How do I complete the Maelstrom level on World's End. I keep fighting but Will Turner always gets stabbed. What should I do?

ok, so there is this really fat lady and if i "ole'" her into the pot, jack will throw a coconut on her head. the problem is, i cant "ole'" her into the pot, im close, i press "o", BUT SHE'S NOT "OLE'"ING INTO THE POT! i die before u know it...HELP!
