This FAQ is about the game Dragonball Raging Blast
created and published by NAMCO BANDAI Games.

Game details [DBRB-2000]
This new game created by Bandai-Namco Game is
called Dragonball Raging Blast.
Many say this game is the Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi
series and many say this is a new game,
who is correct, what do you think?  I personally think this
new game is Dragonballz Budokai
Tenkaichi-alike however, not the same.  Because this game
has a similar fighting system to the
Dragonballz Budokai Tenkaichi series but the fighting system
is not the same.
The main thing which caught players¡¦ eyes are not only
because this is a game of the Dragonball
series as Bandai Namco Games is using 60 FPS (frame rate)
to develop this game which brings
a new view on the Dragonball games.  Because this game runs
a lot smoother and more dynamic
than the previous series and this 60 FPS is one of the selling
points to this game.

Ghost_Crisis ¡V Fighting System [DBRB-2001]
This is what Ghost_Crisis [GameFAQ] talked about the
fighting system:
The fighting system is somewhat of a variation on Budokai
Tenkaichi 3, with some welcome additions.
As noted, the game has a cancel system that is unique to
each character, so training is crucial to figuring
out how to effectively utilize each fighter. During combat,
a yellow streak of lightning will flash across the
screen for a split second if you used a true cancel which
guarantees you a follow up from your previous
combo, whereas a red streak will show that you did not
have the correct timing for the cancel.
Some people have quick and easy cancels such as a Rush
Attack X5 + Super Blast, and some have more
complicated ones such as Rush Attack X2, Signature
Attack, Rush X5, Ultimate.
The combo system is a lot more complex than previous
iterations of the game series, but not overwhelming.
Also, note that in the previous games, you had a Blast
Guage that was used for mainly buffers. In DB:RB,
ALL special moves (Beams, buffers, useless Ginyu Dances)
use Ki.

Basic Control [DBRB-2002]
These are basic controls, you can switch these later.
The ones labelled * cannot be switched.
D-Pad stands for direction pad, direction pad is the 4
buttons you have on the left side of your controller.
You normally use it to play games such as Street
Fighters.
L3 is the joystick button on the left, this button is
named 3rd left button.
R3 is the joystick button on the right, this button is
named 3rd right button.

Game Screen [DBRB-2021]
The fighting screen is new to fighting games, many may
not get used to this as they have changed the life
indicators from a long life bar to a circle.

It is kinda cool if you get used to it because the life
bar no long block your view on your opponent,
I have had this problem in all the fighting games because
the bar is huge and it always block my views,
however, this update made it all possible for me.
Heres something cool about the life indicator, when
you have your ki to maximum (ultimate charged)
the life indicator shows light sparks similar to lighting,
its as if this is a dangerous fighter and is now
ready to battle!

The clock is on the same spot as usual, it is in the
middle of the screen but the timer disappears
when the battle is going on, it will only show when
there are 30 seconds remaining to the battle.
I think this system is lovely.
Money and the Loading Screen [DBRB-2022]
Many people do not know why you have to collect
capsule that turns into dust during loading screens
because many do not know how to spend the money
in this game.
They¡¦re money, the more the better!  You can spend
them in ultimate customize, when you¡¦re in Customise
Deck, press the special button (Triangle for Playstation 3)
you¡¦ll be directed to the shop screen to purchase items.

Menu Description [DBRB-2003]
This game has 9 Major modes and they¡¦re:
Dragon Battle Collection ¡V This mode lets you play through
the original story of
Dragon Ball, as well as some What-If stories.
Super Battle Trial ¡V This mode lets you compete in ranked
battles with various different rules
Versus ¡V This competitive fighting mode lets you choose
characters and stages for battle
against your friend or computer offline.
Online Battle ¡V This mode allows you to compete in
battles online.
World Tournament ¡V This world lets you compete in a
tournament for up to 16 players offline.
Ultimate Customize ¡V This mode lets you customize items
and Super Attacks equipped on your characters.
Dojo ¡V This mode lets you learn various battle controls,
as well as practice to your heart¡¦s content.
Museum ¡V This mode lets you view the character
Encyclopaedia, watch replay data, and listen to
in-game music.
Options ¡V This mode lets you change various
in-game options.

Stars [DBRB-2311]
Star is one of the major factors in the Dragon Battle
Collection, they¡¦re required to unlock costumes,
secret stages, music and museum conversation.
To unlock stars, first you have to complete a mission in
any difficulty once then go back to the mission
you have just completed, a new menu will appear called
¡§Mission.  Each stage has 3 missions and each
mission gives you a star.
Other than this mission: ¡§Finish on Hard difficulty¡¨ you
do not need to complete the other missions under
the hard difficulty.  However, if you like to, no one
can stop you.
Now that you have a star, the first thing you want to
know is ¡§How do I spend this star?¡¨
First go back to the saga selection screen, then scroll
left or right and you should see a ¡§saga¡¨ says Star Shop,
click in there and you¡¦ll reach Star Shop to purchase
the items.

Finish with little damage
Finish this battle as fast as you can and try to get as
few damage as possible.
My suggest is, do a lot of combos and super attacks,
however, if you are not good with combos then use
super rising (Rise button and Descend button
(flying buttons)) to escape from your opponent,
charge your ki to max then tab DA twice (Dash key) and
you should end up behind your opponent,
press MA once to knock him around and use your
ultimate attack.

however, you have to be even more careful in
this one because signature skills have no name plate,

What you should do is, fight fast, very fast.
Keep on charging your ki when you have free space.
Use ki blasts in your combos, do not only do punches and kicks,
also ki blasts, when you have the
chance use your super or ultimate attack and kill off your
opponent quickly!

Battle on the ground for a long time
Stay on the ground, this is basically what it is asking you
to do.  When you are fighting,
try to not use any super or ultimate attacks as they
will automatically make you float.
Lure your opponent to stand near you and melee you,
and as they are close-by,
MA > MO-Down > KS to sweep them down but do not
attack them just yet, make sure they¡¦re on the ground.
As they get up, do the sweep attack
(MA > MO-Down > KS) again.  Try and not spend
more than 15 minutes in this battle.
As long as you are sure you¡¦re on the
ground most of the time in this battle,
then you¡¦re fine.

Pursuit attacks is when you do a max or snap charge,
you spam the MA button and you will perform a pursuit
attack.  So what it tells you here is, knock your opponent
into the air.
Do a max charge, hold your MA button and the MO-Up,
release the MA button and perform a charge attack,
then spam your MA button to pursuit, just in case keep
sending the opponent into the air.

Defence > MA gives you one sway.  As the opponent is
attacking you with normal melee attacks
(MA MA MA MA MA), you do a sway to evade the punches
and kicks.  There is no best way to do it as the opponent
will keep on punching you in normal / hard difficulty
(less likely in easy) and perform the sway as they punch you.
You may get low hp but then again for a star, it¡¦s worth
it as this is one of the easier tasks.

Operation Saiyan Sweep star!
Don't do it on hard mode because that will make it impossible
since Bardock is not weak meanwhile Dodoria is quite slow of
a character so play it on Easy.
So this is what you should do...
First go back a few steps, stay away from Bardock but not
too far, hold block.  You may now see Bardock running away
from you too and charges his ki, if he does that you can run
to him quickly (dash if you like) and spam your Signature.
This should hit, but if it doesn't hit quickly and hold block!
Blocked attack does not count as attack.

is to charge your ki and keep it max most of the time as
most of the actions are about signature skill, super attack
and ultimate attack.
Perfect Action window come on at the centre(center)
top of your screen, so make sure you pay attention to
what it asks you to do.  As you carried out one Perfect
Action a yellow "PERFECT ACTION!!!" will show up as
you successfully carried out a perfect mission.
Give the stage minimum 3 minutes and maximum 10 minutes

this stage can get complicated as you see there are
MANY help request topics.
What I suggest to do is go under water as soon
as the battle starts.
Namek has 3 crashes spot, 2 under water (Try and find
something looks like the Siegestor in france) and you should
be able to perform a crash attack there.  Good luck.

your ultimate attack, this should give you 11 ¡V 13
hits if done right.
Alternatively there is another method.  First you do 3 - 4
Ki blasts then MAx4 (MA MA MA MA) > MO-Up > KS > DA
This should give you an air-combo, now spam the MA
button, you should already have 10 hits but keep going
with the pursuit attack.
That should do it.
If the character's ultimate does not give you enough hits
then please try the alternative method because that should
do the trick.  Hopefully it works for you.

Deflect NUMBER(#) ki blasts
This mission is rather impossible because this is not a
mission but a challenge.  It requests you to deflect ki blasts
while they do nothing but attacking you with super
attacks or
melee attacks.  Therefore, I suggest skipping it.
However, if you really want to do this there is a method.
Stay away from your
opponent but in a range where ki blasts lands, and charge
your ki, the opponent
will want to stop you from charging so they will attack
you with 2 ki blasts maximum,
deflect these blasts.
To deflect a blast, there are three methods.
Method one, stand still and defence as the ki blasts comes.
Method two, move forward or back (do not press DA)
and then spam the
defence key, your character should now be deflecting blasts
