i talked the guardian of the shrine, but i never did see any orenian soldiers. did i do something wrong. if so how can i fix this so that i can retrieve the ring of the forest.

Did you walk forward from the shrine ? Because the soldiers don't come down to the shrine
unless you walk up to them.
