NBA2K2 Cheats

When you are down by a few points, press L1 + R2 to call the defense
to create an intentional foul. Use this as a strategy to try and tie
the score to go to overtime, assuming the opponent will miss the free
throws.

To do the Vince Carter dunk (under the legs) on a break away, control Stackhouse, Bryant, Carter, Macgrady, or any other good player. Hold Turbo and go up for a dunk. You will make it most of the time.

To unlock the codes menu in options, go to the Game play menu and hold the D-pad right and the analog stick left. Then Press Start. Then go back out to the options menu and it will be unlocked

Go to the active players section and find the 80's All-Stars. The West 80's team will have two players who are not active. They are Bernard King and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Take out any player(s) and trade them in for one or both of them.

Open the cheat menu and enter the code "MEGASTARS" to unlock special teams: the VC Team, Sega Team and NBA2K2 Team.
