I have beat the game on easy and normal mode and have just started on the Hard Mode. In the first tournament, the Castaic B*** Cup, I can't get the b*** to bite on any of the lures. Since it is the first tourney, I have a very limited selection of lures. I have tried the Floater Silver 07, The Dives-To FireTiger 06, the Floater Perch 07, the Countdown Minnow in various sizes, and all the fish swim up to it and immediately turn away. I am not sure why there is such a big difference between the normal and hard settings. I have tried reeling in and stopping when the fish spot the lure, I have tried steadily reeling in after the fish spot the lure, i have tried casting and leaving the lure out for a period of time and nothing seems to work. No matter what lure or method I use all of the fish immediately swim away from the lure after swimming up to it. Can someone PLEASE give me tips on how they fish in the hard mode? I am obviously missing something and am very frustrated. Please help.
