Iin time attack i beat all the colossi in t the ime attack but i only have five items the mask of force the cloak of force the whistling arrow the fruit tree map and the lizard detedction stone plz help me out

how to find the way in Shadow of the Colossus

When I am fighting the 5th colossus(the bearded one) in time attack mode I can't get him to hold still while I stab him in the head how do I get him to hold still?

Is there an easier way to get the extra weapons other than through the time attack modes?
