If you've played fps games or any other shooting game, the controls will be very similar.
To save you time from reading all of this, then go to the first level, Death Of A Showman,
and press the Select button which is the small, soft rectangle next to the Start button
which is in the middle of the controller. Go to the end of this post and you will see some
other controls that you can do. IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER and are having troubles opening the
briefcase to get the sniper, just press the Select button on your controller or scroll
down to SNIPER RIFLES in this post which is in all-caps.
Right Trigger 1 is the fire button.
Right Trigger 2 reloads your gun ammo, Triangle lets you drop your weapon.
Left Trigger lets you crouch but you need to hold it down.
Opening doors,dragging bodies,ect.:
The X button lets you interact with objects/people such as dragging bodies, holding people
hostage when holding a gun, and opening doors.
Picking up objects/guns:
You would press the circle button O when you want to pick up a gun.
You would hold down the Square button to switch or select a weapon. You would then press
Left or Right on your D-Pad which is where there are arrows pointing up,left, down, and
right or you can use the Left Analogue Stick. Tap the Square button if you want to switch
to the weapon you were holding before.
Here are some controls that aren't stated:
Hold down The left analogue stick when you're holding an object such as a gun, a coin, and
even a knife which is very fun.A Circle would then replace your normal cross-hair which is
the thing in the middle of the screen that tells you where your aiming at. If you let go
of the Analogue stick, then Agent 47 would throw whatever you were holding.
If you want to aim, you would press the Right Analogue. If you have bought upgrades for
the sniper rifle, then you would be able to aim even closer by pressing the Right Analogue
down again. To exit the view and get back to third person view, then you would press the
Analogue Stick down again until you are back in third person view. READ THIS FIRST! This
is probably the most annoying thing that many beginners, and me, have struggled with. If
you have a sniper in a suit case, such as the very first level, there won't be anything
that will tell you how to open it unless you press the Select button which is what not
many beginners think about doing. To open the briefcase to get the sniper rifle, you must
hold down the Square button like your going to switch weapons. You would then select the
briefcase and Agent 47 will open the briefcase and, if it is your custom rifle, will
assemble it which is very time consuming so do this in a place with no people in it or
they'll see you.
It is probably the most important tool that a hit-man could ever use. To use the map, you
must press Left Trigger 2. The map will show you who is a civilian, the person you need to
kill, and more. Here are what the colors on the map mean:
Red: The assassination target
Yellow/Tan: A security guard
There is no button for you to climb things or jump =( . If you want to climb something
such as a ladder, a box, a short wall, or a window, you would have to push your Left
Analogue Stick up or press the Up button on the D-pad which are the arrows pointing
up,down, left, and right. You have to be facing the thing you want to climb and you have to
be near it.
I hope this manual helps!
