I found better glitches this time, too. Again, I apologize for the blank planets, but I can only find so many glitches at a time, and I’d like to have a place for them in the future. The same information from my first glitch guide is here, too. I hope you will try out at least a few of these glitches. Enjoy! If you have any questions, please let me know through a private message or e-mail. I will be sure to help you the best I can. And please tell me about any glitches you know that aren't in this guide. I will be sure to give you credit for your findings. Also, please go to this URL if you are unclear on any headings in this guide: http://www.neoseeker.com/resourcelink.html?rid=138851 ================================================================================= 2.0 GENERAL --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.a FPM WALL CLIMB --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Gamespot.com Equipment: None Complexity: Major/Variable Effect: Allows you to climb up almost any vertical object. This amazing glitch will allow you to do all sorts of things that are otherwise impossible. This will work with almost any vertical object, but it only works in Challenge Mode (when you have First Person mode available). Find a wall (or something like a wall) and look over it. You will not be able to see where you’re going very easily. Then turn First Person mode on. Walk over to the wall and double jump, then rapidly tap SQUARE. You should notice you are climbing up the wall! You can move and look around while climbing and even ‘explore’ the ceiling as long as you keep tapping SQUARE. Be careful, because some walls are harder to climb that others, and you can’t climb every wall. Also, this glitch can cause accidental death and other problems. As long as you know what you're doing, this glitch is very useful for cheating past certain obstacles and going to out-of-reach locations. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.b WALL HACKING --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Funny_Pillow of Neoseeker.com Equipment: Decoy Glove Complexity: Major/Variable Effect: Allows you to pass through almost any wall. Similar to the FPM Wall Climb glitch, this one enables you to cheat through the levels. Find a straight (or mostly straight) wall and stand against it. This does not work with curved, slanted, or overly-textured walls. Anyway, take out the Decoy Glove and place a few of them as close as you can to Ratchet (this is easier if you hold L1). You should see the screen shake violently (if not, throw a few more decoys). When that happens, place another decoy between you and the decoy(s) in front of you. You will either be forced through the wall, or you can walk through it (if the screen suddenly stops shaking and the camera is inside the wall, or if part of Ratchet is going through the wall). If not, you may want to destroy the decoys and start over. If it takes you many tries, you’ll have to try another wall. If successful, you will be free to explore inside the wall. This is very affective if you are having difficulties with the Electrolyzer/Infiltrator. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.c BIG WRENCH --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Graphical Credit: Gamewinners.com Equipment: None Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Super-sizes your wrench. Go over to a vendor and throw your wrench away from it. Before it comes back, activate the vendor and then resume playing. The wrench should be HUGE. It will stay that way until you swing it or take out a weapon. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.d FPM GROUND BOUNCE --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Gamewinners.com Equipment: None Complexity: Moderate/Medium Effect: Allows you to bounce off the ground and go over mud and lava. This glitch is very similar to the FPM Wall Climb, but it’s not as significant. Turn First Person mode on and face the ground. Double-jump and rapidly tap SQUARE. You should be bouncing above the ground. This does not work after a fall. But you CAN use this glitch over mud, lava, and anything else you slowly sink into (as long as it’s not after a fall). It’s not very useful, but it provides a great shortcut on planet Oozla. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.e BROKEN WRENCH --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Gamewinners.com Equipment: None Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Causes you to swing your wrench without extending it. While riding on any taxi, swing your wrench and immediately tap SQUARE. You should see Ratchet swing his wrench, but it won’t extend and he won’t perform any combos. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.f BETRAYAL BOMBS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Boardsus.com Equipment: Bomb Glove; Charge Boots Complexity: Minor/Fairly Easy Effect: Causes your own bombs to damage you. Find a large, flat area and equip the Charge Boots (if necessary) and the Bomb Glove. Throw a bomb and immediately charge before it explodes. If you timed it right, you should get hurt from the bomb. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.g THE WORLD IS SPINNING --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Funny_Pillow of Neoseeker.com Equipment: None Complexity: Minor/Fairly Easy Effect: Makes the level spin around you. Get in any turret and spin around in circles in either one direction. After a few seconds stop spinning and immediately get out. You should see the level spinning around you. To undo the glitch, press anything. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.h NO CLANK --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Boardsus.com Equipment: None Complexity: Major/Variable Effect: Allows you to play the entire game witout Clank. You’ll first need to know the FPM Wall Climb (the first glitch in this guide). Then start a new game in Challenge Mode and continue to play as you would normally. When you get to Endako you must completely ignore the Clank mission. When you get to Barlow, instead of using the Heli/Thruster-Pack to reach the hoverbike, wall climb and get the coordinates. Clank will still appear during the scenes, but he will disappear afterwards. You’ll have to rely on the FPM Wall Climb glitch a lot, which can get difficult at times. I’m not sure how it will work with the Levitator because I haven’t gotten that far yet. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.i AQUATIC/FROZEN DECOYS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Me Equipment: Decoy Glove Complexity: Minor/Fairly Easy Effect: Forces the decoys under the ice or water. This is somewhat related to the Wall Hacking glitch, but not nearly as major. Stand against a wall on or very close to a body of water/ice and throw a decoy as close as closely as possible, so that it disappears. You should notice that the decoy lands on the floor below the surface of the water or ice. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.j DECOY BUOY --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Me Equipment: Decoy Glove; Thermonator Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Allows the decoys to stand on the water. Find a patch of ice (or freeze a pool of water) and place a decoy on top. Take out the Thermonator and melt the ice. The decoy will be standing on top of the water when it would normally explode. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.k CHARGE FLARE --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Graphical Credit: EvilDarkCreature of YouTube.com Equipment: Mega Rocket Cannon Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Leaves the Mega Rocket Cannon effect over your head when hanging on a ledge. Find a ledge you can easily grab onto and take out the Mega Rocket Cannon. Charge it up and, without releasing the rockets, grab onto the ledge. You will see the flare effect from the cannon over your head that you can manually trigger. Also, you will not be able to release the rockets while hanging onto the ledge even after you let go, so take advantage if you accidentally charge the cannon when you don’t want to. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.l FLOATING DECOYS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Multiple Resources Equipment: Decoy Glove Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Causes the decoys to float in mid-air. There are three ways to do this glitch that I know of: -For starters, place a decoy on top of a crate and then break it. The decoy will be floating. -You can place a bunch of decoys on a taxi, too. They will gradually slide off one-by-one and float somewhere above the ground. -If you place a few decoys on your ship before taking off, you will leave the decoys behind. But if you put some on the wings you will take them into space with you! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.m NEW WRENCH ATTACKS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Boardsus.com Equipment: Any glove weapon Complexity: Minor/Fairly Easy Effect: Causes you to swing your wrench as is you're using a weapon. Equip any glove weapon and press CIRCLE and then SQUARE immediately afterwards. You will see that Ratchet moves like he is using the glove, but he will be holding his wrench. But this consumes ammo even though the glove doesn’t do anything. This also works with the Walloper. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.n DECOY GOES ON --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Gamewinners.com Equipment: Decoy Glove Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Causes the decoy to go on forever. Go anywhere that has some sort of conveyer belt (or those moving bridges like the ones on Maktar Nebula) and place a decoy on it. When the decoy reaches the end of the conveyer belt it will keep going on forever. You can use the Vaporizer (or another long-distance weapon) to destroy it, or you can reverse the conveyer belt to make it come back (if possible). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.o ABANDONED --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: YouTube.com Equipment: None Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Causes the taxi to leave without you. Get on any taxi and press TRIANGLE and X at the same time. If done correctly, you will jump off the taxi as it leaves, so it will go without you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.p SPIDER CONFUSION --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Neoseeker.com Equipment: SpiderBot Glove Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Causes the SpiderBot to shoot backwards. Load the SpiderBot Glove and release it somewhere that has enemies (the glitch doesn't work unless enemies are around). Press and hold X, and then hold SQUARE while holding X. The SpiderBot should shoot backwards, towards Ratchet and away from the enemies. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.q AIR NODE --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Graphical Credit: Me Equipment: Decoy Glove Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Causes Ratchet to turn a node in the air. Before you turn a node, place a decoy or two in the node. When you walk around it, Ratchet will either step on top of the decoy and walk on air or get stuck beside it and turn the node without moving, depending on how straight the decoy is standing. Lop-sided decoys will make you float, and straight ones will make the node turn itself. This also works with the Mega Turret. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.r WASTED AMMO --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Me Equipment: Multi-Star Blade (or whatever) Complexity: Moderate/Easy Effect: Causes you to involuntarily waste ammo. Toggle First-Person Mode on and take out the Multi-Star Blade. Now, aim the weapon anywhere and tap the trigger once. You will notice this somehow causes you to shoot two blades when you only tapped the trigger, which should normally release one blade. Also, the second blade shoots forward, no matter which direction the first blade goes. This wastes a lot of ammo, so remember that the next time your in FPM. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.s MALFUNCTIONING WARP PAD --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation/Overlooked Programming Credit: Me Equipment: Decoy Glove; Visibomb Gun (optional) Complexity: Moderate/Fairly Easy Effect: Disables a warp pad so you can't use it. Find a warp pad and place a decoy on it. The decoy must be centered so you cannot see the blue circle. Now, get to the corresponding warp pad. Do NOT die, or you will have to start over. When you get to the end of the warp pad line, try to activate it. If you placed the decoy correctly, you should notice the camera warp to the first warp pad and close in on you, but you will not go anywhere. No matter how many times you try, you won't be able to warp back. To end the glitch, simply die or use the Visibomb to track and destroy the decoy. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.t INFINITE BOOST --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Gamespot.com Equipment: None Complexity: Moderate/Easy Effect: You can boost your ship without depleting the bar. When you want to use a boost while playing any ship mission, rapidly tap SQUARE instead of holding it down. Your ship will still move faster, but you won't deplete the bar. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.u JUMP PAD ALTERATION --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Youtube.com Equipment: None Complexity: Moderate/Faily Easy Effect: Allows you to us the lunar jump pads to jump in different directions. Find a triangular lunar jump pad, and run across it towards one of its corners. When you are on the edge of the corner, press X while still running. After a couple of attempts, you should activate the jump pad but jump in another direction rather than the fixed one. ================================================================================= 3.0 SLIM COGNITO’S SHIP SHACK --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.a CHEAT SLIM --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Gamespot.com Equipment: None Complexity: Moderate/Fairly Easy Effect: Allows you to buy an expensive mod for the price of a cheap one. First, make sure you have enough Raritanium to buy the cheap ship mods. Highlight a mod you cannot afford and try to buy it. When the ‘You Can’t Afford It’ screen appears, press X and immediately switch to a cheap mod and buy it. You will have to be quick for the glitch to work. If successful, you will pay for the cheap mod but get the mod you couldn’t afford! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.b MISSING WINGS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Graphical Credit: Youtube.com Equipment: None Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: The wings of the model in Slim's shop temporarily disappear. Stand in front of the ship vendor and bring up the map. Close it and enter the vendor. The wings of the model in the vendor should be missing for a few seconds and suddenly appear. ================================================================================= 4.0 OOZLA --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.a CHANGE MUSIC --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Audio Credit: YouTube.com Equipment: None Complexity: Minor/Fairly Easy Effect: Switches around the outside music and store music. Take the warp pad to the Megacorp store and then leave it again. Then charge out towards the mud and kill yourself. If you come back to the store, the outside music will play. If you appear by your ship you will hear the music from the store. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.b FIGHT THE SWAMP BEAST AGAIN --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Me Equipment: None Complexity: Moderate/Medium Effect: You can fight the swamp beast as many times as you'd like. You know you can't fight that swamp beast again after you get the Box Breaker, right? Well this little glitch will allow you to fight it as many times as you like. First, take the warp pad by your ship to the Megacorp store. Next, head to the first outdoor balcony. Turn First-Person on and climb up the wall to your left to get on the roof. This can be a little tricky. Once you get on top, turn First-Person off and use the Bomb Glove, Decoy Glove, or something similar to see where it's safe to walk. Make your way to the far side of the building to the east (north is the top, south is the bottom, east is right, and west is left) of the map. Now look to the big empty space next to the store to the left. You should see the outside of the tunnel leading to the lair of the swamp beast. Charge out towards the tunnel, holding R1 to continuously charge. You will go inside the tunnel and slide down to the beast. You will then have to fight it to get back out. Then you can repeat this process to fight the beast as much as you'd like. This is a great way to upgrade your weapons. ================================================================================= 5.0 MAKTAR NEBULA --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry, no glitches yet ================================================================================= 6.0 ENDAKO --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6.a NEW PAINT JOB --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Graphical Credit: Gamewinners.com Equipment: Any weapon with Shock Mod Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Alter's the thug leader's helicopter color. When you fight the Thugs-4-Less guy in his chopper, take out any weapon with Shock Mod. Repeatedly fire it at him for a few seconds and wait. Even when he’s not being electrocuted, his chopper will be tinted blue. This will last for the whole fight. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6.b CLANK RETURNS V1 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Funny_Pillow of Neoseeker.com Equipment: None Complexity: Moderate/Easy Effect: You can play as Clank again. Return to the place were you got Clank and go into the next room, where the little Megacorp door is. Climb up the wall surrounding the door, and be sure to back up a bit when you get to the overhang. When you reach the top, move forward and glide through the wall in front of you (or else you will fall into a void and die). After that, you will see parts of Clank’s spot appear, allowing you to land in there. If you want to play as Clank again, simply make your way to the air vent. You will see another Clank just standing there. Move close to him, and Ratchet will disappear, continuing the game as Clank. You can redo all of the challenges in there, but don’t worry about messing up your save file or anything, because you can’t go through the door. If you die, you will continue as Ratchet, and you can only play as Clank once per visit. ================================================================================= 7.0 BARLOW --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7.a FLOOD BARLOW --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Me Equipment: Decoy Glove; Thermonator Complexity: Major/Fairly Easy Effect: You can swim all over Barlow. Go up the elevator behind your ship and unfreeze the large pool. Go over to the platform in it and in the corner next to the water. Perform the Wall Hacking glitch in the corner until you land in some water behind the wall. If you want the screen to be tinted blue, have the camera go under the square of water. If not, have it go around the square. Swim out to the wall ahead of you and go through it. You will end up outside the wall and can swim through the whole level. You can’t swim too high (which would be around the tops of the rock formations and buildings) or you will undo the glitch. I haven’t tried swimming off the map yet, but it’ll likely send you back to your last continue point. You can also swim through some of the rock formations and go through the racetrack. Also, if you have the screen tinted blue, you will notice that all the enemies sound waterlogged. My personal favorite thing about this glitch is Ratchet’s Chewbacca scream. Dive down into the pit until you undo the glitch. The screen will still be blue and you will hear Ratchet scream like a wooky! When that happens, you and some enemies will come back with a darker tone than before. -Alternative- Instead of using the Wall Hacking glitch, you can wall-climb up the side of the building and stand above the water. Then, look between the support beams to find a small patch of ice. Jump on it and melt the ice. This way you can swim through the level much more easily. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7.b PHONY ICE --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Gamewinners.com Equipment: Thermonator; Swing Shot Complexity: Minor/Faily Easy Effect: The pool does not freeze on one end, allowing you to swim through ice on the other end. Go through the Swing Shot course as usual. When you reach the first pool, swin through it and freeze it when you reach the other side. Now go throught the rest of the course as usual, then go through it again to get to the first pool (don't die!). When you reach the pool again, you will notice the water is still liquid. Swin through it. When you reach the other side, you will see the surface is frozen on that end. If you swim up too high, you will suddenly appear on top, but the camera will remain under the ice. ================================================================================= 8.0 FELTZIN SYSTEM --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8.a INSTANT KILL --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: ? Credit: Gamewinners.com Equipment: Nuke Complexity: Moderate/Easy Effect: All the wasp ships die instantly, at the same time. Start any mission and quickly equip the Nuke. Then, without moving, fire the Nuke. The blast should quickly kill all the ships at once, within about 3 seconds. ================================================================================= 9.0 NOTAK --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 9.a FLOOD NOTAK --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Me Equipment: Decoy Glove; Thermonator Complexity: Moderate/Medium Effect: You can swim all over Notak. Go to the large circular pool to the left of the entrance of the chemical factory. Melt the ice and stand in the corner. Use the Wall Hacking glitch to go through the wall. Before you go and jump into the square of water behind the wall, test it by throwing a decoy into it. If it explodes, it’s safe to swim in there. I’ve been experiencing an unusual glitch in which you fall to the bottom of the pool instead of swimming in the water, which is why I’m suggesting the test. Anyway, swim out along the inside of the wall until you get to the exit (if you swim straight out you will end up over the water and undo the glitch). As long as you don’t go too high (which is at about the tops of the shorter buildings) or swim over the water you are free to explore the planet. It’s not as good as it is with Barlow, but it’s still fun. ================================================================================= 10.0 SIBERIUS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry, I have not found any glitches ================================================================================= 11.0 TABORA --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11.a SWIM UNDER TABORA --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Me Equipment: Thermonator Complexity: Moderate/Fairly Easy Effect: You can swim around under the level. Go into the cave and stand in the second pool. Position yourself to the left of the support beam next to the Platinum Bolt location and turn First Person mode on. Use the FPM Wall Climb glitch until you surpass the wall along the ceiling. This can be tricky because of the ice. When you get fall behind the wall you should land on a tiny ice platform. Melt the ice and you will swim behind the wall. You can now go anywhere under the level. You can swim through the walls surrounding the underground parts of the level, but you cannot get out of the canyon where you used the Glider. Also, if you swim out too far off the map the game will freeze. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11.b DECOY LAUNCHER --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: EvilDarkCreature of YouTube.com Equipment: Decoy Glove Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Causes a decoy to throw you in the air. Go to the second pool in the cave and stand in the corner by the ledge above the seesaw thing. Place one decoy directly in front of you. You should end up hovering over the corner and eventually fly up to the ledge. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11.c ENCASED IN ICE V1 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Graphical Credit: Me Equipment: Thermonator Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Causes you to freeze yourself. Go into the cave and then up to the third pool. Stand under the falling water and freeze it. You will end up inside the frozen water. To undo the glitch, just walk out of the ice. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11.d FLOATING DECOY V2 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: YouTube.com Equipment: Decoy Glove Complexity: Minor/Fairly Easy Effect: Causes the decoy to float over a building. Use the Wall Climbing glitch to get on the middle building in the town. Now smash all but a couple of those spinning things, then jump to the circle in the center. Aim a decoy at one of the spinning things just as it's about to pass by and throw it. If you timed it correctly, the decoy should float after the spinning thing moves. ================================================================================= 12.0 DOBBO --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12.a RELIVED GLORY --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Me Equipment: None Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: The sequence where Clank returns to normal is played, even if you never went to Lunar City. Take the taxi to the Lunar City launch pad. Then, jump in the water to kill yourself. Before you appear back on the land, the sequence that shows Clank returning to normal (after defeating the thug leader) starts playing, when you never even went to Lunar City. This only works once per visit. ================================================================================= 13.0 JOBA --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 13.a DECOY DISTRACTION --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Gamespot.com Equipment: Decoy Glove Complexity: Major/Fairly Easy Effect: Keeps the enemies from attacking you during the Impossible Challenge. This glitch provides an easy way to complete the Impossible Challenge. First, make sure the Decoy Glove is full on ammo. Then start the challenge and fight your way through. When you get to the first cage match, continue to fight, but mind the round you are on. When you get to round 10, kill all but one or two enemies and put down a decoy. Guard the decoy and kill the last enemies. When you finish the first cage match and fall to the arena floor, the enemies will ignore you and crowd around under the decoy. This will allow you to kill the enemies way more easily. You can even use your weaker weapons to save the better ones for other cage matches and boss battles. So on the last round of each cage match, be sure to place a decoy when there are only a few enemies left. When you get further into the challenge and have to deal with lava balls, place three or four decoys in the field and leave four or five enemies. If you can follow through this strategy, you can easily complete the Impossible Challenge without using up your Nanotech or best weapons. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 13.b SCALE THE ARENA --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: YouTube.com Equipment: None Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Allows you to walk and glide around the arena. Take the taxi to the entrance of the arena. Use the Wall Climbing glitch to get on top of the entrance. Get out of First-Person Mode and jump to the left. You will notice you can walk around it. As you get further down the perimeter of the arena, you will start falling. Quickly press X to glide around the arena. This way you can get from one entrance to another without entering the arena. ================================================================================= 14.0 HRUGIS CLOUD --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry, no glitches yet. ================================================================================= 15.0 TODANO --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15.a RIDE THE ROCKET --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Boardsus.com Equipment: None Complexity: Moderate/Difficult Effect: Allows you to ride the rocket and fly above the level. First, destroy all but the last rocket and go up to the dam. Get on the platform below the zipline and destroy the yellow things. Turn on First Person mode and on the second post next to the rock formations (this is easier if you are facing down). While facing down, glide over to the flat tip of the rocket and try to land on it. This will take several tries at first. When you finally get up there, turn First Person off (or you won’t get very high with the glitch) and attack the rocket while holding L1. You will go up hundreds of feet until you can see the entire level in one view! Eventually you will get too high and surpass the rocket. While you’re up there you can glide to any part of the level. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15.b NO MORE TOURS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Boardsus.com Equipment: Decoy Glove Complexity: Moderate/Easy Effect: Messes up the tours by holding back the tour bot (hilarious!). Wait for the tour bot to appear and then place a few decoys behind him before he goes. The tour bot will not be able to get past the decoys, so it will move in this weird swaying way. The tourists will be able to go around and through the decoys, but they will just stand there and wait for the tour bot forever. You can also do this anywhere else on the tour as long as it’s on the path. If you do it on the bridge the tourists will fall off! Also, if you destroy the decoys the tour bot will keep ‘swaying’ and move at a very slow pace. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15.c WARNING! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Corruption Credit: Boardsus.com Equipment: None Complexity: Major/Easy Effect: Corrupts your memory card and prevents you from going to Boldan. As much as you want to, do NOT use the Wall Climb glitch to get coordinates for Boldan. This somehow corrupts your memory card and prevents the scene in which you get coordinates from playing, so you can’t get past Boldan. On the contrary, you can use the shortcut to the Insomniac Museum and go to Boldan from there. This glitch does not affect everyone, but just cheat your way through the facility rather than climbing up to the end to be safe. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15.d SOLID WATER --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Graphical Credit: Boardsus.com Equipment: None Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Allows you to walk on some water. Go to the entrance of the Megacorp factory and use the Wall Climb glitch on the left round building. Then glide down to the water outside the factory. You will notice that the water down there is solid. You have only a small space to stand on, so use something like the Bomb Glove to see where it’s save to walk. If you go over to the bridge you should see a small opening in the water. You can fall through it if you walk on it, and you will see that one of the buildings has this extension coming from it for the falling effect in the armory. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15.e SUICIDAL TOUR GUIDE --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: YouTube.com Equipment: None Complexity: Moderate/Fairly Easy Effect: Causes the tour guide to run over the cliff at top speed. First, crouch in the exact spot the tour guide appears for a tour (where the four walkway blocks meet after the large circle). If you are positioned correctly, the tour guide will appear on top of you, unable to move away. Stay in that spot until the tour guide is saying the last line of the tour. As he says "Any questions?" jump out of his way. You should see the tour guide run towards the end of the park at top speed and get stuck in the cliff! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15.f FLOATING DECOY V3 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Me Equipment: Decoy Glove Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Causes the tour bus to leave a decoy floating in midair. At either the beginning or end of a tour, jump on the bus and place a decoy on it. When the bus leaves, the decoy will be suspended in midair, as if the bus never left. ================================================================================= 16.0 BOLDAN --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 16.a ALTERNATE MUSEUM ACCESS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: PlayStationNotebook.com Equipment: None Complexity: Major/Fairly Easy Effect: Allows you to go to the Insomniac Museum whenever you want. Go up to the grind rail and go through as usual. When you get to the last part before the construction site jump to the left power line and hit the transformer. You should break free, allowing you to freely glide down to the grass area below. From there, go over to the large garage. When you get to the door, take a left and walk along the gray platform. You will eventually fall under it. When this happens walk under the garage and jump up through the purple floor. Kill the thugs that appear and use the warp pad labeled ‘Insomniac Museum’. -Alternative- If you want to make it even easier, use the Wall Climb glitch over the purple fencing instead. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 16.b ILLUSIONAL WALL --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Me Equipment: None Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: The blasts from the thugs hit you through the walls. Go to the entrance of the first building holding thugs. Kill the first two and alert the next two. When they shoot at you, stand directly against the purple glass walls. The blasts from the thugs should hit you, even though you have a wall blocking them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 16.c CHICKEN HICCUPS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Funny_Pillow Equipment: Any Acid Mod weapon Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: The Chicken Bots jerk endlessly, as if being hit. Find a place with Chicken Bots and something to stand on (like the fountain). Take out any weapon with Acid Mod and shoot a Chicken Bot while it's stationary. While it is being poisoned, it will keep acting like it's being hit, so it looks like it has the hiccups. Then, when the poison wears off, the Chicken Bot will still jerk until you attack it again. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 16.d DISAPPEARING THUGS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Graphical Credit: ? Equipment: None Complexity: Moderate/Easy Effect: The thugs inside the purple glass building disappear, leaving their weapons behind. Use the FPM Wall Climb glitch to climb over the purple fence. Now climb up the purple glass building on the other side. You should notice some thugs moving around in there. When you reach the top, look down inside. The thugs should disappear, but their weapons will be floating in the last position they were in. If you walk across the building and fall inside, the weapons will still be their, but they won't be solid. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 16.e LADDER BOUNCE --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: Me Equipment: None Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: Causes you to bounce off the ladder leading to the grind rail course instead of climbing it. Go up the elevator leading to the grind rails. Then, while holding Analog forward, jump into the ladder. When you hit the ladder, you should bounce off of it instead of climbing it. To climb the ladder, you must have as little momentum as possible, making this glitch extremely annoying. ================================================================================= 17.0 ARANOS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17.a RETURN TO JAIL --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Me Equipment: None Complexity: Major/Medium Effect: Allows you to redo the entire level. Go over to the inaccessible door and use the Wall Climbing glitch to get on the top of the ship. It may take a while to find the right spot to climb. Then, walk around the top of the ship, using the map to stay over the yellow parts of the level. When you get far enough you will fall through the roof and into the level. Where you land depends on what part of the ship, but you will most likely end up at Ratchet’s cell. You can now go through the entire level again. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17.b CLANK RETURNS V2 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Me Equipment: None Complexity: Major/Fairly Difficult Effect: Allows you to play as Clank. Repeat the above glitch and go to Ratchet’s cell. Find the air vent leading to Clank’s level and line yourself up with it. Back up until you get into the second cell and use the Charge Boots towards the air vent. This could take a few tries. Eventually you will end up inside the air vent. When this happens, you will be unable to move and the camera will go crazy. To continue the glitch, simply crouch jump and glide towards Clank’s level. This should be easy. When you get close enough to the second Clank you will resume playing as him. All the physics of the Endako glitch apply here. ================================================================================= 18.0 GORN --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry, no glitches yet. ================================================================================= 19.0 Snivelak --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19.a DEFEAT THUG BOSS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Boardsus.com Equipment: Any long-range weapons Complexity: Moderate/Easy Effect: Allows you to defeat the thug's mech without starting the battle. Use the Wall Climb glitch to get on top of the buildings surrounding the giant thug robot. You will notice that this does not start the scene. Use any turrets available and your long range weapons to defeat the robot. It will eventually die and start the scene. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19.b NO MORE AMMO --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Bad Animation Credit: YouTube.com Equipment: None Complexity: Minor/Easy Effect: The thug fighter ship doesn't fire any attacks. First, go to the location of any purple fighter jet to bait it into attack. Then, use the wall climbing glitch to get on top of the buildings. Stand about a foot away from the edge of the building. You should see that the thugs still shoot at you, but the ammo from their shots doesn't show. It will stay like that until you come in closer. ================================================================================= 20.0 SMOLG --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry, no glitches yet. ================================================================================= 21.0 GREBLIN --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21.a WATER DRAINING --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Funny_Pillow of Neoseeker.com Equipment: Decoy Glove Complexity: Moderate/Fairly Easy Effect: Allows you to mess around with the water in the factory (very random). Go to the factory by Angela’s house and stand at the very back of the elevator so the TRAINGLE command does not appear. Use the Wall Hacking glitch and then stretch-jump out to the square of water inside the wall. Now swim through the wall with the lasers behind it. There are a few things that can happen. Sometimes nothing might happen and the glitch will be turned off. Most likely, you will land on the floor of the room with the lasers with no water in it. Now the rest of this glitch is pretty random. Sometimes you will start swimming in nothing and then fall back down. Other times the glitch may be turned off. Or, instead of going into the large room you can go to the spot where you used the Hypnomatic. But be careful because this area is very glitchy; if you swim under the water in there you cannot get back out. When you try to surface you will end up gliding and falling back under. The only way out of the water is to come up from under the platforms. Also, part of a water square is sticking out of the wall in one corner, which you can use to get back out of the room if you jump up through the wall at the surface. ================================================================================= 22.0 DAMOSEL --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22.a INVISIBLE WATER --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Type: Overlooked Programming Credit: Boardsus.com Equipment: None Complexity: Moderate/Fairly Easy Effect: Allows you to swim all over the level. If you want, you can freeze all the water in the level to prevent reversing this glitch. If not, take the taxi to the end of the level. Go into the next room and kill all the enemies. Now go to either of the windows and turn First Person mode on. Use the Wall Climb glitch to get in the window. Now turn towards the room with the taxi and climb up the side of the window and onto the roof (you will have to climb sideways). Turn FPM off and |
