Biohazard Outbreak/Resident Evil Outbreak was released on the Sony Playstation
2 in the Asian region on 11 December 2003. The game is the first in the
Biohazard/Resident Evil series that player can get online to play with the
other players together. However, they have included the offline mode for those
who couldn't play the online mode. The game was formerly known as "Biohazard
Online/Resident Evil Online" when it was first announced. It under-went
several title changes, to "Biohazard Network", "Network Biohazard" before the
title became "Biohazard Outbreak".

Note that there are 4 sets of SP items location:
EASY/NORMAL A
EASY/NORMAL B
HARD/VERY HARD A
HARD/VERY HARD B
While you can choose the difficulties, you can't choose the "A" or "B" game.
(randomly assigned). There is no way of telling you are in an A or B game from
the start until you pick up your first A only or B only SP Items. Some items
will appear in both A and B game. If you do not find your SP Items and if it
is an "A" SP Item or "B" SP Item, do not hesitate to reset your game. If I
didn't list out whether it is an "A" or "B" SP Item, it means that the SP Item
will appear in both A and B.
There are 20 Scenarios SP Items per scenario and 20 Characters SP Items per
character (4 in every scenario). In all, there are 20 X 5 (5 scenarios) = 100
Scenarios SP Items for all scenario, and 20 X 8 = 160 Characters SP Items.
Overall, there are 100 + 160 = 260 SP Items in total.
You can only take up to 8 SP Items at a time. They will not occupy a slot in
your inventory, nor do they shine. In other words, they are naked to the human
eye, and the only way to obtain them is by repeatedly tapping the action
button at their appearance location. Jim's item search ability will not work
for SP Items too.
As for the Scenario SP Items, you just need to obtain them. For example, if
Kevin takes a certain Scenario SP Items, there is no need for the other
characters (Alyssa, Yoko etc) to obtain it again.
The SP Items can only be obtain by yourself. In other words, in online mode,
if your character obtain a certain Scenario SP Item, it will not count towards
your data.
Sometime, the SP items might be overlapped by an item. In that case, simply
take the items before searching for the SP Items.
If you obtain a specific set of Character SP Items, you can unlock the
alternate costume (s) of that character. If you obtain all 260 SP Items, you
can unlock the most hidden secret character, the 'Stickmen'.
Those that are required for unlocking the costumes will be listed first.
**Note those SP Items that has an English name AND the description up means
that they has been verified and confirmed that the location is 100% correct.
After obtaining a SP Item, there is NO NEED for you to proceed and complete
the scenario to keep the SP Item. As long as you take the item and save after
that, you keep the SP Item. To put it simple, you can obtain a SP Item, quit
immediately, save, and it'll be recorded.
Once you picked them up, you can pick them again in future games for extra
points.
