When your on the island, you run into big guys with guns and stun batons. But, no enemy in the entire game are as frightful as the regenerators. First off, screw the blowing off their legs and throwing gernades, shooting them with your shotgun or any weapon, or anything else you heard. I am telling you how to really kill them. First one you run into will be after you take the freezer card. You should have a fire gernade by then, if you don't then id you die, go back and look for a red pantry and open it. Use the fire gernade on the first one, and if it isn't dead, then shoot at it with a powerful weapon. I know what your saying, i just said that this isn't the way to kill it. But, i had 3 fire gernades left over and 1 hand gernade. If you have this, then use the fire gernades. Now when you kill the first one, it will drop 5000 p's. Then, go in the operating room and cut open the glass, take the emerald. Then, if not in the next hall way, you will run into the next one. If you want to attempt to kill it, then go ahead, but again, i also had left over gernades. Now then, if you don't want to face it, then run to the door.

Check your map when you get out of the hall way. There should be a door blinking in blue, go to it and ingore the creepy, freaky noise made by regenerators you hear. When you get in, look around and then go into the top right corner I belive, there should be a card rewriter, use it. Then, there should be a defroster button some where around that area. Then, after you push the button, go to the other room in there and open the vault. Following that, open the case and take the thermal scope. Attach it to your rifle if you have one, if you don't, then you are f***ed. Then, you will hear that regenerator noise. Get out of that little room and go back in the main freezer. There will be a regenerator there. Take out your rifle and there should be bright red spots on it. Shoot those. If you kill it, it should drop the normal amount, 5000p. That is how you kill a regenrator the right way. Basically, you just get your rifle out and shoot the red spots. Like said in Luis's memo 3, the spots which ore parasites, can not be seen by the naked eye. So you will need the thermo sensor.

And seriously don't try blowing off there legs, my friend, who beat the game a couple of times, told me not to. Here is why they will crawl over to you and jump on you. Not a bad idea.

If you think my method is a waste of money, think again. During your current area, killing them only gives you 5000p's. Next chapter, you will get 20,000 p's. Killing 2 of them is worth 40,000p's. If that is a waste of money to you, then you are freikin crazy.
