u can do it if u just at the gaia gate in any level you will find about three or maybe less or maybe more but there will be a a trick like u will have a certain time or do a special move but try it this helped me defeat dark gaia cuz he kept defeating me untill at the last chance i won so try it.

I'll bet that when your finished with Sonic Unleashed, you won't have all of the soundtracks. If you go through the game, when your on the map visit different villages. The people in the villages will give you different soundtracks every once in a while. So if you check back to the villages every so often in between stages, you'll get an item from a villager every so often.

When you are going through the Gaia Temple and you come upon the place where the village elder is lying knocked out that's when there is a cut scene and then you have to fight the Phoenix. It's going to start flying in different directions when it stops at the pillar then you have to go up to the pillar and climb it. There is a barrel full of water in the middle. Pick it up and stand at the edge of the pillar. Throw it at the Phoenix and it will dry out. It will go to the middle of the small lake thing. When it lands you have to start attacking it. Then after a few seconds the fire will start again and then you have to do the same maneuver again except that you have to do it twice the second time and then the third time you have to do it three times. And so on. If the egg beetle was hard then this should be a little harder then that but I got it on my first try.

A lot of people have trouble doing dashes. Well here is how to do it. When your running in werehog form, use the analog stick and push it forward a few times. Then to do a jump while dashing, you have to do a dash and then before the crater comes up, jump over it and then you know how do a dash so that you can get past the level where you have to run and jump over a crater.

In a day level, swing the Wii-mote during the starting countdown between "1" and "Go". If done correctly, Sonic will start with a Spindash boost.
