This guide is being written to help those that are in need of help finding and
capturingthose very special insectron that seem JUST...... out of reach. This
will contain hint's and tips to solve the problems that you may encounter.

I have written faqs for various games under the name Jcxtreme and Jcxtreme7786
examples are: Dynasty Warriors 4, Vampire the Masquerade Redemption and Final
Fantasy X. This is the first faq in I believe 3 years so bear with me on the
mistakes.

All bugs caught on Juraika are in Burkaqua Village near the save point and the
one stag beetle was caught in the very high tower that you climb. So location
is the area near the point (ex. Cage is general area around it no exact spot)

1) On top of the Leo King's Altar on Juraika. Place a Insector Trap III on
TOP of the altar itself, with a Ruby as bait. You will catch a Level 5 Faerie.
Faeries heal all adjacent insectors.
2) On top of the Great Table in the ancient ruins on Rosa (after you fight
Seed for the first time at the end of Chapter 7). I used an Insector Trap I
with Primeval Beef as bait. You'll catch a Level 5 Big Staggy. It may take a
couple of tries. Since Staggys appear to rule in the Insector fights, you
can problably just farm up 4-5 of them

There are 8 ranks for every bug type, except for the unique bug, dark emperor
(?). You can get the strongest ranks of the basic bug through breeding. Note
that I said basic, because I'm not sure how many unique bugs are out there.
For example, bugs that people been wanting to catch through traps such as
Pegasus, Poseidon, or Orion can all be obtained through breeding.
You breed a female adult bug to another male adult bug, you get a new bug
that is one rank higher than the higher ranking bug of the two mating bugs.
For example: if you breed a rank 4 itshorse bug to a rank 2 mantis, your
resulting bug will be a rank 5 itshorse.
You will never get a different breed of bug than the mating bugs. In another
word, your new bug will always be in the same bug family(type) of the higher
ranking mating bug.
The basic stats (health, strength & defense) of the new bug will always be a
little lower than the stronger one of two mating bugs. The best way to get
to the highest rank of a bug is to mate it with a random lower level bug.
What I mean by that is, you don't want to mate two high rank bugs.
For example, if you breed a rank 6 itshorse bug to a rank 5 mantis, you will
end up with a rank 7 itshorse. BUT if you breed a rank 6 itshorse to a rank
1 mantis, you will ALSO end up with a rank 7 itshorse. As you can see that
it is better, cheaper and faster to breed the bug your want with a random
low rank bug you catch out there. You can just go out there catch a random
bug and feed it some fruits 5-7 times usually, and then mate it with the bug
your want to raise to get a higher rank bug.
One thing I want to clarify is that I'm not 100% sure if mating a Rank 4
with a Rank 3 will give you a Rank 7, but I'm pretty sure it won't.
Another thing I want to point out is that, while the basic stats (health,
strength & defense) of the new baby bug will not be higher than its parents
when it was first born, but its resistance stats WILL be the minute it is
born.
I noticed that if you catch a new bug, if you're not sure if it is a high
rank bug by its name, just look at its resistance stats. Higher rank bug
will ALWAYS have higher minimum resistance stats than the lower rank one
noticeably. For example, a rank 6+ bug usually have their resistance
around 50 or higher compare to a rank 1 bug with resistances at 10-20.
