-pad and Left Analog stick - Movement Triangle - Opens up menu X - Talks to NPC's, confirm menu options Square - Ride Steam Bike (when recieved) Circle - Cancel menu item L1 - Reset Camera Right Analogt stick - Move Camera In Battle: D-pad and Left Analog stick - Movement Triangle - Opens menu x - Attack (keep pressing for combo's) x (held) Powerful attack Circle - Guard Square - Awakening attack (when gauge is filled) R1 - Skill Trigger -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Walkthrough Finally, on to Volume 2, the game that I personally have been waiting for since about a week after the first one was released... since that's just about when I beat it the first time. Now, if you've followed my advice, you would have played Rebirth before playing this. This guide is written under the assumption that you did in fact play the first game. Choose New Game, and it will ask you if you wish to continue using your character from the first game. If you answer yes (and for christ sakes, why shouldn't you?), then you will get these wonderful items: 3 Strange Coffee 3 Fairy Rain 10 Fairy Drop 3 Healing Storm 10 Healing Potion You will also get 5000 GP, and a movie. Now, enjoy the 1 hours worth of cutscenes and opening credits. After all the cutscenes and such, you'll find out that you can't logout, and neither can anyone else right now. Once you finally get control of Haseo, go around and talk to people. Look at your map (push Select if you don't remember from the first game...) and go to each of the blue circles. When you're done talking to everyone in the town, head back to the Mercenary District. There's nobody to talk to here, so head to Canard's @HOME and talk to Gaspard. You'll get a short mail from Yata saying there is a disturbance in the Central district of Mac Anu, so head there... right now! What are you still reading this for? After a cutscene showing just how panicky even the administration is getting, you'll get yet another short mail from Yata, so head back to Raven's @HOME. Just going to the Mercenary District will trigger a scene with Atoli and some random player. After Sakaki and Haseo show up, and Haseo says something stupid about Moon Tree, Again, head over to Yata. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Open Mouth: Insert Foot. Turns out that we really DO need Moon Trees help. After getting all the particulars from the cutscene, head over to: (Delta) Setting Eternity's Night Moon ... and don't forget to bring Pi... because it's Soooo Goooood! After being warned to be on your bestest of best behaviors, head through the wooden doors in front of you, then warp to the throne room. After finding out that Sakaki already knows about G.U., the rest of Moon Tree decides to help with the investigation. When they all leave, Pi gets new orders from Yata saying that there seems to be an AIDA area. Grab Kuhn and head over to the new area. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Delta) Galloping Subtle Desert (Rainy Canyon, Lv. 43) Area word from Yata. Use it to investigate AIDA From the get-go you get ambushed by a bunch of Kestral PK'ers. No signs of AIDA, but hey you get a free level up! The goal of this area is to PK just about every single Kestral goon that gets in your way. As large and complicated as this map looks, it's actually quite linear. Just follow the path that is given to you until you get to a warp pad, use your chim spheres to activate it, and make sure to attack every Kestral PK group that you see along the way. Don't forget to grab all of the treasure chests as well. Selling stuff is the most basic structure of all of Capitalism. After the second warp and across a bridge, there is an AIDA. If you've played the first game, it's the same AIDA that you fought the first time around. When you defeat it, you'll get a strange item called a Data Seed. After the battle, one of the Moon Tree members sends you a short mail, telling you to meet him at the Beast Statue ASAP, and since we were heading there anyways, continue doing what you were doing before, like killing Kestral people. Isn't video game killing fun? When you get to the Beast Statue, a cutscene will play, showing Haseo in his Angsty Teenage Angstyness. Watch, laugh, and grab the treasure chest. Mecha Grunty: None Lucky Animal: None Beast Statue: None Enemies: (15) Kestral PK Items: Sub Garment Healing Serum Rough Alloy Loose Sheath Demon Garment (Beast Statue) Total Treasures: 4 Total Breakable Items 0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alright, so Yata seems to be hiding something. Head over to Raven's @HOME to trigger another cutscene. Now that Yata's been cornered, he's decided to run that program that was mentioned in the last scene. Head over to the place where you defeated Tri-Edge now. (Delta) Hidden Forbidden Bulwark (Special Area) Lost Ground: Morrigu Barrow Wall. Area word given by Piros the 3rd. When you arrive, a brief memo about how to use Gate Hacking appears. I know it's not "called" gate hacking in this game, but that's pretty much exactly what it is. Go up to Tri-Edge's mark, but you won't have enough Virus Cores... oh alright, they're Data Seeds, but close enough. Anyways, Master Yata sends Pi a short mail with another area Keyword, so lets head over there now. (Delta) According Floating Eradication (2 floor Waterfall Cave, Lv. 43) Area word from Yata. Obtain data seeds. Well, this is... not different at all. I've seen so many of these types of levels, I almost don't ever want to see a real Waterfall anymore! If you've got a Fairy's Orb handy, then use it now. See that Staircase with the Arrow pointing down? That's where you're supposed to go. If you don't have a Fairy's Orb, or don't want to waste an item when you could just browse the directions in an FAQ, then after the various walls o' text will be the directions that correspond to each individual floor. When you're close to the first staircase down, you'll fight an AIDA. Defeat this one the same as you did before, it's really not overly difficult. There's another one on the second floor, not too far away from the Beast Statue. After defeating it, Pi says you've got enough Data Seeds to hack Tri-Edge's sign, so hurry through the level and grab the Beast Statue before heading out. 1'st Floor: While following the path, ignore all intersections, turn only when it's needed. Then, go down the stairs to the second floor. 2'nd Floor: After the stairs, head South to the bottom, then head West. After the Warp Point, follow the path to the Beast Statue. Mecha Grunty: Lucky Animal: Beast Statue: Second Floor, Curse Sun Enemies: (16) Carrianne Goblin Knight Items: Health Drink The Death Healing Rain Healing Serum Total Treasures: 1 Total Breakable Items: 14 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Delta) Hidden Forbidden Bulwark (Special Area) I typed up the description half a page ago :P Alright, so you've got enough Data Seeds, time to hack that Sign. Go up to it and Examine it with the X button. You'll trigger a cutscene, and a battle with one of AIDA's minions. This one is called a Gate Keeper. This guy is pretty much like Anna, except he can take more hits, shoots out more slashable spikes, and will almost always hit (me) with the attack that you're supposed to Evade. regardless, although it will take a little bit longer to defeat, he is nothing like the Avatar's from the previous game, and he shouldn't pose much of a problem for you at this stage of the game. You'll get an H Data Seed, another Avatar to fight in the Serpent of Lore, and an item called 0-van01. After a slew of cutscenes showing Tri-Edge, 2 other nameless dudes, and the players that were stuck in Mac Anu among other places, you'll finally be able to log out. Pat yourself on the back, and dedicate a little bit of time to reading all of the e-mails and forum stuffs. I'll list some of the more important stuff. Any campaigns, regardless if you've finished them or not, are now closed. There are new changes to how you do attacks. Your party members can now kick Chim Chims and Lucky Animals. Crimson VS, the card game, is now available. The items that I mentioned before have now either been added to your inventory or, if that's full, to your storage space. Atoli wants to talk to you in front of the fountain in the Alchemy district. All old e-mails have been archived, but still viewable of you push the triangle button. There are several News Posts, including an Online Jack video. A new Lost Ground location is on the Rumors board. 15 new backgrounds available in the Apkallu board. After doing all you wish to do outside The World, choose login and hope you don't get trapped back inside it. Remember, Atoli wanted to talk to you at the fountain in the Alchemy District, so head over there now using the warp outside the Chaos Gate. After a cutscene that just goes to further prove that Haseo must listen to too much My Chemical Romance, (and lets face it, you hear them once and it's too much), logout and check you're e-mails again. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before you go to Raven's @HOME, check out your own first. You should get a slew of greeting cards, background images and musics, and movies. At least, that's what happened to me since I played Volume 1. If you didn't, then your loss. Once you get rewarded for what I like to call... Overkill, speak with Yata. After a lengthy cutscene, a weird deep-voiced chess piece will speak with Yata, and you'll get a short mail from Silabus telling you to go to Canards @HOME, so head over there now. After deciding that they really don't need to know any thing that HE knows, Haseo lies and you get new e-mails. Logout and check them now. Ovan wants to help. I don't know why, but I don't trust him. Anyways, he wants to talk to you at the Hulle Granz Cathedral, so head over to that area when you're done admiring your new musics and such. (Delta) Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground (Special Area) Another cutscene. What's with all the cutscenes in this game? If I wanted to watch a game, I'd play FF XII, or Xenosaga, or Metal Gear... or better yet, Actually WATCH A MOVIE! err... sorry, just watch the scene. Ovan has some interesting info about the Epitaph's and AIDA, then he walks away in his usual mysterious way. When the scene is over, you're notified that you have new e-mails, so log back out, again, and check your mail. Congrats. Since you defeated Emperor Endrance in the previous game, you now have access to the Dol Dona Intermediate Guild House. Speaking of Dol Dana, you can now access that town as well, making for some new levels! Hopefully. Now is as good a time as any to check it out. Well, maybe you should get some new area words first. Simply head over to the The World forums on your desktop and you'll see a new post. They contain new keywords for you to use in the new server. Now, head over to said Server with Silabus and Gaspard. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dol Dona is a pretty simple town compared to Mac Anu, especially since it's just one long path instead of a bunch of branching corridors. Head straight to the top to get to the @HOME. Prepare your inner self, as you WILL be mocked by that stupid son of a monkey's pig fetish, Death Grunty. Being able to handle the insults does have a reward: now, not only can you alchemize your weapons, you can also alchemize your armor AND accessories. You can also perform tune-ups in the shops Bike Factory, and a free greeting card too. When you're done basking in your free gifts, head over to the Quest Shop. Silabus and Gaspard have already added themselves to your party, so no need to worry about their well-being and such. There is only 1 Quest to take part in right now, the Steam Scientist's Test. It's the same idea as in Volume 1, except now there are two machines to fight instead of one. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There's a storm on the horizon. (Theta) Airy Engine's Waltz (Sunny Field, Lv. 47) Area word given by Dr. Kepel for the Steam Professor's Experiment When you first enter the area, you can see #Rain and #Cloud, but you can't reach them. If you bring up your map, you'll see that they are on the center island of the map, and that there are 3 hills surrounding them. It shouldn't be too difficult to reach the first 2 hills, just make sure to tread carefully to get to the 3'rd one without attracting the two monsters' attention. When you've placed all 3 items, head over to #Rain and #Cloud. With the 3 items in place, these guys should be a piece of cake. They've only got roughly a thousand HP's a piece, and it drops really quickly if you're at Level 50 or above. Not much strategy really, they're more like regular enemies and not much of a boss fight. The trick to this is, after you defeat them, they combine and create #Rain Cloud. Again, not overly difficult but it would be a smart idea to use a Beast Awakening on this guy, if only so that he doesn't attack you while he soaks up your attacks like a sponge. You'll get a total of 5000 GP for defeating both bosses, as well as #Rain Cloud's Memory, which you lose as soon as you give it to the NPC. Mecha Grunty: North of the Second Hill, Southern most island. Lucky Animal: Ganesha, near a group of enemies near the Eastern most edge of the map. Beast Statue: None Enemies: (13) Black Raptor Fate Crab #Rain #Cloud #Rain Cloud Items: Health Drink Healing Serum Knight Blood Broad Wings The Hanged Man Simple Glasses Loose Sheath Astrologer Soul Total Treasures: 3 Total Breakable Items: 3 After the quest, you get a Text of Stamina, and Dr. Kepel will tell you to go to Mac Anu harbor to re-do the Mecha Grunty fetc... I mean, Sidequest. You'll also get to see a cutscene with everyone's favorite Male Chick: Alkaid. As per usual, since Haseo is a dude, everything is all his fault. Don't worry, I don't get it either. Regardless, after the scene you'll have new e-mails so check them out. Firstly, Silabus will make reference to Bike missions, and how you can now tune your bike to be better than it already is. Next, CC Corp is reminding you that the "Fetch the Stray Mecha Grunty" event is up and running, and if you want to start it go to Dr. Kepel's pad in Mac Anu Harbor. Lastly, and most importantly, it seems that some AIDA signals were present in the Holy Palace, so it's time to search for Alkaid. It's not much of a search though, since as soon as you pop up in Dol Dona, she's right there at the Chaos Gate waiting for ya. She gives you a new set of keywords, but you also have a few of your own to be doing. Add her and someone else to your party (Silabus, Gaspard, and Piros are all online), then head over to Mac Anu. Why Mac Anu? Because at this point, you're probably overflowing with useless items. Remember Gaspard and the Guild Shop? If not, here's the details: You can sell useless crap for mucho monies, and since you're bound to get plenty of stuff that you're never going to use (or just become progressively worse than the other stuff you find over the course of the game), Gaspard can help make you filthy rich! Granted, if you're continuing from Volume 1 you've already done this many times and are probably richer than most, but still, more money is NEVER a problem in a Capitalist Society. When you've built yourself a small fortune, head over to the keywords below. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Theta) Blazing Multiple Buttercup (Cloudy Field, Lv. 52) Area word posted on the forum by Renji. Acquire Cloudy Steel from this area. A relatively simple area: You start out at the bottom of a 4 section field, you go North as far as you can go, then head East to fight the boss. Since it's the beginning of a new game (ah who am I kidding, I suggest this anyways) it's imperative that you FIGHT EVERYTHING ON THE WAY! I know I nagged a lot about this in the first guide, but it's not like it doesn't hold true now as well. The boss is an enemy called Dryas. Settle down pervoids, there's only one "S" there. My strategy for this guy is pretty simple: Save your beast awakening. In Volume two, they seem to last longer than in Volume one, especially if you wait until the meter fills completely. One Beast Awakening should finish the guy off if you're on or around level 50. You'll get a Cloudy Steel for defeating him. Mecha Grunty: Last Island, right next to the boss Lucky Animal: Tsutsuga, near the bridge exiting the first section. Beast Statue: None Enemies: (7) Death Kettle Tick Mask Dryas (boss) Items: Warrior Soul Wrath Luer Simple Light Balm Simple Clogs Loose Leather Simple Shoulders Armadillo Shell Cow Stomach Rough Steel Esthesio Soda (Mecha Grunty) Simple Wind Bell (Boss Drop) Cloudy Steel (Mission Reward) Total Treasures: 3 Total Breakable Items: 6 Now there IS another area, but since you shouldn't be anywhere NEAR level 61 at this point... unless you've been doing a lot of levels outside the guide, the head over to where Alkaid wanted you to go. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Theta) Severe Unclean Gray Dance (2 Floor Waterfall Cave, Lv. 51) Area word from Alkaid. She has something important to talk about... Warping here triggers a cutscene with Alkaid being silent. Head West until you get to an area with 2 Warp Points. If you're just following the path to get to the end of the level (why do I even bother advocating levling up in an RPG these days?), then at least take the northern path to grab the treasure chest along the way. If you take the Southern warp, you'll fight a ton of Gaze Knight's, hell bent on destroying you and your party, and they would probably succeed too... if they weren't so weak at this point. Haseo was Level 52 when starting this level, and with Piros and Alkaid around, piece of cake. If taking the Southern path, if you ignore the first intersection that would lead you North and instead keep going forward, you'll hit a dead end with a mushroom. It also appears as a dead end on your map if you used a Fairy's Orb at the beginning of the level. If you decide to speed your way through this, take the Northern path, and keep heading West at all the intersections. You'll still have to fight a couple of Gaze Knights, but they aren't overly difficult, even though this is still quite early in the game. When you get to the second floor, just head East. Both junctions lead to the same place eventually, so keep heading East to get to the Beast Statue as quicly as possible. When you get close to the Beast Statue, a cutscene will be shown. You remember those guys you saw guarding Tri-Edge's coffin? Seems they're having a negative effect on Sirius' sanity. He's gone completely schizo and Alkaid is pretty worried. Alkaid asks for your assistance, then retracts it. At least she apologizes for being so rude to you before. Grab the Beast Statue and head back to town. Mecha Grunty: None Lucky Animal: None Beast Statue: Divine Ribs Enemies: (23) Gaze Knight Death Kettle Tick Mask Items: Mantis Nail Wrath Yantie Solution Soda Simple Water Balm Armadillo Shell Rough Steel Simple Glasses Divine Ribs (Beast Statue) Total Treasures: 3 Total Breakable Items: 3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When you gate back in, Haseo agree's to helping Alkaid win the Holy Palace tournament. In order for you to join in the new Tournament rankings, you must step down as Emperor of the Demon Palace. Say yes when you're prompted, and you'll be registered to climb the ranks of the Holy Palace tournament. Alkaid gets all shy-ish, then she runs away saying she'll never forgive you if you don't let her join you sometimes. When the scenes are done, Log out so you can check your e-mail. You'll get one from Silabus asking if you've tried Crimson Vs. yet. The other is from CC Corp about the Holy Palace Tournament. Log back in and head over to the Arena Counter. After a cutscene with Pi telling you that the situation is getting worse (doesn't it always get worse before it gets better?), run to the counter and register for the tournament. When you do, Atoli shows up. After a cutscene in which she apologizes for only thinking of herself (kinda funny when she's apologizing to someone who is ALSO following selfish motives) After agreeing to add her to your team with Alkaid, she leaves, and you can check your e-mails now. Alkaid wants you to go on a quest with her, and if you've been sending out those greeting cards regularly you'll get more responses now. There are also news posts to check out, some deck strategies for Crimson VS, and 6 new background images in the Apkallu forums. Time to head back into The World. Log back in and head over to Dol Dona. Add Alkaid into your party, and normally I'd suggest Atoli but she's offline right now, so go with whoever else you feel comfortable killing cute little animals with. When you have your party ready, head over to the Quest shop and accept the "The Cat Smiles Silently" quest. After a brief cutscene with Dr. Pao, the Lucky Animal quest guy from Volume one, head over to the area keywords with a Red Checkmark on them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Theta) Standing Calming Western (Cloudy Field, Lv. 50) Area word given by Dr. Pao for the The Cat Smiles Silently quest. The level starts with you getting smacked in the face by the Malice Cat, which halves your HP and your SP. Your goal is to find it somewhere in this area and kick it, just like any of the other (Un)Lucky Animals in The World. Push the Select button. The island that is furthest East has a raised area on it, and that is where the White Malice Cat is. Rush over there as fast as possible, since all the enemies here are pretty weak. You've gotta kick the cat 3 times before the level ends. Shouldn't be hard, since most of the time he'll dash straight into you. The level will finish once he's been kicked 3 times. Mecha Grunty: None (?) Lucky Animal: Malice Cat Beast Statue: None Enemies: (10) Fate Crab Gaze Knight Items: Wrath Yantie Simple Earth Balm Mantis Nail Simple Wing Cap Warrior Soul Loose Leather Knight Chain Knight Blood Total Treasures: 4 Total Breakable Items: 3 When the level is over, a short cutscene with Dr. Pao will be shown, and you'll get an e-mail from CC Corp saying the Lucky Animal Campaign has been restarted for ya. Speaking of e-mails, Atoli sent you one saying maybe you should tell Canard that you're ditching them for the Arena for awhile, and there are a few area keywords in the forums. Log back in and head over to Canards @HOME, and don't forget to add Atoli to your party. When that's finished, there will be yet another e-mail, this time from CC corp telling you to head to the Arena Counter, your first Arena match is about to begin. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alrighty, your first match is against a team of level 50's. Here is the strategy that I always use for the arena: Go for the leader. It's simple, it's quick, it's to the point. Beat the snot out of HIROSAWA, and only use your Skill Trigger when he's about too, so you can get a rengeki counter attack through. Once you hit your Demon Awakening, he should be just about dead, but use it anyways just in case. If you want, you can also use the games advice and go after kenta, the healer of the team. This shouldn't be too difficult, but don't let your guard down. After a few cutscenes, you'll be rewarded with 200 WP, an Astrid Specimen, an Armadillo Shell, and an Armadillo Crest. Now, check your e-mails. You're now eligable for the Job Extension, the one that will give you the Flick Reaper weapons (FINALLY!!!). Silabus and Gaspard want to join you on this one. There is also a respondable question in the forums. I put Area Keywords as my response, but I don't think it matters too much. If you check your Crimson VS. stats, then come back, the area keywords will be there. Now, log back in, watch the cutscene with Antares, then add Silabus and Gaspard to your party. Head over to the quest shop and accept the Seeker of Karma quest. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Theta) Burning Fallen Seven Sins (3 Floor Waterfall Cave, Lv. 54) Area word from Ogma for the Job Extension event: Seeker of Karma If you use a Fairy's Orb, you'll see a path that leads to a Warp Point. Essentialy, each path you get warped to is just another straight path to the next warp point, and just before you reach those warp points, you'll be asked a question about The World's history. For the first question, choose #3. The second question is #1, and the Third is #2 The next set of questions is as follows: #1, then #2, then #2 again. At the second floor, the first room has 2 war points. The one closest North will lead to the warp point to get to the 3'rd floor. The other one leads to a few monster battles and 2 mushrooms. The next set of answers is: #2, then #3, then #2. The third floor has a cutscene, and Haseo decided to do the rest of the level alone. When the path branches, heading North only leads to more mushrooms. Heading South will lead to the Beast Statue and a cutscene. After the scene, head back to the room where you left Gaspard and Silabus, and they'll re join you. When you get close to the Beast Statue, yet another cutscene will be played, and then you'll be through with this level. Mecha Grunty: None Lucky Animal: None Beast Statue: Karma's Symbol Enemies: Death Kettle Goblin Sage Steam Goblin Items: Sprite Drop Armadillo Shell Rough Steel Fire Crest Fire Storm Healing Serum Speed Talisman Healing Potion The Hanged Man The Hermit Total Treasures: Total Breakable Items: Now that the Job Extension quest is over, marvel at the never ending power of THE SCYTHE!!!!... alright I'm sorry, I've been looking forward to this weapon since watching the opening cutscenes of Volume 1. Now, logout and be sure to grab the 5 new pics from Apkallu. You'll also get an area keyword from Atoli to help your group level up a bit before the next tournament match. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And that's all for now. More will be added in the next few days, I'm hoping to get the guide itself done by the end of May at the latest, so I can go back and 100% complete Volume 1 and make THIS guide even longer. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Coming Soon (to a theatre near you!) - Item Lists and locations - Quest's and their Campaigns - Crimson VS. Card list and Strategy's - A finished version of .Hack G.U.
