1.) The first shield is obtained after collecting the egg, but its going to be
harder than just grabing it out of the bathtub.
Take the cauldron and smash it into the broken wall until it breaks and
head into the new area.
From the bathtub area break the steam pipes on the right side, be careful
and don't touch the water shooting out right after this. Now fall down and
then head up towards the top of the screen and climb up the platform there
then climb up the two platforms to your left right after it. Pull down the
bridge and climb up and move the water out of your way. Now head back down
the three platforms you've climbed up and head to the upper path that is
now available to you. Pull down the bridge in this next area and climb up
into the new area. Move the two water faucets in this area then drop the
cauldron down right behind it onto the pipes to destroy them. Now you can
exit this area where you came in on the bridge and down and back around.
Now fall down where you climbed up before and this time go down the right
path, watch out for the things that are shooting out water then head up
where the two fish statues are and go right head all the way down and into
the next area. Head to the left side and follow it until you come to a
bridge, use carpe retractum to pull it down then follow the path until
you come to an area with salemanders. Now you can either fight them or
just head to the bridge at the top of this area and pull it down, after
you do this head across and fall down to the lower area. Head all the
way until you come to an area with more salemanders, after you fight
them just walk over to the edge and it will get pushed back into the
bathroom. Head all the way back the way you just came and right before
the door will be a bunch of erklings, either kill them or just run past
them and into the bathroom to collect the shield and open up the rest of
the level.
2.) Obtained by collecting all 10 mini-shields.
* Mini-shield Locations *
a.) Break the steamer with the cauldron in the middle of the first area you
come to after leaving the bathtub area.
b.) After coming from the bathtub area pull down the drawbridge at the top
and fling the cauldron at the steamers at the other side of the area.
c.) From the bathtub area break the steam pipes on the right side, be careful
and don't touch the water shooting out right after this. Now fall down and
then head up towards the top of the screen and climb up the platform there
then climb up the two platforms to your left right after it. Use the
cauldron to blow up the steamer in the middle and use accio to get the
shield.
d.) From the bathtub area break the steam pipes on the right side, be careful
and don't touch the water shooting out right after this. Now fall down and
then head up towards the top of the screen and climb up the platform there
then climb up the two platforms to your left right after it. Pull down the
bridge and climb up and move the water out of your way. Now head back down
the three platforms you've climbed up and head to the upper path that is
now available to you. Pull down the bridge in this next area and climb up
into the new area. Blow up the steamer in this area to get the next shield.
e.) From the bathtub area break the steam pipes on the right side, be careful
and don't touch the water shooting out right after this. Now fall down and
then head up towards the top of the screen and climb up the platform there
then climb up the two platforms to your left right after it. Pull down the
bridge and climb up and move the water out of your way. Now head back down
the three platforms you've climbed up and head to the upper path that is
now available to you. Pull down the bridge in this next area and climb up
into the new area. Move the two water faucets in this area then drop the
cauldron down right behind it onto the pipes to destroy them. Now you can
exit this area where you came in on the bridge and down and back around.
Now fall down where you climbed up before and this time go down the right
path, watch out for the things that are shooting out water then head up
where the two fish statues are and go right, climb up the path right in
front of you and walk over to the cauldron. Now this one is kindof hard
to get you need to hit the steam that is down where you just came up to
the right and at the top of the screen. After a couple of tries you
will get it then just jump down head down the stairs and grab the shield.
f.) The same as above just break the steamer at the bottom of the screen
instead, it is pretty hard to hit.
g.) From the checkpoint head left down and use carpe retractum on the bridge
head to where the cauldron is and use it on the steamer to get the mini-
shield.
h.) From the checkpoint head right and up the stairs, now pull the bridge down
with carpe retractum and head into the area where there are fires. There
are two statues ram either one of them with the cauldron to get the shield.
i.) Ram the cauldron into the other statue to get the next shield.
j.) From the checkpoin head right and there are stairs heading down right
before the lake. Head down them and into the open area at the bottom and
the shield will just be sitting there in the open.
3.) The third shield can be obtained after you have collected the egg to get the
first shield. From the checkpoint head right and across the bridge, follow
it all the way down and up the stairs, kill the erklings here then pull
down the bridge and continue to the next area, at the left side is a set
of stairs down. You need to pull the bridge you come to and the pull the
next one right after it and the shield will be in front of you.
4.) From the checkpoint head right and drop the cauldron you run into onto the
pipes below you. Now head back and go down where they just were and fall
into the big open area, move the box up onto the platform and past the
pipes you blew up. Put it up against the wall that is there and climb it
to obtain the next shield.
5.) From the checkpoint head right and you will see a lake, you will see a bud
sticking out of the water, ignore this one and go until you find another
one. Use herbivicous on this and remember the spot. Now head to where the
stairs are on your right and head up them and pull down the bridge. After
you head up the next set of stairs immediately on your left will be a
faucet move this out of the way then head all the way back to where you
casted herbivicous. Once on the middle platform head to the right set
of buds and go across, head up the stairs in this area and move the water
in the new area towards the bottom. Head all the way back to the middle
platform then cast herbivicous on the buds to the left. Head to the left
side of this area to collect the next shield.
6.) From the checkpoint head left and pull down the bridge. In the area with
the salemanders kill them then pull down all the bridges on the other side
of the area you're at. Pull down the bridge then fall down to where you
just pulled down the bridges, watch out for the water shooting out. Run
Across then you'll come to an area with three buds, cast herbivicous on
them to get the shield.
7.) From the checkpoint head right and cast herbivicous on the first bud, go
to the little platform then head to the left bud, after you cast
herbivicous, kill the vampyrs go up the stairs and move the waters. Now
head all the way back two where you casted herbivicous on the first bud
and head all the way right to the stairs. Kill the erklings then pull down
the bridge and head up the next set of stairs. Head to the left side of
this area and down both sets of stairs and head all the way down this
platform to get the next shield.
8.) Head all the way back to the bathtub room you started in. Drop a
cauldron on the floor of the tub to get the last shield.
