time frame, continue to bid $1.00 at a time, and if that does not work
after a couple of dollar bids, try bumping it up to $5.00 bids.

If in an auction, and you wish to win the auction and you are on a time
frame, On the first bid, bid $100.00 If anyone goes over that, bid
another $100.00, and if another person passes you up another $100.00.
