June 15th, 2010: Updated info about the release date

1. Introduction
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift is the newest installation of the series
and also the sequel of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. This game was released
for the Taito Type X2 arcade system on November 20th, 2009. It features
two new characters and also one replacement. Tsubaki and Hazama as new
characters and ^-11(Lambda) as a replacement for V-13(Nu).
The whole game got rebalanced with some new moves and some moves were
removed. The moves with changes can be seen with an asterisk. Also
new moves are marked with asterisk. Famitsu has annouced this game for
PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 8th, 2010 and it will feature
a new and exclusive character u-12(Mu) for both consoles. It was released
in July 1st, 2010 in Japan, the US version came out in July 27th, 2010
and it was also announced in Europe, which comes out in October, 2010.
The home version has Legion Mode from PSP included, a Tutorial mode, also
a Challenge mode much better than Super/Street Fighter IV, DLCs and revamped
version of the stages.
DLC (download content) confirmed. Makoto is the first DLC char available,
Rachel's butler: Valkenhayn is the 2nd DLC char and Platinum will be the last.
In Aksys FAQ about BBCS says the DLC chars will have an auto patch to play
AGAINST them, but to play as them you'll have to buy the DLC. Its also stated
that Nu is the Unlimited Version of Lambda and she WILL NOT have a new story
in BBCS. It was also said the DLC chars will come later to arcade and
they can be played in ranked matches too.
It was announced the update for arcades, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II. It will
have the DLC chars on there and was showed at the 48th Amusement Machine
Show which was available on September 9th to September 11th. The game will have
a rebalance overall and later the console version will get the rebalance patch.
In Calamity Trigger just the bosses (except Hakumen) had Astral Heat in the
arcade version, everybody got their own in the console version.
Now everybody in the arcade version have Astral Heats.
Also, if you're in a hurry and want to browse a char, use the system-wide
abreviations, common to all characters like: [TG] for Tager, [BA] for Bang,
[HZ] for Hazama and etc, it'll help you a lot.

2. Conditions for Astral Heat
The conditions to trigger an Astral Heat now have changed.
A) Requires one more round to win(match point)
B) Requires 100% of your Heat Gauge
C) opponent's life is below 35%(the lifebar will get orange colored)
D) Have at least one Burst Icon left
PS: Hakumen doesn't use HG, he uses Magatama, so he needs all 8
magatama slots to perform his Astral Heat.
