Help stuck in svalbard


I am currently stuck in the cell at svalbard. I have used pan's insight and found nothing other than the piles of dirt and the corpse. I have asked the alethiometer when Iorek will be arriving and recieved an answer and another prisoner has been thrown into the cell and smashed up against the wall. I am now stuck with nothing to do. What do I do next? Can anyone help me please?

How to continue


Talk to the guy who got thrown in then find his locket. You will need to dig in the dirt
to find it
