You may have seen the duplication spell for oblivion and this glitch requires the use of that. firstly you need 2 of the same scroll in your inventory. then you need a piece of equipment that has an effect that you want on yourself at all times. ex. ebony diamond ring with with water walking effect. then you use the duplication spell on it. and you should pick up both "rings" or any other equipment there is. equip the ring. the one ring spot will turn into 2 ring spots with one of them highlighted. then go back to the scrolls and double select the scroll which you have 2 of and then go back to your equipment page and drop the one that's not highlighted. it will drop both the highlighted one and the unhighlighted one. once you exit your inventory you will see one ring drop, it's really 2 if you go up and look at it. you don't have to pick them back up. go to your active effects page and you should see "water walking" or any other effect that you attempted this with. water walking will always be in effect from that moment forward. i wouldn't suggest using this for water walking because you won't ever be able to go under water again.
