Fight against Cut Man:
Press Left, Circle, Up, Triangle, Down, X, Right, Square, L1, R1, L2, R2 when "Press Start" appears at the title screen. Start a new game under the normal or hard difficulty setting. Cut Man will be your opponent at the end of Optic Sunflower's stage.
Sigma Blade:
Press L3(2), R3, L3(2), R3, L3(2), R3, L3(2), R3 when "Press Start" appears at the title screen. Start a new game under the normal or hard difficulty setting. The Sigma Blade can now be purchased at the development shop.

Play as Alia:
Press Down, R1, Up, L1, Square, X, Triangle, Circle when "Press Start" appears at the title screen. Start a new game under the normal or hard difficulty setting. Alia can now be purchased at the development shop.
Play as Black Zero:
Press L1(2), R1(2), L1(4) when "Press Start" appears at the title screen. Start a new game under the normal or hard difficulty setting. Black Zero can now be purchased at the development shop.
Play as Layer:
Press Square(2), Right, X, R1 when "Press Start" appears at the title screen. Start a new game under the normal or hard difficulty setting. Layer can now be purchased at the development shop.
Play as Palette:
Press R1, X, Left, Square(2) when "Press Start" appears at the title screen. Start a new game under the normal or hard difficulty setting. Palette can now be purchased at the development shop.
Play as Ultimate Armor X:
Press Left(3), Right(3), Left(4), Right(4) when "Press Start" appears at the title screen. Start a new game under the normal or hard difficulty setting. Ultimate Armor X can now be purchased at the development shop.
Play as White Axl:
Press L2(3), R2(3), L2(3), R2 when "Press Start" appears at the title screen. Start a new game under the normal or hard difficulty setting. White Axl can now be purchased at the development shop.
Bonus characters:
Successfully complete the game and load your cleared saved file. The navigator used most to complete the levels will be unlocked (Alia, Layer, or Palette). Alia is similar to X with an X-buster, but cannot use armor pieces. Layer is similar to Zero with a Z-saber. Palette is similar to Axl, but has no DNA-copy abilities.
Alternate ending sequence:
The character that kills Lumine (Axl, X, or Zero) will determine which ending sequence appears.
Axl's White Armor:
Successfully complete the game with all of Axl's metals and use Axl to defeat the final Boss with a double attack.
X's Ultimate Armor:
Successfully complete the game with all of X's metals and all eight armor pieces.
Zero's Black Armor:
Successfully complete the game with all of Zero's metals.
Zero's Sigma-Blade:
Successfully complete the game and load your cleared saved file. You can buy Zero's Sigma-Blade at the R&D Lab.
Hint: Defeating Bosses:
Just have both character's life at full and perhaps a Life Tank. You can kill every Boss with only the Buster and Saber.

The following is the recommended order of Boss to take on based on weapon weaknesses. Note: Vile is weak against Yeti's ice weapon.

Use the following Boss order. Each Boss' weakness is the weapon acquired from the Boss listed above it. Though Earthrock Trilobite's helmet is destroyed by the gravity weapon and it does more damage, attacking with guard breaking moves (full charge, third swing, eighth shot) will only knock the helmet off and he will be vulnerable while he tries to return to it.
Earthrock Trilobite (weak against Guard Breaks or Gravity Weapon; harder as he is not distracted)
