Though it is impossible to see what is presently ahead, start to the Save Point. Continue to the next area of Old Miltia. You'll soon automatically lock on to a truck blocking the path, though this can easily be removed by pressing the Square Button. Continue destroying the obstacles along the way. Chaos and Cannan eventually encounter an enemy A.M.W.S. Pay attention to the Battle Tutorial. Xenosaga Episode II is much different than Xenosaga Episode I. Continue through Old Miltia after defeating the A.M.W.S. Remove the obstacles but watch out for the trap centered on the path. Blow up the various traps with an enemy near by, and then quickly engage the targeted enemy in battle. The second familiar character will eventually arrive. After the curscene, access the Save Point. There are several obstacles in the area ahead which can be removed to obtain a Revive S in the Treasure Chest. Approach the U-TIC Soldier and read through the Battle Tutorial. After which, defeat the U-TIC Soldier. There's a nearby obstacle blocking the doorway near the catwalk above which can be removed to access Segment Address No. 14. Approach the U-TIC Soldier to be given another Battle Tutorial. There's a ladder directly ahead. There is a removable obstacle ahead containing a Skill Upgrade D. Continue to next area, but stick to the main path. You'll only waste a headache by attempting to access the sealed entryway. You'll be near the Ad Tower. You will probably recognize this area from Gamespot. Remove the obstacles, then continue to the next area, where a familiar character arrives. ~ Boss Battle ~ HP: 1000 SC: N/A Zone: N/A This is somewhat similar to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Monolith and Namco really start out strongly in Xenosaga Episode II. Start by setting on of your characters behind Margulis to give you a slight advantage. Keep the second character on the other side to prevent Margulis from turning around to even the odds. You'll want to be casting Boost preferrably quick through the duration of the battle, as Margulis is extremely fast. Stocking is also a necessity. Margulis uses Defense Enhancers when low on Health. Using the Stock will ensure a swift, but painful death. Margulis will counter-attack with Coercion upon Completion of the Boss Battle. - - - AC02 Second Miltia Access the Save Point, then continue through the southern entrance. Start up the staircase and remove the obstacles which are presently blocking the path. Continue through the eastern corridor, then down the staircase. Proceed through the channel and remove the barred gate at the edge of the channel. Descend to the surface below and ascend the ladder to the upper ledge. Remove the obstacles in the distance. Search for another ladder. Exit through to the next corridor. Following the cutscene, break through the entryway. Start by ascending the staircase. Continue down the corridor to the upper area. Exit to return outside. Start down the walkway and do not stop. Ascend the stairs. You'll eventually be forced into a battle. - - - Quickly start down the walkway and avoid the sensors which pass. There are plenty of side areas which you are able to cover from the sensors. Destroy the sealed entryway and access the Save Point. Use the elevator to access the upper ledge. You'll encounter a 0-88 Libra. ~ Boss Battle ~ HP: 3360 SC: N/A Zone: N/A Move your strongest character behind the Libra. Keep another strong character on the other side. There's some strong attacks the 0-88 Libra will have coming. You'll want to consider using Stock. This is a necessity in Boss Battles. The 0-88 Libra has attacks which can damage both the party and a character individually. Though the Boss Battle may be rather difficult, have MOMO use Stock x 3, then continuously press Circle. This will deliver significant damage. - - - Start towards the crane, then remove the obstacle of which is attached to the crane. The arm of the crane will then detatch, which allows you to cross towards the ledge on the other side. There's a removable obstacle ahead which can be used to deactivate the security grid. You'll be forced to battle an enemy. Continue down the walkway, then to the structure. A Save Point can be found inside. Start through the western corridor, then ascend the staircase quickly avoiding the mechanical enemies which are following not too far behind. ~ Boss Battle ~ Scutum HP: 4800 SC: N/A Zone: N/A Pikum HP: 3360 SC: N/A Zone: N/A You're eventually attacked by Richard and one of his subordinates. You'll be fighting Scutum and Pikum through very different circumstances. The 'Move' Ability will not be available, and their strength can be very overwhelming. Fortunately, these two are very weak in defense. Using Boost and Stock should be an advantage. Scutum will cast Medica on Pikum when Pikum has run low on Health. Due to this, Attack Scutum. Regardless, when one has fallen, the other will be simple to defeat. - - - AC03 Second Miltian City Start down the eastern walkway past Agent Bunnie, up the flight of stairs, up the escalator, then search for Angelina. Angelina can be found near Segment Address Door #6. Inside is a Treasure Chest containing Secrey Key 3. Start up the walkway to Moby Dick's Cafe. After several cutscenes, return to the Second Miltian City. Start down the eastern walkway. Once back on the Second Miltian Map, enter the Uzuki Residence. AC04 U.M.N. Control Center After several cutscenes at the Uzuki Residence, start towards the U.M.N Control Center. Start towards the centralized chamber. Continue down the corridor in the distance and through a set of doors on the eastern wall. Watch the cutscene, then return to the corridor. Backtrack to the previous area, then through to the eastern room to encounter Ziggy. Back in the centralized chamber, MOMO awaits in the western chamber, across from where we were at previously. You'll be stopped by Allen shortly before Shion returns outside. Start to the U.M.N. Control Center. Following several cutscenes, speak to Allen and select "Ready!". AC05 Subconcious Domain You'll want to start by enterring the House. In the House, start up the staircase and enter the room directly ahead to encounter Sakura. Exit Sakura's Room and follow Gaignun, Rubedo, and Albedo down the stairs, back outside. Access the Save Point, then enter through the Transporter to the Yuriev Institute. It's the U.R.T.V. Development Facility. Start through the southern corridor, and then follow Gaignun, Rubedo, and Albedo. Start to the Save Point, then down the south corridor. Descend the stairs into the Park. Proceed to the western corridor. Start down the one-way path until eventually a cutscene is initiated. After the cutscene, backtrack to the Park to initiate another cutscene. Start back to the northern structure. Proceed down the eastern corridor, then enter the first room which you cross. After which, watch the cutscene. Backtrack to the previous area and enter the chamber east of the Save Point. Access the Save Point at the Gas Station. In this part of the Subconcious Domain, You'll want to follow Gaignun, Albedo, and Rubedo to the Beach. Follow the eastern path to a Cabin. This is also destructible which reveals a Forbidden Device. It's an Encephalon Dive Device. Continue east to the next area. You'll then have a choice of three different paths that you can choose from. Start down the eastern stump. then take the closest path following the river to a destructible tree. This will create a path across the river. Continue along the path to a tree which can be found by the river. This is destructible, so it's always a nice idea to have one more way to cross the river. Now back up to the only nearby path that we haven't explored yet. This next part took me a while too. Get rid of the enemy within this area so it doesn't become a problem. There is a destructible at the western edge of this area. Make sure you did not destroy any of the boulders in the river. Destroy the stump to access a Save Point. A Treasire Chest can be found in the distance containing Antidote L x 2. Destroy the tree to create a bridge across the river. Follow the path to the next area. There's nothing in the lower chasm. You can follow the trail out to another area, where a Boost Max awaits behind a Boulder. In the other direction, a crack on the side of the rock can be destroyed, to access the area which previously seemed as though this was a dead-end. Be careful crossing the fallen stumps. This should be obcious stump to cross. There's a destructible tree nearby. Destroy it, start through the bushes, then fall to obtain the Boost Max from the Treasure Chest. You're soon forced into a battle from which I thought we were invisible. After which, more of these annoying enemies will appear all throughout this Subconcious World. Continue to the next area. ~ Boss Battle ~ HP: 5760 SC: N/A Zone: C C B B This is somewhat similar to the previous battles we've been fighting near the Windmills. Only our Boss has much more Health, Agility, and Strength. You'll definitely want to considering Stocking or Boosting. Send your strongest character behind it to deliver maximum damage efficiently. Moving one character behind also avoids several attacks which damage all characters at once. You'll eventually find that some situations are nearly impossible. If this is the scenario then I would suggest levelling up. - - - After an agonizing Boss Battle, we arrive back at the Yuriev Institute. Head down the eastern corridor through the doors. Start through the park, start towards the east path to initiate a cutscene. Follow the three further into the park. Watch Albedo's cutscene. Return to the main path and start west. Head to the northern building into the central chamber. You'll arrive back at the Gas Station. Same as last time, start towards the Beach. The path is the same a previously. A Bio Sphere can be obtained in the Treasure Chest shortly after crossing the river. You'll eventually arrive in the area before the Windmills, but the next area aren't Windmills. Instead, start down the central path, cross the fallen stump, then ascend the cliff. Cross the next fallen stump, then continue down the cliff. Cross the central stump, then follow the path to reach the Beach. ~ Boss Battle ~ HP: 7580 SC: N/A Zone: B C C B For those who have beaten Xenosaga Episode I, Albedo is extremely quick and powerful. Unfortunately, Albedo has much more Strength than when we fought him in Episode I. You'll be lucky if you're able to deliver more than 50 Damage to Albedo. Stock your characters and Boost to Maximum, in a short while, Albedo will briefly lose his arms. This is when you'll want to head all out on Albedo. Don't waste time. He'll regain his arms momentarily. You'll probably laugh when you've defeated Albedo, as he is much easier than Episode I. When you've cleared almost half of Albedo's Health, he'll erase the Status Window. This makes is nearly impossible to see a certain character's HP / EP. When low on Health, Albedo uses one attack which if you're lucky, won't kill all the characters on the field. - - - Watch the cutscene, then insert Disk 2 of Xenosaga Episode II. Exit Shion's Room and start down the eastern corridor. Enter through the door next to the Realian, Steinbock. Speak to Allen, and then return to Shion's Room. Return to the Communications Room once Shion has awoken. Start back towards Shion's Room, then to the western corridor. Use the elevator to reach the lower corridor. BC01 Dammerung You'll be fighting enemies alone on the Dammerung. The odds of success are probably greatly stacked against Shion. Fortunately, Shion can deliver some immense damage in the Dammerung. The path to the Research Lab is straight-forward. You'll eventually come to a very large area with a few different ways to go. You'll want to access the Save Point, then start through central corridor. The western corridor is destructible. There is a Decoder 18 in the Treasure Chest. Return to the previous area, then through the door on the northern wall. Search through each of the several rooms in this area to find Segment Address 7, several various enemies, and tons of empty crates. The Research Block is in Room H.. However it's locked from the inside. Return to the previous area. Through the central area behind some large crates is a ladder. There is a cannon at the top of the ladder. Press the button on the cannon to destroy the crate. You would have to have correct timing to destroy the crate. There's another cannon on the other side. Allen says that it's not a good idea, but this needs to be done to get anywhere further in the story. Return back to the area below to pick up the object that dropped. Start through the newly accessed door to the catwalk area. Destroy the catwalk to create a ramp to reach the area above. Obtain the Bio Sphere from the crate, then exit through the northern door. Climb down the ladder and go nuts on destroying all the crates to reveal a Segment Address 1. Examine the console to reset the blocks. You'll now need to create a path which is extrenely difficult to put into text, but I'll do the best I can. Start towards the furthers crate, then destroy the one directly in front of you. Break the left crate three times. Break the crate directly left three times. Locate the southern block and destroy it until it should be level with Shion. You should then be able to stand on the northern side of the blue block. Proceed down the ladder to the crate west of the blue block which is on the surface. Destroy the two crates ahead, then you should be directly in front of the column with the blue block on top. Destroy one block then return up the ladder. Backtrack to the blue block, then destroy the block west of the blue block once. Keep in mind where the column to your left is at. There is a block which lies in front of the one column we need to access, so remove it. You should now be able to access that column with the blue block on top. Remove one block, then return to the top. Step on to the blue block, then destroy the northern block once. Head forward so we're now against the wall. Destroy the western block until it's level with Shion, then return down the ladder to the surface. Step against the wall of blue blocks and destroy all the six blocks that should be directly north of you. Do not destroy the two blocks against the wall. Destroy the western block under the blue block once to create the path. Enter the next area and head south. Ascemd the stairs, then return to the upper level of the Dock. Continue east, then examine the terminal to initiate a cutscene. You'll be able to activate the elevator. This will allow you to access the Save Point below. Enter the next area, then descend the stairs. There's several different directions were able to go, but we don't want to get off until we see the number seven. Once you see the number seven, drop to the area below. Take the conveyer belt north, Keep pressing the down button on the Analog Stick to move slowly along the conveyer belt. You'll see the number seven on the left hand side. When you see the numbers three, four, and seven, step to the western conveyer belt, then towards the eastern conveyer belt to drop into that one area we've been searching for. This is area number four, which has been locked in the area below. Unlock the door so we don't have to try all that again. Descend the stairs, destroy the crates, then ascend the stairs. Desroy some more crates, then start ascending the stairs once again to reach the Research Lab. Continue through the corridor, then down the staircase. Destoy the destructibles along the way. Continue through the door to the next area, and then into the ridiculously large room. Destroy the three crates starting from the left side, but leave the fourth. Stand in the north- western section of the platform. This will now make the platform slant allowing you to access the platform in the south-eastern section. Continue through the door to the next area and use the Save Point. Start towards the fan, while defeating the two enemies along the way. You'll only be able to get so close to the fan. You'll have to stick close to the structure in the center to avoid the strong gusts of wind. From there, deactivate the switch to turn off the fan. Ascend the ladder and use the elevator to access the area above. This should initiate a cutscene. ~ Boss Battle ~ HP: 2720 SC: N/A Zone: N/A This isn't much of a Boss Battle. The Battle Music changed from Battle Music to Boss Music, so I'd suppose a strategy is needed. There's two of them and they are a bit tougher than those which look alike. These ones have more Health, Strength, and Defense. I'd suggest using Stock, Boosts, then send every available attack towards the two. Regardless.. You should be able to defeat them in a very small amount of time with little work needed. - - - Head through the northern door to arrive in the Research Lab's Inner Area. Approach the shuttle to initiate a cutscene. BC02 Elsa Head up the staircase to the bridge to speak with Cpt. Matthews and everybody else. Speak to Matthews when you're ready to depart for Old Miltia. Watch the cutscene as the Elsa makes it's way to Old Miltia. - - - To Be Continued... CR01 Credits The Credits Section will become available soon before the Final Version is released. |
