Walkthrough - Der Riese walkthrough - 29Solo lvls 1-2: use only pistol, make sure to let all the zombies in and always try to get them in a single file line...on the first round 5 shots to the body and one stab will get 180 points per zombie...if you line them up and shoot 5 into the first zombie you will receive 380 points by the first stab. Then put two shots into the remaining ones and stab to finish, fix one window...you will finish round one with around 1400 points and 30 shots left in your pistol. On round two put 6 to 7 shots into the zombies and keep your distance, there will be 2 quicker zombies, and they can actually down you easily....A max ammo should come your way around level 2 or 3, make sure to reload before you pick it up...if no max ammo comes pick up the gewher on the wall next to the first door you open...2 shots to the body and one stab for round two, 3 shots to the body and stab for round 3...ps number of consecutive stabs to kill increases to match which level you are on. ie ( lvl1 = 1 stab 2 = 2 stabs, etc...) lvls 3-5: if you received a max ammo on round 2 you should be somewhere near 2500 points...stay in the beggining area until you've reached 3000 points...750 for each door then 1500 for trench...if done right and you received a max ammo then you should have your trench and be able to turn on the power by round 3 or 4. DO NOT TRY FOR A RANDOM...and I mean that...a gewher and a trench is more than enough to get you to the dogs. and by then you should be able to purchase the juggernog which was to the left after you cleared the debris from the stairs....the only time you should try for a random is if you've reached round 5 and dog's don't come... lvls 5-8: After you have juggernog, randoms randoms randoms...stay in the random box area and try to build up your artillery. Monkey's are needed!!!! they are the bastard child of the pipe bomb from L4D, and they save lives...if you can help it, try to get the ppsh and the wanderwaffe...greatest combo...but the ray gun or a trench in the place of the waffle will do...I say the ppsh because it doesn't slow you down, has an amazing rate of fire, and if you're proficient with head shots, killing should be a breeze. *NEVER JUST OPEN FIRE* with the ppsh if you aren't in a jam, fire in bursts, because if you don't then soon you'll be begging for a max ammo...if you haven't gotten dogs yet but you have your juggernong and a trench, then be patient, for when the dogs do come it's teleporter time...When you get dogs it's easy peasy to just run around like you own the place, they're quick but have to stop to hit you, so when the howling begins make a mad dash for the beginning of the map. then just trace your way back through the way you went...after you get into the animal lab...the second door you opened...you are posed with a choice, which teleporter to get first...the one in the lab is closer but cost more while the one up the stairs and across the bridge cost less...*easter egg*...I suggest the bridge...This is why, in the lab there are two glowing jars with spines in them, look directly at them and press the action button (square for ps3, x for xbox) there should be an alien sound confirming there activation...after this go up the stairs and across the bridge, open the door straight ahead. In the teleporter room there is another room to you right, where there is another jar, action button on the 3rd jar and the song that you here everytime you fail will start to play...HURRAY MUSIC!!!...anyway link the teleproter and dispatch of the mangie beasts...tip for the dogs...they give you a max ammo...so if you're good with automatics waist your ammo on them, it gives you more points, oh and always try to reload before you pick up max ammo's, they don't fill your clip just your reserves...ps flame throwers are great for racking up points but get rid of it by round 8 or you may just die...also never ever get bombs unless you just killed your last zombie of the round (or really do need it,) they give you 400 points but sadly destroy any other points you could have gotten... lvls 9-15: If the random box has moved on you, make sure to get a crawler at the end of each round to try for your ppsh and your wanderwaffe...also once you have a decent machine gun get speed reload, you will need it, and bad... by this time you should have all but one teleporter open...do not open the last one from the original random box room unless you desperately need a weapon and the box moved into there. This is your chill spot. Always stand by the back corners because the vial monsters will line up all nice and pretty like for you to get tons of head shots...if you can stay in the back left corner, try to, the zombies coming from the window side will be forced to avoid the barrels and will line up with the zombies comming from the right...you still have the teleporter b to open so you'll be staying here until you have at the least 11,250 points...at which time you'll save a crawler, link the final pad and upgrade your weapons in pack a punch... lvls 15+ Start your rounds by b teleporter, and always watch your back...after about 6 kills it may be time for a monkey toss, at which time you will run to the teleporter...wait at the teleporter and blast away your undead friends as they run through the door...the second a zombie crosses into the telporter be quick with your action button and teleport...after you come out the otherside you should have time to pick up whatever power up they give you, but use your head and don't risk too much unless it's an insta kill or bomb... if you have too many zombies coming from the gewher side go and open the other door at the top of the stairs (the one you ignored in the beginning.) once you get through look left if there are too many zombies from there, open up the other door just beyond the last one...from there go to the stairs at the left of the room and mow down any zombies following you in, then open the stairs and circle back to teleporter b...unless you already killed them all then leave the stairs closed for now and use it later in a jam... TIPS...learn how to run, and make openings in crowds to slip through...Browning means you need double tap...never go the same way twice in one round...if you get cornered remember your teleporters...try to predict when you might get stuck and throw a monkey...USE MONKEY"S SPARINGLY, that is unless you see a max ammo then let'em loose...Wanderwaffe does make you more vulnerable when you are using it, try to be smart when you whip that bad boy out...Big Guns mean heavy guns, which means slow person which means zombie snack, so try to always have a gun you can be quick with... This strategy gets me to around round 23 almost everytime...And on co-op round 25-29 so just remember it's not really life or death, please just have fun... Sincerely, iTz Rubidium |
