I like super easy battles so I am a big believer in leveling up.  I was at level 100 with
Ultima Weapon and 3 crystal crowns in my equipment.  I had my magic configured to Triangle
for Aeroga and the X for Curoga.  I had used all AP, Power and Defense Ups on myself.  I
made sure I had all elixirs in my items even though I only ended uo using one.

I had all my fighting abilities equipped except for Trinity and Sonic.  I can not stress
this enough...Take Sonic off.  Sonic is actually a kiss of death against Sephiroth.  Sonic
on your abilities will pop on more often than the others and you seldomly get a hit with
it so all you have done is waste MP and left yourself open for damage.

Once prepped I saved.  Reason for this is if you are short on elixers than you can simple
restart the game if ya lose and you'll get your elixers back if you ended up using a lot
of them.

When the battle starts put on aeroga if ya want.  Target Sephiroth and keep him targetted.
 The targeting will come off after his special attacks, so keep putting the targeting on
him.  Don't worry too much about his huge fire attacks...at level 100 they are far from
fatal and you can use them to your advantage.  If you are right next to him during his
fire attack you take a hit but if you use one of your special equipped attacks while in
the flames, provided you have him targeted you can do him some real damage.

Special attacks, mp haste, mp rage, and Elixirs are crucial to a fast win.

Keep yourself healthy of course using cure as much as possible to save your elixers.  If
by the rare chance he gets you in his instant death move have an elixer ready and use it
at the exact moment his black circle around you hits...otherwise his follow up slash will
kill you.

His instant death attacks are easy to stop if you are near him and whack him a lot or if
you use Strike in your abilities.

Another great thing about being leveled so high is when his meteor attacks start it is
really easy to just keep curing yourself and hitting him in between.

In summary, be leveled as high as you can, have your best equipment on, have plently of
elixers, keep him targeted, keep curing when ya have to, and don't be shy.  Go at him with
all that you have.  Stay close and knock the living daylights out of him.  Have fun!
