Dead Space 2 Cheats

Start the game with the most powerful weapon (the foam-hand gun) and the best rig THE FIRST TIME YOU PLAY (ps3 only). Use multiman,go to Trophy Collection and unlock EVERY ACHIEVEMENTS (press triangle and choose unlock), once it's done, you'll get your foam-hand gun and a few special suits (i got 3) in the first store. In Chapter 15, the final room contains a bench/store and save point. Backtrack down the corridor. There is a room that you must open with a Power Node, it contains 2 Power Nodes, a Ruby Semiconductor and some random items. Collect them and return to the save point. Save your game and reload it. Return to the locked Node room again and the items will have returned! You can repeat this process indefinitely.

You can also do this at the Node-locked rooms in Chapter 6, Chapter 7 and Chapter 14.

Attain the following levels in multiplayer to unlock additional gear.

Go up to the machines that look like ATM's and melee attack them. Credits will pop out.

Through the online career you unlock these Necromorph Upgrades

Clear the game on any difficulty to unlock New Game+, then start a new game, select New Game+, and load the Clear Data from your previous save file. In New Game+ your inventory, credits, and upgrades from your previous save file's Clear Data are carried over. (NOTE: your inventory from your previous save will be waiting for you in a safe at the store when you start a New Game+)

After finishing the game, you get two suits that gaves you 25% more resistance to any hit and if you have an old Dead Space save file you get the original Plasma Cutter wich cost 0 credist and can be found on any store at any time.

This glitch only works if you purchase either the Martial Law pack or the Supernova pack add on. Go to any store, and go through the Shop and purchase one of the free Detonator weapons. The gun always comes with full ammo at the starting maximum (5). You can then launch all the mines, and recover them with the secondary fire. Once the gun has been depleted of ammo, you can then sell it back to the store, and re-buy another fully loaded gun for 0 credits. Doing so will continually add your stock of Detonator Mines which you can then sell back to the store for a profit.

If you've purchased the Supernova or Martial Law DLC packs, you have access to a free Detonator weapon. Go to the Store and buy the weapon for 0 credits. Fire the mines at a nearby wall, then deactivate and retrieve them. DO NOT RELOAD! Sell the mines at the store for credits and sell the free Detonator. Buy it back -- it now has full ammo again so you can repeat this indefinitely!

Start the game with save data from the original Dead Space on your console to unlock the Refurbished Plasma Cutter. It is only aesthetically different from the regular Plasma Cutter, designed more to look like the version found in the original Dead Space.

Through the online career you unlock these itmes:

Beat the game under any difficulty and you will unlock Hardcore Mode. In hardcore mode, you only get to save 3 times in the entire campaign on this difficulty and ammo/health packs are so scarce and rare. Plus if you die, you start at the last save point, not checkpoint.

Logging into your same EA account through the Dead Space iOS game will unlock the Riot Suit. It grants a weapon bonus to the Contact Beam for 10% extra damage and 25 inventory slots and 25% armor.
