"Walang nakawan pare..." (Please don't steal) ======================================================================= I. INTRODUCTION ======================================================================= ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AUTHOR'S NOTE ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, welcome to my Suikoden 5 walkthrough. The last time I wrote a game guide was about a year ago. Anyway, I had changed the format of my guides to make it easier to go through for you guys. I am writing this Walkthrough as I advance during my second play of the game so the guide might get slow updates. The hero do talk a little more than the past suikodens. I mean, he has like a response to a lot of things so there'll be a lot of times when you have to choose from 2 responses. Most of the time, it doesn't matter what you choose though. The guide here should help you on those parts and on other areas of the game. I'll be using ambiguous or vague terms so you can still enjoy playing the game your way. I also wrote some quotes I find in the game. I kinda think it's cool. With those things said, Enjoy! If you want to contribute, comments or criticize, feel free to drop me a mail at gylisgod@yahoo.com (gylisgod at yahoo dot com). All game related questions that are already answered in the FAQ will be ignored. I will try to make the FAQ as search friendly as possible. With those said, that will be it for now. Thank You. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- REVISION HISTORY ---------------------------------------------------------------------- VERSION 1 (May 14, 2005) - Walkthrough completed ====================================================================== II. WALKTHROUGH ====================================================================== You won't be prompted to load the past Suikoden Clear File like it used to. When you start a New Game, you are prompted to name the hero of Suikoden 5. The option menu comes right after deciding a name for the hero (you can change these options anytime in the game). *I'll be referring to Hero5 as Hero in this guide. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sol-Falena: Sun's Palace ---------------------------------------------------------------------- After the long scene you'll arrive in the Sun's Palace. There won't be much to do here yet. Ferid will welcome your arrival and you'll be presented with choices. You can choose any of the two choices. It does not matter what you choose. The Queen will arrive a bit later. You'll be given new choices. Again, it doesn't matter what you choose. After the scene you'll have a flashback of Lordlake. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lordlake ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Items: Escape Scroll, Medicine, Sacrificial Jizo ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You'll meet Talgeyl here. He'll tell you what happened here in Lordlake. You will also gain control of your character. Familiarize yourself with the menu, and controls. There is a save point near the entrance of town. Save your game. You may talk to the townspeople if you wish. Head down the road and enter the Clinic. You will meet with the town's doctor and be given with another choice. Neither choice would affect anything other than the response of the Doctor. The first option is rather arrogant. The Doctor will treat you bad anyway. You'll exit the clinic. Continue to the next part of the town. There is a chest that contains an escape scroll to bottom part. Take it and try to enter the mansion to the left. You will be prompted with another choices. Choose any. Both option will have you check the inside of the mansion anyway. Inside, take the Medicine inside the chest. Exit to the other door and you will be treated with another scene. There's a Sacrificial Jizo there. You won't miss that chest's location so don't worry. There will be a little problem with the townspeople. Run all the way to the 2 men shown earlier. Talk to them. Both options would result you to helping them. Exit the town to the south and enter the Withered Forest. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Withered Forest ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Items: Medicine, Mega Medicine ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Before you start looking for random battles, let's play with the character's equipments a bit. Georg will be out of the part most of the time and it would be a big waste to not make full use of his armors. Unequip them all (maybe except his accessories). Give Georg's equips to Hero. You can give Georg Hero's old equips. He will still be good with not much protection from equipments. Georg is a powerhouse in the game the only thing he's bad at is with His MDEF. That's okay though. There's an armor you can get late in the game ate in the game that can boost that stat a lot. All you have to do is to limit the number of monsters Georg kills to like under 30. What you should do is put Georg in the entourage every time he joins your party. This will give more experience to lower leveled characters. Don't worry about Georg as he would be away most of the time. In the Withered Forest you get to fight Hairballs and Mad Dogs for random battles. Both monster drops Medicine1. Use the sort command in the Item Menu to combine Medicine1s. This will help you save inventory space. Now, cross the bridge and go to the save point to save your game. Move south then a little to the west. The road should branch out to two more roads. The road to the left leads to a dead end. Take the right road and you'll spot a sign post. From there take the south route for a Medicine. Backtrack a bit and continue to the right. There should be another road going south. Run south then right for a Mega Medicine. Return to the upper road and continue going right. You'll find a small pond there but the little boy isn't there. You'll later find monster ganging up on him. You get to choose on another option. Choose any, you'll end up helping him anyway. You'll be fighting 3 Ulse Monsters. This will be a really easy fight. Use Coop attack with Lyon and Hero and just have Georg and Lady Sialeeds to attack. Focus your attack on one enemy and heal if necessary. If you're fighting the Ulse monsters without Georg this'll be a little tricky. Just keep on using Lyon and Hero's coop attack on a single enemy. Sialeeds should keep on healing. Another scene will take place after the battle and the flashback will end. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sol-Falena: Sun's Palace ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Item: Dress, Refined Clothes, Scarf, Mega Medicine ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "True Loyalty means being able to speak openly about what you think is right and what you think is wrong." - Ferid ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The scene continues till the present and you be given another choices. Neither would affect anything so pick one. Then after a while you get another choice. Again, choose any since it does not matter anyway. After the scene you will be asked to look for your sister Lymsleia. Georg and Sialeed will leave the party. Explore the castle a bit. There's a save point if you exit to the south twice from the Audience Chamber. Go up the stairs to the left and enter the door near it. The first room is Sialeeds. You can mess with her maids a little there. Enter Lymsleia's Room and talk to the Maid inside. She'll tell you that Lymsleia went out looking for you. Exit this part of the castle and run to the other side. Run down the hallway and you'll find two nobles backstabbing Royalty. Kyle overhear them. He'll scare both noble away and you get two choices. Just pick one, Kyle will get answer the same way. Kyle will join you afterwards. He'll tell you that it would be best to wait for her in the Knight's Room. Okay, with another Queen's Knight in our party, let's make full use of his equipments. Unequip Kyle's armors and put it on Lyon. Equip Kyle with Lyon's old armors. Before going to the Knight's Room run up the stairs and enter the door to the far right. You'll find two chests containing Refined Clothes and a Dress. Run to the top floor to the Seal Room. You have to take the Spiral Staircase. Learn all three options from the Chief RuneKeeper. After doing so you may return to where you've met Kyle and enter the Queen's Knight's Room. The other Queen's Knight is inside and they will end up in a heated debate. Ferid will enter the scene. Kyle will leave the party afterwards. Attempt to exit and Miakis and Lymsleia will come barging in the room. There'll be a series of options presented and you can freely choose any answer. It will only trigger different dialogues and some are funny. You'll be then asked to check out the list of those who'll be participating for the Sacred Games. Kyle, Miakis and Lymsleia will join the party. Exit the room and you'll bump into Sialeeds. She'll join you after the short conversation. You should unequip Miakis' Armor and equip it on Sialeeds. She cannot equip her head gear though, but save it for someone else later. Exit the palace. You may choose to save your game on the way out. The Senate Hall is on the western part of the place. Before doing that let's find some treasures first. Move to the right for a chest containing a Scarf. Then go all the way to the west. There should be a Mega Medicine in the chest beside the Senate Hall. Take it and you may now continue on to the Senate Hall. The guards will be surprised with the number of the party. You get to choose from an option. Neither choice would make any difference. Enter the next room and the senate will greet you. Exit to the other side. Talk to the Official there and he'll say something about the clerk is on recess. So a couple more exploring should be done. Take the stairs going down and enter the room in the middle. There will be a scene there with the head of the Barows family, Salum Barows. His son Euram will grace the scene after a bit. Return to the Official again. He'll say that he had asked someone to get the clerk now. He'll tell you to wait a bit. Talk to the Nobles/Officials in the Senate Hall and talk to him again. It may take a few times to ask him but he'll let you pass after a while. Inside, you get some more choices. It doesn't matter what you choose again. Attempt to return to the Sun Palace. The bell will strike uh... afternoon and you get to choose again. Lymsleia, Miakis and Sialeeds will leave the party. You'll then be presented with another choice on what to do. Choose any. You'll be prompted to explore town anyway. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sol-Falena: Town ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Item: Bandana, Medicine, Mega Medicine ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sol-Falena Blacksmith Can Upgrade to Weapon Level: 3 Level 2 Upgrade: 300 Potch Level 3 Upgrade: 700 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Sol-Falena Trading Post Sugar 100 Potch Salt 120 Potch Soybeans 220 Potch Vegetables 520 Potch Fruit 1600 Potch Wheat 1600 Potch Rice 2300 Potch Handicrafts 1550 Potch Spices 2250 Potch Coffee 3100 Potch Tea 5200 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Sol-Falena Item Shop Medicine5 250 Potch Cheesecake6 240 Potch Sacrificial Jizo 5000 Potch Antitoxin3 150 Potch Smelling Salts3 150 Potch Escape Scroll3 600 Potch Sun Badge 30000 Potch Dawn Badge 20000 Potch Twilight Badge 20000 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Sol-Falena Armor Shop Bandana 50 Potch Leather Hat 600 Potch Feather Ornament 1600 Potch Forehead Guard 2300 Potch Full Helmet 3800 Potch Robe 750 Potch Guard Robe 1800 Potch Leather Armor 3000 Potch Bracelet 500 Potch Wristbands 1000 Potch Gloves 200 Potch Leather Gloves 500 Potch Mules 100 Potch Boots 1000 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Sol-Falena Rune Shop Fire Orb 6000 Potch Lightning Orb 6000 Potch Water Orb 7000 Potch Wind Orb 5000 Potch Earth Orb 4000 Potch Flaming Arrows S3 900 Potch Thunder Runner S3 900 Potch Wind of Sleep S3 1500 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ There is a save point near you. You may choose to save your game. Let's do some more treasure hunting before going to the Rune Shop. From where you entered run down the stairs to the right and head to the Blacksmith. You can upgrade your weapons to level3 there. Hero and Lyon's weapons are your priority; upgrade them if you have some money to spend. A bit south from the Blacksmith is a Training Hall. With the little SP you got from your first few fights won't be enough so there isn't much to do there now. You need SPs to learn new skills or advance a current skill a character have. You can also check their proficiency with certain skills there. To the east of the Smithy is the Trading Post. Their prices changes depending on the current market trend. Check the Rumors to see what's happening. Buy Salt here if you have a little cash left. We need a total of 6 for a future recruit. Go down the stairs to the right of the trading post then a little to the south. There's a Bandana in the chest there. You can explore and talk to the people in this side of the town. If you're done backtrack to the save point. Now let's explore the western part. Run down the stairs and you should find a woman in a white and green dress. You should spot a treasure chest there. Open it for a Medicine. Move a little to the south to another new area. There is an Inn, a Tavern and an Item Shop here. If you move a to the Tavern, you should be able to spot another treasure chest. Take the Mega Medicine inside it. Near the tavern is an Armor Shop. You may want to check it out. There won't be any useful armor yet. After you're done shopping, head further west to the Rune Shop. The Rune Mistress Kyle came for isn't there, too bad. You can do business after the short scene. Though I don't think you'd have any money to purchase any Runes yet. You can unequip Kyle's Water Rune though. Exit the Rune Shop and there should be a commotion in town. Kyle will run and check it out. You're presented with some choices. [1] I'll check it out too... [2] Okay, I'll wait The first option leads you to trigger a battle against 6 thugs. Choosing the second would not lead to any fight. If you picked the first option it should lead to another option... [1] Let's go break it up [2] Let's wait for the patrol guards to handle it. The first option triggers the fight so pick it. It shouldn't be that tough though. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Thug (x6) Battle Trophy: Medicine1 The thugs on the back row can deal a bit more damage than the ones in front. If you did what i told you to equip the Knight's armors on Lyon and Hero, you would not even need to use healing. Basic attacks would do. Use the Formation Skill to heal if you have to. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Return to the Sun's Palace. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sol Falena: Sun's Palace - Ship Going to Stormfist ---------------------------------------------------------------------- There will be a rather light scene here with the Queen. Afterwards you will be presented with some choices while talking to Lyon. Again, pick any. After the scene, Lyon, George and Sialeeds will join your party. There'll be another choice here and in the next scene, just choose one. Exit south of the castle and keep going south to the Pier. You may want to upgrade Sialeeds and Georg's weapons if you have enough money to spare. On board, the party would be talking to each other. Georg and Lyon will sense something and will take a battle stance. You'll be attacked by a lizard like monster. After the scene, it should lead to a battle against a Zadom monster. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Zadom Monster Battle Trophy: Medicine1 Fire Sealing Pc1 Breath of Ice S1 Zadom has an attack that makes your character go berserk. Other than that, it does not have anything worth worrying. It should go down with just basic attacks. Lyon and Hero should not have much of a problem if they have the Queen's Knights' armors equipped. Heal if necessary. You can use the formation skill to heal if you do not want to use any items. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Godwin Ships will come to aide you. After a few scenes you'll get to a couple of choices. Just pick any. Sialeeds and the party will end up suspecting Godwin anyway. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Stormfist ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Items: Old Book7, Double Arm Tactics, Medicine, Bandage, Leather Hat, Bracelet, Antitoxin, Leather Armor, Sacrificial Jizo ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "You may be quick, but it takes more than that to be a good spy" - Georg ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Stormfist Trading Post Sugar 95 Potch Salt 150 Potch Soybeans 250 Potch Vegetables 600 Potch Fruit 1400 Potch Wheat 1500 Potch Rice 2400 Potch Spices 2350 Potch Coffee 3300 Potch Iron 15000 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Stormfist Armor Shop Leather Helmet 4200 Potch Full Helmet 3800 Potch Silk Cape 1500 Potch Rugged Leather 7000 Potch Chain Mail 3500 Potch Iron Gloves 2000 Potch Boots 1000 Potch Iron Boots 3000 Potch Rare finds: Feather Hat 6600 Potch Ring Mail 9000 Potch Guantlets 9500 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Stormfist Item Shop Medicine5 250 Potch Mega Medicine3 600 Potch Sacrificial Jizo 5000 Potch Antitoxin3 150 Potch Smelling Salts3 150 Potch Escape Scroll3 600 Potch Bandage 50 Potch Jewel Necklace 1500 Potch Defense Ring 500 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Stormfist Rune Shop Fire Orb 6000 Potch Lightning Orb 6000 Potch Water Orb 7000 Potch Wind Orb 5000 Potch Earth Orb 4000 Potch Dancing Flame S3 1800 Potch Berserk Blow S3 1800 Potch Breath of Ice S3 2100 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Gizel Godwin and Marscal Godwin will welcome your arrival. There will be a choice there, pick any and you will end up exploring the Arena anyway. Gizel will join your party. Enter the arena. The route going south leads to empty seats. So move to the left. There will be a cut scene with the Feitas Dragon Cavalry. You can choose whether to meet them or not. You won't be able to meet them yet. If you choose the first option, they'll be gone when you arrive at the bridge. Let's continue. From where you stop, take the south route and exit to the stands. It should trigger a scene with Euram. You'll get to see a sparing match between Euram's champion, Zegai and Godwin's champion, Childerich. Georg makes really interesting commentaries. Anyway, return inside the arena. Exit from where you entered. Go down the stairs and exit the Arena. Outside, there are two chests waiting to be opened. One is in the north west corner (Old Book 7) the other one is a bit south. It's rather hidden. Just check the boxes near the barrels. You should find it. It contains the Double Arm Tactics which is a little better than your current Standard Tactic. Return to the Arena. Enter the Infirmary. And attempt to go down stairs to the basement. Godwin will stop you. Choose the top option to continue. Here you'll learn about the harsh condition of Gladiators. Exit the basement after the scene and exit the infirmary. Run past the stairs, then to the south. Take the stairs that leads to the upper floor. Godwin will tell you that this level is for the Royal Family and the Queen's Knights. You can save your game in the Prince's Room if you want. Go down the stairs and Sialeeds and Gizel will leave the party. You can now explore town. Outside, there should be a scene with an intelligent Leopard. Anyway, you can save your game here. Talk to the man with the red hair. He's the one near the guards. There'll be an option to choose from. Pick whichever. He'll introduce himself as Gavaya. Go to the south western most part of the town for a chest containing a Medicine. There's an Inn, and a Magic Hall in the western part of the town too. Move to the eastern part for a scene. Pick any option presented by Lyon and you'll meet Shoon. Shoon will tell you the reason for following you. Georg will suggest discussing this somewhere safe. Shoon will then join you. Before we go to that safe place let continue exploring. There is a Chest to the south containing a Bandage. Move to the 'New Part of Town'. There is an Armor Shop there. Move a little right then south, there is an Appraiser and an Item Shop there. From the Armor Shop, run a little left then south and there should be a Leather Hat there. There is also a Blacksmith there but he can only upgrade till level 3. On the end of the western part of the town, there is a chest containing a Bracelet. The Rune Shop is further to the west. If you're done looking around, return to the old part of town and go to the Inn. Shoon will tell you what he found out. You get some choices again. After the scene, fetch Sialeeds from the Arena. When you meet her, you'll have another options to choose and she'll join the party. The items that people sell here are almost the same as the ones in town. There's also a Trading Post and a Combat Hall NPC there. You may want to buy another Salt here (that should make 2 Salts already, we need 6). Compare the Sol-Falena and Stormfist prices and pick out the one you'll earn the most profit from. Buy those you can make profit in Sol-Falena. Return to the inn. And pick the second option to continue. Shoon will join your party. You may want to equip him with you any spare armor during this mission and remove it afterwards. In the sewer, there are snails and arrow bat monsters. Both have about 100 Hp and with the armors you have, they shouldn't do much damage. The snail drops Medicine1 that can be useful later on. In the sewer, there are locked doors that can be opened by stepping on pink squares. Now, step on the pink square to open the locked door. Proceed to opened door and take the chest containing an Antitoxin. Proceed north and there should be a scene there. Egbert will introduce himself. You'll be able to get him a later on. There'll be a choice there, just pick any. Turn left on the bridge and north to open the door north of the room. The other path here should lead to a Leather Armor. Go to the far end of the room and open the chest for a Sacrificial Jizo. Back track to the cross section (the one near the Leather Armor chest), the south path leads to a shut door and a save point. Save your game. Head south then west. Step on the pink square and continue to the door you opened to the Arena. Shoon will be leaving when you enter the Arena so you may want to unequip what you gave him. You can also do some more fighting here to earn a little more money to spend. If you're ready continue on to the Arena. You'll find the passage leading to the cell. Move to the other side of the cell for the next scenes. Pick the first option to run after the two Armes spy. Zegai will just stay there anyway. You'll then be fighting when you surface from the sewer. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Suspicious Man (x5) Battle Trophy: Medicine1 Nothing much to worry in this fight. Georg can easily take one enemy with one hit. Heal if necessary. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- After the battle, you'll be in a cell with Zegai. Euram will come running. Choose the second option. Shoon will leave the party. Exit the cell and the Sacred Games will begin. You will then be prompted for the ceremonial match. You'll get to experience the new duel system of suikoden. --=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=-- Hero Vs Shoon * It goes a little something like this: "Taunt" - What Shoon will do Go ahead and come at me - Guard *pant* *pant* .... - Guard So whoever moves first loses - Guard I won't let you get the best of me - Attack Don't think I'm not good enough - Attack I'll give it all I got - Special ...Full power... - Special Here come's another one... this time I'll do it right - Special --=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=-- After the fight, Lymsleia will enter the scene. Miakis will join the party as well. Run all the way back to the Royal Box. Save your game in the Prince's Room. There'll be a couple more scenes that will take place. More options in the scene just pick any. After Belcoot's battle, Lyon, Georg and Sialeeds will join you. Attempt to exit south for a scene. You'll meet Doctor Murad. Exit to the south. There will be a pretty funny scene there with Nikea. Head to the far western part of the town for a scene. Either choice leads to a fight. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Thug (x5) Battle Trophy: Medicine1 With Belcoot and Georg in the party, this fight is rather easy. Just use normal attacks here. You can use Hero and Sialeeds coop attack to damage all enemies. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Belcoot will join you after the battle. Make your way back to the Inn for another scene. Exit the Inn and return to the arena. You'll be back in your room. Return to the Inn for another scene. You'll learn that Marina was abducted. Belcoot will join you. Move to the New part of town and exit to the south east gate. Save your game there. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Western Woods ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Items: Goose Tactics, Mega Medicine, Feather Ornament, Silence Orb ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Save your game. Follow the path Sialeed opened. There will be a fork going northwest and east. Take the east to get the Goose Tactics inside the chest. The northwest leads to the road you should go and eventually you'll spot a chest there that contains a Mega Medicine. Continue the path that leads to the back of the hut. You'll be fighting 5 Thugs after the scene. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Thug (x5) Battle Trophy: Medicine1 Just use the same strategy as with the other thugs/suspicious men you fought already. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- After the battle, head south. Trace the right side of the road to get To the hidden chest. It contains he Feather Ornament head armor. Take it then trace the left side of the road and you'll get to another trail that leads to a chest containing a Silence Orb. That's about it here. Exit western woods and a scene would take place right after. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Stormfist ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "If death is my fate, then so be it" - Zegai ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You'll be back in the Inn. Exit the room and talk to Marina. Run down the stairs and talk to Georg. Return to your room to rest. The next day, Lyon will join you. Go down the stairs, Sialeeds, Georg and Belcoot will join you. Return to the Arena. You can purchase a couple more salt if you have spare cash. Go to the Royal Box to continue with the Sacred Games' championship match. Godwin's Champion Childerich will be up against the Kanakan Swordsman Belcoot. During the battle, there will be something very strange about Belcoot. Childerich easily kicked his weapon away and you get some option right before he delivers a final blow. [1] .... [2] Stop the fight! Ferid will stop the match if you pick first Option. Hero will throw his trinunchaku instead if you pick second Option. It doesn't matter which you choose though. Rush to the infirmary to check on Belcoot. Go to the basement to where Zegai is. Lyon will join you. Go to the cell where Zegai is. He'll explain everything he knows. He'll have this speech about his death and he'll be gladly accepting it. Tell him that you will not let that happen (i think it's the top choice). Sialeeds will join you after the scene. Go to the Queen's Room. Sialeeds will leave the party after the scene. The next day, speak with Ferid in the Queen's room. If you talk to the Lady-in-waiting, there should be a pretty funny dialogue there with Sialeeds. There are also a couple more things you can do before leaving though you're not required to do so. Anyway, you can Talk to Lymsleia and Miakis in their room. Talk to Dr.Murad in the Infirmary. Talk to Shoon in the basement. Talk to Norma (the girl with the leopard, Ernst). Marina and Belcoot are in one room in the Inn. Egbert should be loitering around the eastern part of the town. If you're done with the things you need to do, talk to Ferid and pick the 2nd option. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sol Falena: Sun's Palace ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You! 'Hussies'!!! The Princes orders you to clothe yourself, hussy!!!" -Lymsleia (talking to Jeane) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sol-Falena Blacksmith Can Upgrade to Weapon Level: 5 Level 2 Upgrade: 300 Potch Level 3 Upgrade: 700 Potch Level 4 Upgrade: 1500 Potch Level 5 Upgrade: 3500 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The next day, Lyon, Miakis and Lymsleia will join you. Make your way to the Audience chamber and Sialeeds and Georg will join you on the way. You'll be asked to accompany Lym to the East Palace, then to Lunas for the engagement rituals. Exit the Palace and there'll be a scene with Kyle. He'll be ranting on why he wasn't assigned to accompany you. You can visit the Rune Shop to get a first look at Jeane. You can equip the Silence Rune on Lyon if you wish. The blacksmith here can upgrade to level 5 now. Have Hero and Lyon's weapon upgraded to at least level 4. Try earning enough money to upgrade them to level 5 later. You'll need to make them strong enough for a certain battle in the future. Upgrade Sialeeds' after upgrading the two. Buy some more salt in the Trading post. You should sell what you bought from Stormfist here. The next trading post will be Raftfleet. You may scroll down to check on their prices and decide which one to sell there. If you're ready exit southeast. The exit is south east of the Appraisal shop. In the world map, you could level your characters a bit. Here's a nice little trick. Go to the Menu and put Sialeeds, Georg and Miakis in the Entourage. Run around a bit for random battles. You can reach around level 17 or 18 quickly. Switch one with another party member to level him/her up. You can easily have a level 20ish party here(and earning a little money/items on the way). The Armadillon drops Sunbeam Pieces, score 4 of it and have the Rune Shop assemble it for you. A Sunbeam rune is uber early in the game. The Gold Bunny sometimes drops Counter Orbs. The Hairball monsters come in groups. The White Hairball is the toughest so you may have to use coop attack to finish it right away. There's also a small chance of encountering a monster named Peckles. He most of the time drops Power Pc1, Marbled Beef and a Leather Cape. The Leather Capes gives a pretty good defense boost. You can always return to Sol-Falena to heal or restock on healing items. If you're ready proceed to the Eastern Palace. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- East Palace ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Items: Sunbeam Piece, Arrowhead Tactic, Glass Slippers, Cape, Cheesecake Sleep Orb ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Save your game. Keep going southeast and you'll spot a chest containing a Sunbeam Piece. A house in the west part has a chest containing the Arrowhead Tactic. Move to the north western part of the place for a chest containing a Glass Slippers. The chest due north east contains a Cape. From there, move a little to the south and talk to the Official, she'll give you a Cheesecake. Take the path to the right, the sleep orb should be on the end of the trail. Enter the Rune Room now for more scenes and choices. Exit the East Palace and head north to Lunas. You can access Raftleet and the Rotating Bridge but they can't do anything there yet. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lunas ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Items: Jewel Necklace, Defense Ring, Old Book 5, Juice, Water Orb, Magical Piece ---------------------------------------------------------------------- There'll be more scene and choices here. Isato will join the party. Save your game and continue to the right. You should go and meet the Oracle in the Oracle's Conclave. There will be a couple more scene and choices here. Unequip Isato's Sacrificial Jizo and Mega Medicine. Sacrificial Jizos are a bit expensive so this way can help you save a little. Anyway, open the two chests outside the Conclave. One is a Jewel Necklace and the other is a Defense Ring. Head down and turn right. The middle room has a chest that has the Old Book 5. Talk to the man inside the door to the left for a Juice. Then move to the lowest level for a scene. The first of two doors from the left contain a Water Orb and a Magical Piece. Take them and return to the Conclave for some more scenes and choices. Take the stairs up for another scene and choices. [1] We'll go with you. [2] All right. If you choose first option, you'll be entering into the Northern Forest. The second option prompt you another choice. [1] On second though, let's go with him. [2] I'm sure he'll be fine. If you pick first option you'll run after him. You'll spot Lun and Logg trying to get their hands on Lunas' Gold Dusts. You'll then return to the Conclave afterwards. If you pick second option, you'll end back at the Conclave and almost the same scene would take place. Head up the stairs and enter the door to the far left and sleep. Lyon, George and Sialeeds will join the party. Lymsleia and Miakis will head back to Sol-Falena. Lun and Logg will join you. The brown terrain outside Lunas has high chance of Ulse and Armadillon encounter. Ulse drops Boost orb pieces. You can use this chance to collect the remaining sunbeam orb pieces you need. Anyway, Head to the far south to Raftfleet to continue. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Raftfleet ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Items: Thunder Piece, Fire Sealing Piece, Silver Robe, Fish Badge, Mega Medicine, Sacrificial Jizo, Flowing Piece, Old Book 1 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Raftfleet Trading Post Sugar 55 Potch Salt 100 Potch Soybeans 300 Potch Vegetables 800 Potch Fruit 2000 Potch Wheat 1900 Potch Rice 2100 Potch Spices 2500 Potch Tea 4500 Potch Gold & Silver 57000 Potch Pearls 75000 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Raftfleet Armor Shop Bandana 50 Potch Raft Turban 100 Potch Robe 750 Potch Guard Coat 6500 Potch Leather Wristband 1400 Potch Kimono Socks 200 Potch Sandals 350 Potch Rare finds: Circlet 9900 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Raftfleet Item Shop Medicine5 250 Potch Sacrificial Jizo 5000 Potch Antitoxin3 150 Potch Smelling Salts3 150 Potch Cough Drops3 150 Potch Eye Drops3 150 Potch Escape Scroll3 600 Potch Fish Badge 1500 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Raftfleet Rune Shop Water Orb 7000 Potch Wind Orb 5000 Potch Breath of Ice S3 2100 Potch Wind of Sleep S3 1500 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ There will be a little scene here after that let's start exploring. There is a save point there so save your game first. Let's start with the one that is the nearest. Enter the Trading Post. Talk to Sairoh then check out the Trading Post NPC and do business if you bought something from Sol-Falena. You should earn a good amount of profit from it. Here are the Raftfleet Trading Post prices. From the save point move to the left for the Inn. There's a chest nearby it contains a Thunder Piece. Return to the save point area and head north then right. Enter the house and exit to the other end. There is a Fire Sealing Piece inside the chest. Backtrack and take the right route then north to the appraisal shop. Exit and continue to the next room. It should have two doors. Take the one with the red arrow pointing north. Move to the right then to the Rune shop to attach the sunbeam orb if you've completed one. Equip it on Hero. Exit and go to the Blacksmith. Exit south and continue on to the next room and take the left exit for a Silver Robe. Backtrack and take the north route to the Armor Shop and Item shop. If you go to the Item shop and exit the other end. There is a woman that would give you a Fish Badge. Backtrack outside the Blacksmith and take the route to the south, there are Mega Medicine and Sacrificial Jizo. Backtrack all the way to the room where you took the north door and take the door with the blue arrow to the Dahak. Head up the stairs and save your game. Go down the other stair opposite of the save point. Head up the stairs and go left for a Flowing Piece and the Old Book 1. Go back and take the stairs going up for a scene and choices. Logg and Lun will leave the party. Time to return to Sol-Falena. Before you do you should prepare Lyon, Sialeeds and Hero for a tough battle to come. Sharpen their weapons to 5 Equip them with the best possible armor. Attach runes. Level them to 19-20. Upgrade their skills. Equip the three with Leather Capes and Sacrificial Jizo. That should be enough. Return to Sol-Falena. If you're done with the preparations go to the Sun's Palace. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sol Falena: Sun's Palace ---------------------------------------------------------------------- After the scene. Sialeeds and Georg will leave the party. Head to the Queen's Room. Enter from the audience chamber. After the scene return to the Prince's room and rest. You can talk to Dr.Murad on the way, he's in the hallway going to the Knight's guard room. Rest in your room. After some more scenes, Sialeeds will join the party. Talk to Ferid and choose the 2nd option. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Assassin Battle Trophy: Medicine1 This one is an easy fight. Just use Lyon and Hero's coop attack. With the preparation you had. It should go down after two or three coop attacks. Just heal if necessary. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- After the scene save your game and head down stairs. There should be random battles here. You may use it to gain a few more exp before going down. Just be sure you're fully healed before you go down stairs. Equip Sialeeds with Clay Guardian and Medicines before going. She'll serve as the party's support. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Childerich, Dolph Battle Trophy: Prosperity Piece If you prepared like I told you this should be an average battle. Dolph is weaker PDF-wise than Childerich, but has better MDF than him. Dolph has an attack that can deal damage to everyone in the party. Childerich has a strong physical attack and has a nice speed. He should be faster than Hero and Sialeeds. Dolph and Childerich focuses on a weak front line character so you better heal right away. At the beginning of the battle, Sialeed should use Clay Guardian. This should pretty much lower the damage you'll receive from the two. Lyon and Hero should keep on using Coop Attack on Dolph. Since Dolph is weaker PDF-wise he should go down really soon. Lyon and Hero should focus on dealing the damage. Sialeeds should focus on healing and re-casting Clay Guardian. The battle should be a lot easier after defeating Dolph. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- After the battle, Kyle and Zegai will enter the scene. Kyle will help you escape. You'll return in your room and after the conversation, Zegai will join you. Attempt to exit and Sialeeds will suggest you to go to the Knight's room. You'll bump into Georg when you go outside and you'll learn about the Queen and Ferid's sad fate. Move to the the Knight's room after the scene. You'll be riding off to the Eastern Palace. The next morning you'll decide to go to Lunas. Georg will join the party. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lunas ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Items: Medicine ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "A sword not in use should be sheated. Otherwise, the blade will rust and dull" - Zegai ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Isato will join you when you arrive. Head to the Oracle's Conclave. After the conversation with Oracle Haswar go to the 2nd floor and enter the room to the far left to rest. Hero will have flashbacks with the memories the Queen and Ferid left him. The next morning, go down stairs and enter the room where you talked with Haswar. There will be another scene. Isato, Lyon, Sialeeds, Georg and Zegai will join the party. Exit left. Talk to the cleric by the save point for a Medicine. Exit to Lunas North Woods. After the scene just keep running to the right till the exit. Isato will leave the party afterwards. Head south east in the world map to Haud Village. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Haud Village ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Items: Power Piece, Wind of Sleep S3, Window Set 3, Cross Tactic, (1000 Potch), Boost Piece, Drain Piece ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Haud Trading Post Sugar 60 Potch Salt 200 Potch Soybeans 400 Potch Vegetables 590 Potch Fruit 1950 Potch Wheat 2200 Potch Rice 2200 Potch Handicrafts 1550 Potch Spices 2800 Potch Coffee 6000 Potch Iron 10000 Potch Gold & Silver 60000 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Haud Armor Shop Silver Hat 3600 Potch Feather Hat 6600 Potch Slit Dress 11000 Potch Silver Robe 4000 Potch Fur Clothes 3500 Potch Glass Bangle 8000 Potch Pointy Mules 560 Potch Glass Slippers 1200 Potch Rare finds: Magic Robe 13000 Potch Silk Gloves 12000 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Haud Item Shop Medicine5 250 Potch Cheesecake6 240 Potch Sacrificial Jizo 5000 Potch Antitoxin3 150 Potch Smelling Salts3 150 Potch Cough Drops3 150 Potch Eye Drops3 150 Potch Escape Scroll3 600 Potch Rose Brooch 6000 Potch Baby Carp 2000 Potch Melon Seedling 500 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Save your game. Run all the way north east to the Inn. There's a Power Piece there. There's a Wind of Sleep S3 inside the Inn too. Go down the stairs and run south. There's a Window Set 3 there. You can enter the Appraisal shop to meet the owner Bastan. Go down and turn left, you should be able to spot another route going down. There's the Cross Tactic inside the chest. You enter the armor shop and item shop. On the middle part of the town is the Trading Post. Be sure to get 6 Salt. We need them to get Sairoh to join later on. Run all the way to the south east corner of the town for 1000 Potch. You should see the other chest from there. Run around to get it. You can grab a Boost Piece on the way. The other chest contains a Drain Piece. Attempt to cross the bridge to the east and you'll meet Boz Wilde. Zegai will leave the party after the scene. Talk to Boz near the Inn and choose to leave. You can press R2 or the Triangle button to skip the boat travel scene. You'll then arrive in Rainwall. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Rainwall (HQ) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Items: (1000 Potch), Mega Medicine, Magic Absorb Piece, Silk Cape, Prosperity Ring, Fortune Piece, Wind of Sleep S3, Crescent Tactics ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Rainwall Trading Post Sugar 90 Potch Salt 300 Potch Soybeans 420 Potch Vegetables 700 Potch Fruit 1800 Potch Wheat 2300 Potch Rice 2550 Potch Coffee 4000 Potch Tea 4000 Potch Gold & Silver 59000 Potch Platinum 80000 Potch +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Rainwall Armor Shop Feather Helm 6600 Potch Full Helmet 3800 Potch Guard Coat 6500 Potch Martial Arts Garb 48000 Potch Half Plate 4000 Potch Bracer 2500 Potch Guantlets 9500 Potch |
