there are 2 reasons why: you entered the code wrong, you didn't do it fast enough.

or you didnt know that that code just makes lines on your screen to help lead you to the
objects. Each object has a different color line. Like Cogs have brown lines and Rainbow
scales have greeen lines. I didnt think it worked at first either, but Most likely, if you
entered the code right, and you did it quick enough then you did it right judt you thought
it would do something different. Next time you play check to see if you have any of those
lines. Make sure go run around a lot because sometimes there isnt anything in the spot

it actually worked i tried it. the arrows in the sky are really hard too see. (or maybe
because u got all thunder eggs and opals) just look for lines in the sky
