Help trying to defeat centaurs in tomb of tihocan its so hard been trying for 5 months are there anyways to kill the centaurs?

im in Damocles shrine. i have pulled down the block put in the door way when open hop up to get into the hole and it wont grab on like wtf is it just my game thats glitched?

i have tried sereveral times to get across the roped part to swing to the enterance and everytime i do i die any hints that would help
