Ahhh, the section you (most likely) scrolled down to before reading anything
else. Well, here is the complete listing of all the trophies and acheivements
for both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Not only the listing, but also some
information about how to obtain them and what type of trophy or achievement it
is.
While reading through my guide you may come across some terms that should be
known before hand:
PS3 - Sony Playstation 3
360 - Microsoft Xbox 360
GP - Gamer Points, the worth of a 360 achievement
Platinum - The trophy exclusive to the PS3 that is award when all other
trophies are obtained

duel, its the trickiest part. Stick to the row of three windows on the right
side of the room, because the sniper has to break the pane of glass before he

trophies/achievements. Take the left path when asked, and just stay low and
never stop in one place.

mission, but I find it not so difficult. When you come upon the last part with
the tunnel and mortar pit, just chuck all of you smoke grenades in and run in
with your flamethrower blazing.

Complete the fourteenth mission on veteran difficulty. This is one of the
hardest scripted missions in videogames, all I can tell you is that there are
two panzerschrecks in the mission.

Complete 'Downfall' on Veteran difficulty. (Solo only)

Guide:
Complete the fifteenth and final mission on veteran. The beginning is the
toughest. Stay prone and pick off some of the more elevated enemies before
making a run for cover. Once against cover, stay prone and crawl to the left
path.

XVI. Saved Private Ryan [0020]

Description:
Save the soldier before he burns to death.
Trophy Type: Bronze

Mission Obtained: Semper Fi
Difficulty: Easy
Guide:
In the beginning of Semper Fi, the first mission, a Japanese soldier that is on
fire will come running out of a hut and start attacking Private Ryan. Kill the
Japanese soldier before the fire spreads onto Private Ryan.

XVII. Weapon of Mass Destruction [0021]

Description:
Radio in a naval bombardment that kills at least 4 Japanese soldiers.
Trophy Type: Bronze
Achievement GP: 15
Mission Obtained: Little Resistance
Difficulty: Easy
Guide:
Once the game allows you to use the naval bombardment, use it at the first mass
encounter and you should get it. If you don't get it with the first encounter,
try it on another.

XVIII. Lights Out! [0022]

Description:
In 'Black Cats', blast out all of the spot lights in the Japanese cargo convoy.
(Solo only)
Trophy Type: Bronze

Mission Obtained: Black Cats
Difficulty: Easy
Guide:
In the beginning of Black Cats, when attacking the cargo convoy, shoot out the
spot lights on the ends of the ships with the machine guns.

XIX. Rough Economy [0023]

Description:
Kill 3 enemies with a single round.
Trophy Type: Bronze
Achievement GP: 15
Mission Obtained: Any
Difficulty: Hard
Guide:
This trophy/achievement is most possible to happen when firing a bolt action
rifle, and a scope helps. I acquired the trophy/achievement at the end of
Vendetta when Reznov tells you not to fire or it will give away your position,
whatever. Shoot at the Germans lined up against the dirt mound. Also, this
trophy can be acquired while playing Nazi Zombies, which is unlocked after
completing the story on any difficulty.

XX. Guardian Angel [0024]

Description:
In the final battle for Okinawa, save Sergeant Roebuck.
Trophy Type: Bronze
Achievement GP: 10
Mission Obtained: Breaking Point
Difficulty: Easy
Guide:
This is a strange trophy/achievement, you can die while saving Sergeant Roebuck
and still obtain the trophy/achievement. You can run up to the Japanese
soldiers and knife one and shoot the other (because the game takes your gun
away), but you will die due to a grenade that is scripted to go off. Or, you
can wait for the game to give you your gun back and shoot the Japanese soldiers
from the walkway.

XXI. Close Shave [0025]

Description:
Survive a banzai attack. (Solo only)

Guide:
Let a banzai attacker pin you down and follow the in-game instructions to
overcome the attacker.

XXII. Snake in the Grass [0026]

Description:
Take out a Japanese soldier lying in wait in the grass.

Guide:
When you come upon a seemingly dead group of Japanese soldiers in Semper Fi,
shoot them because they are playing dead.

XXIII. No Safe Place [0027]

Description:
Burn an enemy out of a tree with the flamethrower in 'Hard Landing'.

Guide:
When running through the open area there is one tree in the middle with a
Japanese soldier in it, take your flame throwing and burn him out.

When staring into the face of adversity, show courage and persevere.

Description:
Kill 15 enemies while mounted on a tank in 'Ring of Steel'.

Guide:
At the end of Ring of Steel when the Germans are retreating through the
streets, run up to the side of a tank and hold the action button to mount the
machine gun. The rest is easy...

XXVI. Mortar-dom [0030]

Description:
Kill 8 Japanese with thrown mortars in 'Breaking Point.
Trophy Type: Bronze

Guide:
When you come upon the mortar pits in Breaking Point, there will be ammo crates
with the option to throw a mortar. Go up to one of these crates and just keep
lobbing the mortars until you kill eight Japanese soldiers with them.

XXVII. Shot in the Dark [0031]

Description:
Kill 10 enemies while the lights are out in the subway in 'Eviction'.
Trophy Type: Bronze

Guide:
When you reach the subway, the lights will go out every 30 seconds. Wait for
the lights to go out, and go rambo on the Germans. Reznov will also hint that
the lights are out when he says "Shhhh".

Description:
Complete a 4-player Competitive Co-Op match in 1st place. (Online co-op Only)

Guide:
Play a 4-player Competitive Co-op mission, there must be four players, and
just try to rack up the most points by the time the mission ends.

XXXV. The Professional [0039]

Description:
Shoot all of Amsel's henchmen, including their attack dog, without reloading.
(Solo only)
Trophy Type: Silver
Achievement GP: 15
Mission Obtained: Vendetta
Difficulty: Medium
Guide:
In the beginning you must shoot all seven Germans and one dog with on five
round in your scoped Mosin Nagant, and no reloading even if your clip still has
any rounds left. First, shoot the two Germans on the stairs, one bullet is all
it takes. Then, shoot the two Germans against the car, one bullet again. Next,
shoot the Germans against the car on the left, one bullet each. Finally, a
German will come running out to look at the dead along with an attack dog. Move
to the small hole in the left of the fountain. For a split second the dog will
look to its right, aligning its head up with the German's shoulder. Fire, and
you should get the trophy/achievement.

Well I did it first time using your guide, only I realised I had left the shot
where you kill the german and the dog with 1 shot too late.
So I waited for the dog to run at me, knifed it, and used my 1 remaining bullet
on the german and I got the trophey.

Ok, well we've just been trying to get this trophy and my mate Rob found an
easier way than waiting for that moment with the dog.
After you have killed the first 6 guys, 2 guys on the right with 1 shot, 2 in
the middle with one and the 2 on the left with one shot each. You then wait for
the guy to come out with the dog, wait for the dog to chase you move back then
take out the dog FIRST with the Knife then shoot the guy with your last shot.
It does work, me and my mate just did it.

I've done everything that you said except the final part, instead of shooting
the last German and the dog with a single shot, I waited for the dog to get
close enough so i could kill it with the knife. Then I used the last bullet (i
did not reload the Mosin) to kill the German soldier. It was a bit easier and I
got the trophy.

First off great guide. I did find a little bit different way (that I though
was easier) to complete this trophy. when you load your rifle go to the back of
the fountain all the way around the right side where you can see the two
soldiers by the burning car. This will allow an easy chance to kill both with
one shot, then move back to the front and take the two at the stairs with one
shot, and then the ones in the middle of the scene with one shot. This will
allow two bullets for the dog and the last German. I appreciate everything you
did on putting up the guide and if you so happen to give me credit for this
just call me JWM.

For the sivler trophy "The Professianl" theres an easier way then the one you
said. My way should make it considered easy and not hard. First you start off
doing your stuff taking out the 6 soldiers with 4 bullets. Then instead of
trying to take out the new guard and his dog with one bullet you should let
them spot you. The the dog will run at you and you can knife it then use your
last bullet on the last guy.

At the very end of Vendetta, shoot General Amsel with a pistol. You can also
shoot the car he is in with the pistol until it explodes. The pistol is located

There are 17 towers and 4 bunkers. The bunkers take a few shots to destroy
where as the towers only take one. Also, three of the towers are just water
towers, and one of these is outside of the map, where your fellow Russians are
advancing.

Q:
Hey, I read your trophy guide and it helped alot, good job with it. I currently
have all but 2 trophies in Call of Duty World at War. One being the platinum
and the second one (this is what this e-mail is about) the 'Sum of All Zeros'
trophy. I figured you might beable to help me with it because you made the
guide. The most Zeros I ever shot down was 21..and that was on Recruit
difficulty. The reason being is because its night time and because of the
clouds and smoke I cant see them to well, and also because in the level we
shoot mostly from the sea and not from the air. If it was in the air and it was
a clear day I could easily destroy well over 50 zeros, thats just with my
skills, Im sure most players could easily shoot down over 50 on that CoD level.
So basicly I emailed this to you just to ask for some help. Would you happen to
know of any tricks or ways I could shoot down 45 zeros for the trophy? Thanks
in advance if you can help.
A:
If you're having trouble locating the Zeros (it might be your TV if its SD) go
to options, in game, and turn the brightness up. Also, when you are asked to
rescue the soldiers, just ignore them and keep firing upon the Zeros, even if
its against your morals.
