It is a very good game, this is the best soccer game for the Playstation, and one of the best games of soccer in the world. For playability and diversion is really good and it maintains the great style of the Winning Eleven saga, for those that thought that the WE4 were so good that not will be possible to overcome, this demonstrates the opposite. To the great family of National Teams now are added Slovenia (before they qualify to the EURO2000, and they great participation), and as WE4, WE2000 have the U-23 teams, the teams have qualifield to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, and some Asiatic U-23 teams. Now are 24 Master Teams, the most important from South America arrives River Plate and the Vasco Da Gama. The injuries, to choose the captain, the fouls of the GK, etc... they seem small things but when playing they become very cool and they really improve the game. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxx ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----- ______________ 3-.HOW TO PLAY\________________________________________________________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----- ********************* * 3.i. Strategies **************** This are the strategies here are the same order as in the game: - No Strategy - Normal - Center Attack - Right Side Attack - Left Side Attack - Opp. Side Attack - Change Sides - CB Overlap - Zone Press - Counter Attack - Offside Trap - Formation Changes (Choose a formation and change to it in the match with only press the buttton wich you are choosed) You can put a max. of 4 strategies at the same time. Select them in the strategy screen, choose "professional" (the most efficient, and you got more control of the strategies) To set the strategies hold L2 and push S and/or O and/or T and/or X. A little description of the strategies: ------------------------- Right or left side attack ------------------------- Set this strategy to attack by the sides right or left, this make your attack more efficient on the side(s) witch you choose ------------ Offside trap ------------ Come on, you already know this rule (I think so..) Make you team "play" with the offside trap, the defender trap you oponent in offside. This strategy is dangerous, and the most of the times, very useless. ---------- Zone Press ---------- The best strategy in the WE & International Super Star Soccer Sagas (from the game ISS of Super Nintendo (SNES)) They make press over the opponent team. This strategy is the most useful of the game, and with this your defending to be more easy. -------------- Counter attack -------------- Wait in your zone and attack for surprise with a counter Attack ------------- Centre attack ------------- Set this strategy to attack by the center of the field. (This strategy is good for centering) ------------ Change Sides ------------ This strategy changes your players of his sides to the other side. Example: A player was ubicated in the right side, now he be play on the left side. This is good to confuse your enemy But... be careful don't confuse you too. ----------------- Opp. Side Attack ----------------- The players go for the other side in attack, and if you change the side you be a good chance to make the attack better. ------------------- Centre Back Overlap ------------------- This strategy makes you center back, go foward and go to the enemy area (it's good to suprise the enemy) (and it's very cool)- ************** * 3.v. Recomendations * ************************ - It is very good modify up the speed of the game until they are three free spaces (15), in the screen where you adjust the speed of the game. Play with the maximum is an exaggeration and less than that recommended becomes very slow and less amusing the game, with this speed the game it will be more real and amusing. - Play WE in the same way plays that you would play if you were inside the game field... it is the best thing that you can make, you will have a good time, and WE is also so real that gives you the possibility to make it very similar. - Learns how to manage your players well, chooses and understands a formation once and for all, don't change it the whole time, because you won't be able to learn the position of the players inside the field.
