I am merely creating this guide for the convenience of others. Please note before you continue reading this that this guide contains spoilers for ALL the Wild ARMs games. Do not blame me if anything in this guide spoils the game for you. This guide is distributable to any and all gaming sites, as long as the content is exactly the same as originally found, and that credit is given to me. Informing me of your use of this guide is not necessary, but would be very much appreciated. =============== Version History =============== - Version 1.0 (4/12/2004) First version. Completed all sections. Possible add-ons to sections may be put up in future Versions. - Version 1.6 (5/1/2004) Fixed the weird boxing of the different sections and subsections. Put up forgotten copyright part at the 'End...' section. Added 'Evolved Demons' section. Still looking for possible evolved Demons in Wild ARMs 2. - Version 1.9 (6/5/04) Added in a theory sent in by Dalton of Zeal to the Theories and Unanswered Questions section. - Version 2 (5/23/05) Wow. It's been nearly a year since my last update. Well, that's nothing surprising considering how long it takes for other people to update their guides (Not to give any names, heh heh), but still... Anyway, I corrected a few minor errors (as well as some major ones caused by bad copying/pasting on my comp's part) while I was adding on a new the- ory from a sender who wished to be unnamed. I don't plan on doing any more updates unless new things or theories come up, or until I get my hands on the new WA's when they come out where I live. ============ Introduction ============ First off, hello! This is my first time contributing to GameFAQs, and I hope that this guide will prove useful to you readers. This is basically a guide to the mysterious Demons in the Wild ARMs series. Throughout the guide, you will learn more about the Metal Demons, their ways, and specific Demons from each game. Some of the demons I describe are really only demons in my own opinion, such as Nelgaul (WA1), Angol Mois (WA2), and The King of Angolmois (WA3) And before I begin, know that this guide can be used for any of the three games. =============== Filgaian Legend =============== (NOTE: This 'Legend' goes for the first and third Wild ARMs games, but apparently not for the second) Long ago, the world of Filgaia was a planet of endless green and blue. The inhabitants: Humans, Guardians, and the fabled Elw, had lived in harmony with one another for many centuries. The planet was not the decaying wasteland that people of today are striving to survive on. But, a terrible disaster struck the lands. Half-flesh, Half-metal creatures known as Metal Demons invaded the lands of Filgaia. So, Filgaia's inhabitants had no choice but to fight to protect their beloved home planet. The war between the Filgaians and the Metal Demons lasted for many years, and the great destruction that both sides caused stained the land, and soon, the green grasslands and lush forests were replaced with desolate sand dunes. The Filgaians won the war after pushing the Metal Demons to the Arctic region of Filgaia. Since then, the Metal Demons have never been heard of again... ============ About Demons ============ The Metal Demons who invaded Filgaia have quite a history of destruction and chaos. Their mother, properly named Mother, has lead all of them to different planets; not to conquer them, but to destroy them. The Demons last target (besides Filgaia), was the planet known as Hiades. Hiades was thought, by Mother's children, to be the Demons' home planet. Demons have a destructive nature, and feel joyous each time they kill something. Their lust for power and the need to destroy portrays their vile nature. However, the above does not seem to go with the plot of Wild ARMs 2. In Wild ARMs 2, Demons are creatures from other dimensions, and little is known of them. Like Dragons, Demons in Wild ARMs 2 were apparently pushed into the Filgaia dimension by a planet that literally eats away the life of other planets. One particular Demon, and the only Demon really spoken of in Wild ARMs 2, was known as the blaze that stained the lands. This Blaze of Disaster was known as Lord Blazer. His powers of destruction with flames devastated the lands, turning the green planet into deserts. All who opposed his fiery wrath fell to his powers. In Wild ARMs 3, the Demons are thought as myths, as was the case in WA1. Despite this, the Demons seem almost exactly alike with the first description in this section. However, there are a few differences between the two. For one, it is specifically stated that the bodies of Demons in WA3 are half- flesh, half-metal, and far exceed the powers of humans. Their nature leads to the theory that the widely-used weapons known as ARMs were created by them, which, incidentally, is true. Another of their destructive weapons are giant creatures, structured much like themselves, called Dragons. Dragons were powerful weapons during the war between the Filgaians and the Demons, and their powers of destruction can level mountains, demolish forests, and turn oceans into sand dunes. Like Demons, Dragons are half-flesh and half-metal. Long thought to be extinct, Dragons exist as today's ARMs. The fossilized remains of these Dragons are used to create modern ARMs and other weapons. Another majer difference between WA1 Demons and WA3 Demons is the information library Hyades. Though spelled somewhat like Hiades from WA1, Hyades is actually an electronic library storing the memories of the Metal Demons. One particular Demon manages to return to life after being downloaded from Hyades and onto Filgaia. ========== The Demons ========== --------- Wild ARMs --------- =-=-=- Mother =-=-=- As her name implies, Mother is the mother of all the Metal Demons. Resembling something of a cross between a female human and a partially-hatched cocoon, Mother created each of her children at various times during her travels from planet to planet (I'd assume she's been and destroyed more than just Hiades, seeing as she specifically says "Hiades was just my last stop" at one point in time). After she had obliterated Hiades, she and the Metal Demons with her at the time traveled to Filgaia, where they attempted to do the same thing as they did to Hiades. But she and her legions failed, and soon, they were pushed to the Arctic region, where they disappeared forever. Perhaps it was because of the defeat of Mother herself, in which afterwards remains of her body were scattered across the world and transformed into the statues of Guardians. =-=-=-=-= Zeikfried =-=-=-=-= Mother's so-called 'son'. Zeikfried is a powerful warrior, and an idol leader for the Demon Squad known as the Quarter Knights. Wielding his mighty Dark Spear, the Glumzamber, this blue-armored warrior seeks to revive the Metal Demons' mother. However, afterwards, after discovering Mother's true intentions and of the actual fate of Hiades, Zeikfried and the other three Knights had a change of plans. They betrayed Mother, and she was soon slain by the three Dream Chasers, Rudy Roughnight, Jack Van Burace, and Cecilia Lynne Adlehyde. Immediately after that, the Knights sought out to take over Filgaia and become the ultimate rulers. However, a brief encounter with his mother made Zeikfried change his plans once more. Controlled by Mother's conscience, Zeikfried led the Demons to try and destroy Filgaia. =-=-=-= Alhazad =-=-=-= Apparently Zeikfried's right-hand man and a long-time Quarter Knight, Alhazad is a masterful magic user with a cunning mind. His many experiments, magical prowess, and diabolical mind have helped the Quarter Knights for a long time. The existence of one of the Quarter Knights is due to his experiments. Don't let his animalistic appearance fool you. He is as powerful as he is cunning. Alhazad led the attack on Arctica Castle, defeating all but one of the Fenril Knights residing there on his own. His attack led to the reclaiming of the largest part of Mother's weakened body: her 'cocoon'. But helping to revive mother does not seem to be his true reason for being a Quarter Knight. Alhazad absolutely enjoys the thrill of killing, violence, and destruction. =-=-=-=-=-= Lady Harken =-=-=-=-=-= Seemingly a new Quarter Knight, Lady Harken is shrouded with mystery. She is as beautiful as she is deadly. Her expertise in Fast Draw techniques with the scythe makes her a dangerous warrior. Strangely, she resembles a female human both physically and emotionally. Then again, she was, in fact, a human at one point. Harken was actually the Fenril Knight Elmina, to be exact. She was turned into the scythe-wielding, menacing Metal Demon that she is now by Alhazad's experiment. Harken finally realizes this during a chance encounter with one of the Quarter Knights' enemies and a former Fenril Knight (also her lover), Jack Van Burace. Alas, Harken meets an untimely demise, dieing by Jack's blade. =-=-=-= Belselk =-=-=-= This hot-headed Quarter Knight proves to be quite a nuisance to his comrades. Not thinking of the consequences he may face, Belselk carries out his missions carelessly. This is made apparent by his reckless 'retrieving' of the ancient jewel of Adlehyde, the Teardrop. He and a large army of Demons besiege Adlehyde to take the Teardrop, literally demolishing it in the process. Always carrying out the Quarter Knights' dirty work, Belselk always tries to do the Knights' missions in order to prove himself. Perhaps his bulky, hideous physical appearance of a 'bodyguard' of sorts emphasizes his personality. His existence greatly hinders the plans of the other Quarter Knights. Thus, he receives a fitting end by the hands of his new replacement. =-=-=-=-= Boomerang =-=-=-=-= Belselk's murderer and replacement Quarter Knight. Boomerang is a powerful force. His great desire for the perfect battle somehow gives him immense strength, allowing him to surpass the powers of the average Demon. Because of his desire, the Filgaian Guardian of Desire, Lucied, has sided with him. Quick and deadly, Boomerang proves to be a powerful Demon. He somewhat resembles a ninja, especially with his dark outfit and deadly boomerang for a weapon. While not necessarily cold-hearted, Boomerang seems to feel no pain when killing. On the contrary, he applauds great warriors, ever lusting to fight greater warriors. During the 'War', he even fought against his own kin to satisfy his desire for battle. And his wish is fulfilled, by none other than a trio of humans. After the intense battle that he had been so longing for, he fell, along with the Guardian of Desire, leaving nothing more than his boomerang, with the words 'I'll be back' engraved upon it. =-= Zed =-= One of the Quarter Knights' lackeys, Zed is more of a wannabe Knight. He is constantly looked down upon for the job of Quarter Knight, however, and, like Belselk, seems to perform the Knights' dirty work. Though unlike Belselk, Zed is rather comical. Several times he is beat around like a cartoon character, and he uses the most ridiculous battle tactics and traps, showing his cowardice to his enemies and hiding behind different 'shields'. His 'noble' appearance, green hair, and odd skin color make him look even more ridiculous. However, despite his comical personality, Zed is the only Demon (with the slight exception of Harken) who can feel the same emotions that humans have. He cares for other living creatures, and has something of a sense of justice. Zed finally finds a purpose in life after being teleported to the abandoned town of Saint Centour during an accident in a Demon Fortress. In the particular town, he finds someone to care for and protect, a little blind girl all alone in the village. ----------- Wild ARMs 2 ----------- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 'The Blaze of Disaster' Lord Blazer =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= The Blaze of Disaster that stained the lands of Filgaia. Lord Blazer is a fiery demon from another dimension that sent his burning wrath upon the once green world of Filgaia. His 'Tiki Fire Demon' appearance greatly emphasizes his powers and the disaster that he brings upon Filgaia. Burning through every tree, grassland, water, and even creature he stumbles upon, Lord Blazer seemed to be unstoppable. That was until the appeared. Lord Blazer's trail of destruction was finally halted by the most unlikely person in the world. A petty nobleman's daughter, who's name would forever remain forgotten in history, stood up to Lord Blazer. This sword-wielding, magic-using young girl was chosen by the Guardian Blade Argetlam, and she was later known only as the . With the Argetlam and the Guardian of Desire, Luceid, by her side, the fought and defeated Lord Blazer. After the devastating battle between the two, the thrust the blade into the ground, and disappeared from the planet forever. Since that day, many have tried to pull the blade out of the ground, hoping to be the next hero, but to no avail. Finally, the sword was enshrined, and many people come from around the world to futilely try and draw the blade. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ashley Winchester/KnightBlazer =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ashley Winchester is a young man looking for justice in the world of Filgaia, always wanting to be a hero and to save the world. He was a Musketeer for the Town of Meria, bravely fighting monsters and criminals. A master of the Bayonet ARM and a recognized Gun Warrior, Ashley has high hopes of being a hero. He is chosen by a specially-formed squad known as ARMS (Agile Remote Mission Squad), along with several other people. But he was the only one to survive the knighting. During the knighting of the new ARMS members, a disaster occured. The new knights were transformed into monsters by a form of 'Demon Summoning'. Ashley was transformed as well. He single-handedly annihilated the former knights, and drew the Argetlam blade from it's altar in the Cathedral he had been knighted in. After drawing the Argetlam from the stone it had been thrust into, Ashley gained something he didn't want: the powers of Lord Blazer. The Blaze of Disaster's conscience resided inside Ashley. Over time, Lord Blazer's entity became stronger and stronger inside Ashley, until it was about to burst out. Ashley became the half-demon, half-human warrior KnightBlazer. KnightBlazer was the combined powers of both Lord Blazer and the Argetlam; a power so forceful, it could level mountains. Time and again, Ashley was at the brink of falling to the powers of Lord Blazer's conscience, but resisted as best he could. But Ashley's attempts at caging Lord Blazer were futile, as he eventually escaped by 'consuming' the hatred of humans. But, with the power of a united Filgaia, Ashley destroyed The Blaze of Disaster forever. ----------- Wild ARMs 3 ----------- =-=-=-=-=-=-= Janus Cascade =-=-=-=-=-=-= The infamous drifter known throughout Filgaia. He is known for his daring acts, fierce determination, skill with the Bayonet ARM, and most of all, his arrogance. If you see a blue-haired man wearing a red jacket, a black shirt, and khaki pants, then don't be insulted if he tries to show off with his Bayonet, don't worry about it, for this is none other than the infamous Janus Cascade. Yes, this man and his cronies, Romero, Dario, and Lucio (who has been recently found out to be deceased) has quite a bad reputation. Strangely, he has suddenly vanished, last seen heading to the ancient tower Ka Dingel. In actuallity, he didn't disappear. At the top of the tower, he fought his last two battles as a human. One against the infamous Scroedingers, and one against the newly-formed Maxwell gang. The three groups fought for control of an artifact known as the Eternal Sparkle. This Eternal Sparkle was in fact the Dark Spear of destruction, which supposedly granted immense power to the wielder. Janus failed to retrieve the spear, and was defeated by the Maxwell gang in the process. However, after the incident, three figures appeared before him. They thrust a reincarnated Dark Spear into his heart. He was no longer a human from that day on. Janus Cascade lived on as the Demon Knight of the Dark Spear, protecting the three who had entrusted the spear to him. He reluctantly followed their orders, biding his time until he could strike back. But, at the only chance he had to destroy his 'masters', he received something he hadn't wanted.. The three told Janus of their plan to use him as a sacrifice to summon the true wielder of the Dark Spear. Though the system used to summon the Dark Spear wielder had been destroyed, the download from Hyades was carried out. The true wielder fought and destroyed Janus, who was betrayed and impaled by his own blade... =-=-=-=-= Siegfried =-=-=-=-= The Blue Menace foreseen in a Baskar tribesman's dreams. This blue-armored knight is the true wielder of the Dark Spear (Zeikfried, anyone?). Siegfried was kept as a file in the information library Hyades, until he was downloaded, by three humans utilizing the power of the Yggdrasil system, to Filgaia. On his first appearance, he was nothing more than a shadow, waiting to take on physical form. The three humans who had summoned Siegfried brought to him the 'sacrifice', Janus Cascade. After disposing of the 'sacrifice', Siegfried took the Dark Spear, and began his plans to change Filgaia into a green planet full of Demons. The three humans were given three masks, that were the shadows of the Demons who guarded the Dark Spear, and were then transformed into Demons themselves. With his three followers by his side, Siegfried was ready to execute what he had been planning to do. Like the three followers before him, Siegfried sought to restore Filgaia into the green planet it once was. But he, as his followers had, failed, and was destroyed by the four Drifters of the Maxwell gang. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Leehalt Alceste =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= A former member of the Council of Seven and a previously renowned scientist, Leehalt is the leader of two other former Council of Seven members. He and his two other friends were known as the Prophets, and sought to rejuvinate Filgaia, while, in the process, turning every living creature into a Demon. Leehalt and the other two Prophets were part of a rejuvination project headed by the Council known as the Yggdrasil Project. The project was a way to rejuvinate Filgaia, but due to a malfunction, it did just the opposite, and destroyed the lands, along with the Filgaians' memories of Filgaia before it had been a desert. Leehalt dresses in white robes, as if trying to be a preacher of some sort. His conniving mind is full of ambitions--and vengeance. For Leehalt holds a hatred inside him like none other. One of his former colleagues, Werner Maxwell, had stolen the only thing precious to him, a woman named Ekatrina. Believing that Werner is trying to destroy his heart, Leehalt is shocked to discover that Werner is still alive. Ironically, Werner's daughter, and the leader of a Drifter group seeking to stop the Prophets, is constantly thwarting Leehalt's plans. Leehalt's plans are eventually carried out, despite that the Maxwell gang nearly pushed them to the edge of their life, and the Demon Knight, Siegfried was brought back to life. By the powers of Siegfried and the spirits of his three followers, Leehalt and the other two prophets were turned into Demons, forever left to follow Siegfried's orders. =-=-=-=-=-=-=- Melody Vilente =-=-=-=-=-=-=- One of the Prophets, a former Council of Seven member, and a seductive woman bent on eternal beauty. She, along with Leehalt and another Council of Seven member, survived the Yggdrasil that seemingly wiped out all other members. She, along with the other two member, still had ambitions of rejuvinating Filgaia, and became one of the prophets. Melody has a very vain personality, believing that beauty is the power that conquers all, and, incidentally, is very beautiful herself. Constantly using her powers of beauty to seduce men into doing her will, she manages to retrieve a key component to a plan that the Prophets are executing. It's understandable that she loathes a certain drifter known as Clive Winslet, what with her short temper. Clive Winslet, a member of the Maxwell gang, down-right insulted Melody's beauty. She and the other Prophets were turned into Demons by Siegfried. =-=-=-=-=-=-= Malik Bendict =-=-=-=-=-=-= One of the Prophets, a former Council of Seven member, and, to put it bluntly, a mama's boy. After narrowly surviving Yggdrasil, he, Leehalt, and Melody became the Prophets seeking to rejuvinate Filgaia. A masterful magic-user and an expert in different kinds of afflictions to use against enemies, Malik is cold-hearted, with a destructive personality. However, his true reason for being a Prophet does not seem to be to rejuvinate Filgaia, but to revive his late mother. Using the experiments of the Council of Seven as his basis, he created several clones of his mother, and now seeks to give them memories. He is later turned into a Demon along with the two other Prophets by Siegfried. Later on, a mysterious little girl grants his wish to be with his mother again. However, due to his bizarre Demon appearance, his mother flees from him, and ultimately commits suicide. Without any goal left in life, Malik becomes insane. =-=-=-=- Beatrice =-=-=-=- A Dream Demon living in the electric signals given off by the information library Hyades. Dream Demons are Demons quite unlike the Metal Demons that are half-flesh and half-metal. They can move around freely without fear of being destroyed physically, for they exist only in areas consisting of electricity, such as Hyades, as stated before, and even the minds of other creatures. Beatrice is a conniving, malicious Demon resembling a little girl in a black dress. She wishes only for a new, beautiful Filgaia with her as the Queen. In fact, she is the one who manipulated the Prophets to finish this plan for domination. Beatrice somehow escaped Hyades and got into the mind of a certain Council of Seven member. She corrupted the person's mind so that he listened only to her. Slowly, the man she had taken over became insane, and caused the failure of the Yggdrasil system, creating the Wasteland of today. After this incident, she moved on to a former drifter known as Lamium. She led him to a legendary tree (trees don't grow anymore in Filgaia) and manipulated him into starting a religion of sorts focused on studying Filgaia, and in the process, unintentionally helping Beatrice carry out her plans. She even manipulated a Baskar pillar into helping to stop a potential threat to her plans. Using the brother of the Baskar pillar and the brother's friends, she managed to stop both the Prophets and Siegfried from ruining her plans, just after ripping the Yggdrasil generator out of the hands of the Prophets. With the power of Yggdrasil, she created her own domain, the Nightmare Castle, where she resided until it was time for her plans to be completed. She hoped to destroy the Nightmare Castle for energy and use the Yggdrasil Generator to create her Filgaia. However, the brother of the Baskar pillar she had manipulated and his friends, who were a well-known drifter group, stopped Beatrice before she could transform Filgaia. ============== Evolved Demons ============== --------- Wild ARMs --------- =-=-=-=-=-= Motherfried =-=-=-=-=-= Motherfried is the fused form of both Zeikfried and Mother. When Rudy and his gang thwart Zeikfried's plans at the Demon Fortress, he is transported to the Photosphere, the very place where the Quarter Knights had betrayed their mother and left her to die. However, unbeknownst to the deadly leader of the Knights, Mother had survived. And, almost as soon as Zeikfried had arrived back at the Photosphere, he was attacked by her. Rather than killing her unfaithful son, she forces her conscience into his mind, and slowly, but surely, Zeikfried's mind becomes corrupted by Mother. Soon, his lust for power over all of Filgaia is replaced by Mother's desire to destroy all life. When the three Dream Chasers who had fought Zeikfried arrived at the final battlefield, Malduke, they discover Zeikfried's new intentions. Just after the Quarter Knight had fallen to their hands, Mother's control over her caused something spectacular to happen. The two were merged into one, higher being, Motherfried... =-=-=-=-=- Zeik Tuvai =-=-=-=-=- After the trio of Dream Chasers, they headed out of the Malduke control room and headed to the Malduke-Ka Dingel transport. However, during their return to Filgaia, this Demon attacked. Zeikfried escaped Mother's grasp on him just before the three Dream Chasers delivered the final blow. Somehow, he managed to transform himself, into a second, powerful form. The result was Zeik Tuvai. So the three Dream Chasers fought against Zeik one more time, this time during dimensional space travel from Malduke to Ka Dingel. The intense battle drew out for only a short while, and neither side had won. The new Zeik explained that such a great battle in dimensional space was dangerous, and they would all either die going through it, or die from the impact caused by Ka Dingel. But the Dream Chasers were spared, however, when the Earth Golem shielded them from the blast of Ka Dingel caused by the space battle. The last remnant of the Demons was now gone... =-=-=-=-=-= Monster Zed =-=-=-=-=-= Monster Zed is the second form of the wannabe Quarter Knight, Zed. After being transported from the Demon Fortress, he ended up in the lonely town full of monsters, Saint Centour. It was the very town that Alhazad had rid of all human life by sending monsters into it with his expertise. After wandering around aimlessly, he stumbled across a blind girl. Feeling sorry for the lonely, defenseless girl, he decided to protect her. Thus, he found his 'true calling' in life, despite his being a Demon. Somehow, he managed to gain the power to transform himself into a much more powerful form than normal, as Zeikfried had, and the result was Monster Zed. The three Dream Chasers fight this Demon (though he is an optional boss in the game). You are given the choice to spare his life so he can live a better life and protect the blind girl, or to kill him. ----------- Wild ARMs 3 ----------- =-=-=-=-=-= Dragna Sieg =-=-=-=-=-= After being defeated by both Virginia and her Drifter gang and Maya Scroedinger, he becomes a Dragoon (according to the WA games, a Dragoon can be a combination of a Dragon and a human/demon/anything, or someone who controls the power of a Dragon. In this case, he is the former) by combining himself with the powers of the Dragon-like creature, Fafnir. He attacks the Drifter gang while they fly away in their own Dragon, Lombardia with his new form. He is defeated, and falls to his untimely grave. In this form, Sieg resembles a dragon with a blade (the Dark Spear) for a nose. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Beatrice (2nd Form) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Beatrice transforms into the telekinetic form during both of your fights with her. She seems to be only the version of her in battle, where she attacks at full force with powerful telekinesis. This form of Beatrice attacks the gang in her own domain, the Nightmare Castle, and in the battlefield where her creation, the New Filgaia, evolves. She resembles something of an extremely colorful monkey, or even the Tranced characters in FF9. ============ Other Demons ============ --------- Wild ARMs --------- =-=-=-= Nelgaul =-=-=-= Cecilia's first boss. Nelgaul is the Demon that imprisons Stoldark in a book inside the Secret Library of Curan Abbey. For years, Nelgaul has kept the Water Guardian trapped inside the book, until Cecilia, the 'Innocent One' destined to release the Guardians from their shackles, comes along to free Stoldark from his prison. =-=-=-=-= Elizabeth =-=-=-=-= Elizabeth is the Dream Demon that haunts Rudy Roughnight's mind, soul, and heart. She chose to lurk inside Rudy because of his immense and pure heart. She manipulates him into thinking that he is alone in the world; a freak with no friends save for his grandfather, Zepet Roughnight. In Rudy's dreams, she convinces him to stay by Zepet's side, and that 'he' (Elizabeth poses as Zepet in Rudy's dreams) is the only one Rudy should listen to. During Rudy's crisis, where he cuts his own arm off to free himself from Zeikfried's grasp, Elizabeth's hold on him strengthens. But due to Cecilia's triumph over Elizabeth and her love, she managed to pull Rudy out of his dreams and back into the real world, assuring him that he is not alone in the world. =-=-=-=-=-=-= Demon Prophet =-=-=-=-=-=-= No relation to the Prophets of WA3. Demon Prophet is one of the many guards blocking passage out of the Demon Castle, Pandemonium. Wielding a scythe with great accuracy, he heeds the escape of Rudy, Jack, and Cecilia. Ultimately, he falls to the hands of the escapees. =-=-=- Shazam =-=-=- Another guard stationed in Pandemonium to block the escape of prisoners. He, like Demon Prophet, skillfully wields a scythe, and is a formidable (second) opponent for the three Dream Chasers. Like his predecessor, Demon Prophet, his opponents defeat him. =-=-=-=-= Angol Moa =-=-=-=-= The Ultimate Being created to destroy and recreate all life. Angol Moa is, according to his own dialogue, a Demon King known as the King of Illusions. He lives in what remains of the underground of his former castle, now buried under the Ancient Arena. In a book in Curan Abbey, Angol Moa is supposed to be the Ultimate Being created to destroy and restore all life, as stated before. Apparently he's not the 'Ultimate Being', considering that humans managed to demolish his castle and create the Ancient Arena without (seemingly) much trouble. And the fact that Ragu Ragla is tougher than him makes his being a supposed 'Ultimate Being' even harder to believe. ----------- Wild ARMs 2 ----------- =-=-=-=-=-= Protoblazer =-=-=-=-=-= Protoblazer is, as his name implies, the 'prototype', or un-evolved version of Lord Blazer. During the knighting of the new ARMS members ceremony at the Sword Cathedral, a disaster occurs, and demons are summoned from other dimensions. Apparently the Protoblazers can't take physical form inside other dimensions without hosts, as the every knight (including Ashley) is turned into one. Each Protoblazer resembles a hideous monster, and they all constantly slash through one another. Ashley slaughters each of his Protoblazer-turned comrades after he is transformed into one himself. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- 'Demon King' Angolmois =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- The Demon King is back. And this time he's a thousand times harder. Angolmois is (as his pointless little introduction sequence tells us) a Demon King who lives in the Golgotha Prison. There's not much I can tell about him, as he is never mentioned (in books or otherwise) in the game (and by mentioned, I mean that he was never spoken of at all. Even during the optional battle with him he isn't spoken of). ----------- Wild ARMs 3 ----------- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= King of Angolmois =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Again, the Demon King is here. Summoned by Malik to stall you for time, Angolmois returns. He is still as destructive as ever, and still has his 7th Moon attack. There's something weird about Angolmois in this game. If you set your PS2's clock to May 4th and talk to Armengard in Boot Hill, she'll tell you that Angolmois tried to be 'hip' and hung out with 'next-gen monsters at the club' to 'keep up with the times'. o_0 ================================= Theories and Unanswered Questions ================================= 1. (WA1) If Mother is the mother of all the Demons, then who's the father? IMO, since Angol Moa was so fricken' cheap, he could pass as the Demons' Father. I mean, he is the Ultimate Being after all, and he's a Demon. So if he's an Ultimate Being that's a Demon, then wouldn't that mean that he'd be even greater than Mother? So, though it's more of what I'd like it to be, I think that Angol Moa is the Father of the Demons... >_> Movin' along now... 2. (WA1) Are all the Demons children of Mother? 3. (WA1) How the hell did Alhazad turn Elmina into the Demon Harken? I mean, seriously... It's never talked about much throughout the game. They never really got too in depth on that one. 4. (WA2) How did Caina summon the Demons to Filgaia anyway? 5. (WA2) How does Marivel know Ashley? I mean, it's understandable that she might be talking about the Demon part of him, but how does that explain that she's 'known him for a long time' as she says? She even asks how Ashley could forget her! Well, really a non sequitor, but still... 6. (WA3) How did the Prophets still manage to download Siegfried even though the generator was gone? Seems kind of corny to me. 7. (WA3) How exactly did Beatrice get the Generator out in the first place, if she only exists in electricity? 8. (WA3) Is Balazs a Demon? If so, then how did the Prophets come across him in the first place? 9. (All WA's) This one is courtesy of Dalton of Zeal. He has given me permission to put this in this guide. "- Hyades is merely the memory of Hiades; the information archive being Mother's brain, preserved from the WA1 era. In there lies the memories of Mother, Zeikfried (since he is a backup file, he is "new" and has no recollection of past events) the demons and other things such as the cellular makeup of demon lifeforms, the history of the war, and many other things related to demons and demon history. History repeats itself too; part of Hyades wishes to convert Filgaia into a battleship to fight other planets (that would be Zeikfried), while the other part wishes for its own home (Mother/Beatrice). Yes, they are fighting for different reasons again. Beatrice is perhaps a "younger" version of Mother (think of her as an older backup file that never got to "mature" to Motherhood), and since she is a reincarnation of Mother, she possesses more "rights" than Seig, and can act without being summoned. - This one is weird, but look at the 7 Disasters and Tiamat from Wild ARMs 3. The disasters are nearly identical to Lord Blazer's final form (watch Disaster Fire's Vapor Blast attack), and Tiamat looks far too much like Grauswein. What I'm saying is that this "alternate dimension" that the demons came from in WA2 was connected to Mother/Beatrice and the demons of the original WA. - Remember how Irving knew of the impending doom of Filgaia? Remember how he somehow saw every event coming, and had a plan for everything that would happen? How on Filgaia could someone do that, you say? Well... perhaps he either had the -dream vision- of the Baskar people, or.... perhaps Beatrice contacted him through dreams to stop the threat of the Edgeworth Kuiper Belt because she saw it as a threat. Now, the monsters from the Kuiper Belt aren't demons; they are another outside force that threatens Filgaia; the Filgaia that Mother/Beatrice wanted to have her own! An encroaching parallel universe is certainly a problem that must be stopped, and why not stop the core by using a human that's half-possessed by one of Mother's servants; KnightBlazer? In fact, perhaps the reason Caina summoned the Lord Blazer was because she was contacted in a dream and manipulated by the dream demon Beatrice to do her bidding." 10. (All WA's) Another theory not by me. I'll refer to the sender as Anonym- ous, obviously because he/she wished for their identity to be kept a secret. Again, used with permission. "i came up w/ a theory to answer ur question: "How exactly did Beatrice get the Generator out in the first place, if she only exists in electricity?" well, remember how beatrice controlled lamium off-hand through dreams? Well there may not be enough info to back it up, but it's possible that lamium, or possibly another outside force, was manipulated by beatrice into ripping the generator out for her. now, i doubt that it's lamium and i doubt that an outside force was involved, but it's maybe beatrice used one of the prophet's lackeys (maybe balazs?) and told them to get the generator out for her and take it somewhere safe." ====== Thanks ====== This is just a list of people I'd like to thank, whether they helped me with this guide or with my own personal experiences.
