3)SKILLS

3.1)Cooking
-----------
The only way to increase this skill is to select study cooking on a
bookshelf.The more you study the more your food will fill your sim up
and it will reduce by alot the amount of kitchen fires. Also for some
carrers you need some coking points. You should have at least 2 or 3
cooking points.
3.2)Mechanical
--------------
To increase this skill you can either select study Mechanical in a
bookshelf or make gnomes on the workbench. Incresing this skill does
not decrease the time to repair a broken item but it reduces the amount
of time your sim getspissed of and gets up and stomp there feet whilst
repairing something.
If this skill is at its max on the workbench gnomes will come of very
quickly and worth around $100 each and they can make about 10 at a time.
All carrers require two Mechanical points and most require 5.
3.3)Creativity
--------------
To increase this skill you can either paint on the easel,sculpt on the
Artist block, play the piano or guitar. Many of the jobs require
creativity points. If this skill is high you can make a bit of spare
change and it can also make people like you more.
3.4)Body
--------
To increase this skill either use the benchpress,treadmill or swimming
pool. This skill has no use at home but in carrers such as military you
will need 10 of this skill to reach the top of the carrer ladder.
All carrers require 6 body points.
3.5)Logic
---------
To increase this skill either play chess or look through the telescope.
If you look
throught the telescope to long you can get abducted by aliens and return
with a completly different personality. This skill is only required in
some jobs. This skill is not really needed when at home.
3.6)Charisma
------------
To increase this skill you need to practise your speech in the mirror.
All jobs require at least 7 charisma points. This skill has no use at
home but you must have it unfortunatly.
4)MOTIVES
---------
4.1)Hunger
----------
To raise this motive simply eat food. The better the refrigerator and
cooker the more this motive will be raised by eating just once. Also the
more the cooking skill is filled up by the person cooking the more this
motive will be filled up. If you leave your sims hunger meter stay
completly red for too long your sim will die.
4.2)Hygiene
-----------
To raise this take a shower or take a bath and wash your hands when you
piss or do a crap. If your sim wets themselves your hygiene will go right
down.
4.3)Energy
----------
There are 3 ways to increase this motive.1)do what most normal people do
and sleep in a bed or nap on a couch. 2)Drink lots of espresso.
3)touch the bug zapper. When touching the bug zapper and getting
electrocuted it,raises your energy, but takes away your comfort. The best
thing to solve this is zap yourself then take a sonic shower or sit down.
4.4)Social
----------
This meter can be very annoying if you live alone. It takes ages to
fill up. If you live with another sim just watch tv and eat with them and
this will raise social. If you live alone talk to someone on the phone or
invite them round. youcould also talk to one of those random people that
ring your doorbell.
4.5)Comfort
-----------
Anything that involves sitting or lying down will raise this motive
(except for playing the piano).
The sonic Shower is the best item to raise your sims comfort.
4.6)Bladder
-----------
Easy to raise. Just make your sim piss or take a crap (best use the toilet
for this if you want to keep your hygiene)
4.7)Fun
-------
Let your sims play,dance,watch tv,read a book whatever is fun. Serious
sims prefer to read books while playful sims like watching tv,swimming
playing basketball e.t.c. The meet marco computer is the best item
to raise fun. If you cannot afford it try the plasma tv or the virtual
googles.
4.8)Room
--------
Broken items,trash,dirty dishes bring this motive down. Paintings and
lights when its dark bring this up.
5)Personality Attributes
------------------------
5.1)Neat
--------
Neat sims will wash their hands after going to the toilet, wash the
dishes and tidy up after themselves without you telling them to. My sims
never have any neatness points as you can tell them too or the maid
will do it for you. This way you can save points for other personality
attributes.
5.2)Outgoing
------------
Outgoing sims like to be with other sims and hate being alone. The higher
this is the easier your sim will find making friends but it also takes
longer to fill the social motive bar.Fill this bar up alot.
5.3)Active
----------
Active sims enjoy getting sweaty and when improving there body skill it
rises quicker and they get out of bed quicker. If they have little or no
Active points they will waste 30 precious minutes getting out of bed. Have
this meter about half full.
5.4)Playful
-----------
Playful sims like electronic fun whilst serious sims prefer to read books.
I would have about 3 points for this as the tv and computer fill the fun
meter up quicker than a book.
5.5)Nice
--------
Nice sims are just,well,nice. They like compliments and jokes and make
friends easier.I would fill this meter right to the top or almost compltely
full.

6)GET A LIFE
------------
CONGRATULATIONS! you made your first sim. You can spend a minute or two
loking around the mansion because alot of the items in this house you
won't see for a long time. When your ready join the person in the hot tub and
the first mission is over.
6.1)Money From Mom
------------------
Goals-Borrow $800 from Mom-
-Make dinner without starting a fire
-Fix the TV
-Get a Job
-Pay the bills(this goal comes if your still in the house when the
bills come)
-Finish House in less than 24 hours
This level is quite easy. When you wake up your in a small house living
with
your Mom. Try as hard as you can to complete this level in less than 24 hours
because if you do the item you unlock is very important.
Make Dinner Without Starting A Fire-As soon as you have woken up get your
sim to study cooking. Getting 2 points would be better for your sims future
but you can just get 1 if you want. When you got the cooking skill point(s)
click on the refrigerator and serve dinner. Hopefully a fire won´t have
started. If not you have completed that goal. If you do start a fire study
for another point or try again.
Fix The TV- Get yourself in a good mood(eat or use the toilet) and study
for 2 Mechanical points. Once this is done repair the TV. If you get
elloctrocutted Study for another point or get yourself in a better mood.
Once its fixed you should have completed the goal.
Borrow $800 From Mom- This goal can be completed in 2 ways. The first way
is too sell something of moms thats worth $800 or more. Resume play and
the goal should be complete. Be sure to buy that item back afterwards
though or mom will ask you for the amount of money it cost. The second
way is too work on your relationship with mom until its above 50. Then
get mom in a good mood and ask her for the money. Keep doing this till
you get $800.
Pay The Bills- This goal only comes if you stay in the house for a long
time. If the bills do come Mom might give you the money to pay for them
or you might have to pay them it depends. Just get the mail out of the
box and pay them the shouldn`t be too expensive.
Get A Job-You can´t complete this goal unless all other goals are complete.
Get your sim in  a good mood and click on the paper and find a job. Take
one of them. If the Military carrers in there take that job if not take
the x-treme career.
Complete House In Less Than 24 Hours- If you did all of the above then
you should have done it in less than 24 hours. In brief heres what you
have to do.
When you wake up study 2 cooking, cook dinner and eat it. Then study 2
mechanical and fix the tv. Press start and sell the big clock. Resume
play until it says youve got enough monet to move out. Press start and
buy the clock back. Get your sim into a good mood and find a job in the
paper.
Note: You must take one of the three in that paper to complete this goal.

6.2)Reality Bites

Goals- Clean The Place Up
- Fix The Broken Stuff
- Upgrade Your Abode, When You Go To Buy Mode
- Get Promoted To carrer Level 2
- Get Promoted To Carrer Level 3
- Complete All Goals So You Can Move Out
- Leave House In Four Days Or Less
When you arrive in this house Dudley/Mimi Says they trashed the place by
partying too much. They say you can stay there for free if you tidy up
the place and fix the broken stuff.
Clean The Place Up- just simply clean up the trash inside and outside and
the ash by the bbq grill. Once this is done the goal will be complete.
Fix The Broken Stuff- Make sure you have 2 Mechanical points and try to
fix all the stuff thats got smoke coming out of it. Also you must unclog
the toilet.
Upgrade Your Abode When in Buy Mode- This goal sounds very confusing.
This means that you need to increase the house value by $1,150.
Get promoted to carrer level 2 and 3- get all the stats needed to get the
promotions. The skill improvements needed will be in yellow. For some
jobs you may need a friend to get promoted to carrer level 3. If you do
ring mom  until she becomes a friend. Your relationship should be pretty
high with her already so it shouldn´t be too hard. Make sure your in a
good mood when you go too work or you wont get promoted.
Complete all goals too move out- Do I need to tell you how to complete
this one? just complete all the goals.
Get through house in 4 days or less- This isn´t as hard as it sounds.When
you arrive at the house clean the place up and fix the broken stuff. Make
sure your in a good mood for the next day so you can get promoted. When
you arrive home you should be promoted.Get the skills needed for the next
promotion and for some carrers you will need a friend. Just ring mom until
shes your friend. Go to work the next day in a good mood and with all the
friends and skills needed. You should get promoted. Use the money you
have from the two promotions to buy something thats equal to or more than
$1,150. Dudley/Mimi should come and invite you to move in with them.

When you arrive at this house it looks pretty cool. Big house, Hot tub
outside but you have the worst roomate ever. They won`t cook (except for
burgers),clean,
Build skills and THEY WON´T EVEN ANSWER PHONE. A person tells you it was
a mistake moving in with Dudley/Mimi and they were damn right. Get out of
this house as soon as possible.
Upgrade Your Abode- This goal is the same as the last time you had to do
except you have to increase by more money. The best thing to buy is
anything you need for a promotion like a treadmill,guitar,piano whatever
until it says you`ve completed this goal.
Get Pomoted To Carrer Level 4- Get all the skills and Friends needed and
go to work in agood mood.
Get Promoted to Carrer level 5- Same as before. Get all the skills and
friends needed and go to work in a good mood.
Throw A Raging Party- This goal is very hard. Make sure you and Dudley
are in a good mood and one day skip work and click on the phone and
select throw party, do this twice. Get Dudley to cook 3 lots of burgers
and order a pizza. When they arrive start eating and the guests should
start eating with you. Once everyones arrived get in the hot tub and
invite 3 to get in the hot tub with you. This goal is based on luck.
Sometimes the cops come and close the party down before its raging.
Just keep Trying till you get a message saying 'This party Rocks. Well
done'.
Move Out With Someone At A Pary- Pick someone you like the look of and
keep talking to them until they fall in love with you. Then click on them
and select 'Ask to be roomate' when at a party.
Finish House In 8 Days Or Less- Go to work with all the stats and friends
needed for a promotion. DO the same for 2 promotions. Use the money to
upgrade your house. Then do what a said to do for a raging party and when
it says its raging do what i said to move out with someone.
Unlockables- Get Promoted To Carrer Level 4- Strip Poker Table
- Get Promoted To Carrer Level 5- Master Suite Tub
- Upgrade Your Abode- Tree Swing
- Throw A Raging Party- Motel (2 Player)
- Complete House In 8 Days Or Less- Head In Jar Curio
6.4)Hot To Trot

Goals- Get Promoted To Carrer Level 6

- Score With A Party Guest
- Complete House In 8 Days Or Less
Finnaly, your living with someone who will do what you tell them. They'll climb
the carrer ladder if you want them too unlike Dudley/Mimi and pick up trash
unlike Mom.
Get Promoted To Carrer Level 6- Just get all the skills and friends
needed to get a promotion and go to work in a good mood.
Get Promoted To Carrer Level 7- Just get all the skills and friends
needed to get a promotion and go to work in a good mood.
Upgrade Your Abode- Buy something worth or equal to $2000. This shouldt
be too hard with a level 5 job and bonuses from promotions.
Throw A Raging Party- Do the same as in the level ´Party Animals` except
get your your roomate to server 2 plates of food (as long as they can
cook) and order 2 lots of pizza.
Score With A Party Guest- Find someone you like the look of and make them
fall in love with you. Throw a party and make sure He/She is there. As
soon as she arrives kiss her. Then cick on her and select ´Score With`.
If this works He/she won´t hear proposal because the partys so loud but

you don´t let it cry to long or the social services will give you a
warning. If it happens a second time it will be taken away from you.
If this happens you can always have another baby.

shouldn´t take to long as long as you didn´t take the military or slacker
carrer. When you have enough money you will get a phone call saying you
have brought a Yacht.
Throw Your Last But Greatest Party- This goal is probably the hardest in
the game. You need you and your wife/Husband need to be in a good mood
throughout the party. Make sure you have 2 hot tubs outside and a guitar.
Serve 2 plates of food and order 3 pizzas. Select throw party 3 times.
When they arrive start eating and the others should join you. when you
finish start playing the guitar. Get others to watch you. Get your
wife/husband in the hot tub and invite 3 people in. If you stay like this
eventually Malcolm should come and say to you that it was a great party.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you have now completed ´Get A
Life` mode. When its comleted theres a nice little movie at the end to
watch, but i wont spoil it for you.

1- A Fire Alarm: If you have 2 or 3 cooking points the occasional fire
happens. Also if you have rugs  to near a fire and a fire starts.
2- A Burglar Alarm: If burgulries happen (which is rare) the cops can
come and catch the burgular and  get you $1000 bonus (and the money to
buy back anything that was stolen).
3- The Workbench: If an adult is unemployed in your family they could
work from home. You could actually make more money from the workbench
with full Mechanical points than a level 10 job.
4- Alarm Clock: i know its cheap but be sure to get it. If you
oversleep the alarm clock will wake you up in time for your car pool.
5- A Bookcase: You need this to study cooking and mechanical. Serious
sism will also enjoy reading books from these.
6- Guitar: With full creativity points this can make people like you
alot. It also raises creativity quickly.
7- Chess Set- with 2 people playing can raise Logic,comfort,fun and
social.
8- A Mirror- Raises Charisma.
9- Treadmill: running can raise your body skils faster.

1) When starting a Family only have one person in it. Then when your
ready you can get married and have kids.
2) Dont have children unless your ready or you really want them. They
can be rather annoying. They can´t cook for themselves.
3) Have a bathroom for every member of the family. This way you don´t
waste time waiting for sims to wait to use it.
4.) Buy the cheapest wallpaper and carpet because they don´t raise
motives so it just wastes money.
5) Buy a aroma whipperpuff gold as soon as possible. They can:

room and put your sim in it. Put lots of rugs and a frieplace in that
room. When there in take away the door and get them to start a fire.
The fire should spread out of the Fireplace and along the rugs. Your
sim should burn to death.
Can i bring my sim back to life?

You can bring your sim back to life. When the Grim Reaper comes you
can plea if you have a living sim in the house. You will play Rock,
Paper, Scissors. If you win they come back to life. If you lose, they
will either become a Zombie or be lost for ever.

You can get your sim married. You need to find someone of the opposite
sex and get your relationship to 80-100. Make sure they are in love
