Just go to level 29 (which I almost killed him at). Keep dodge rolling his attacks and use
magic. If that doesn't work, then go to level 30 and it will be easy.

I didn't even boost that was my end game level - took him down 1st time.

i beat the game with ven at lvl 42 on crititcal mode.
i to be honest struggled extremely>.<

i beat vanitas w/ ven in critical mode at level 27~

ok i got all the end of vens story but couldn't beat unmasked vanitas when hes your d link
im lvl 36 and i still couldn't beat him how???????

i beat him the first time, but unmasked he's insanely hard. My suggestion is continuous
shotlock.

Can you not beat Van because you have a D-link
with him

I think I've figured out how to finish off the unmasked Vanitas (when you're D-linked with
him). Keep attacking until you can use his finish move, Last Word. That's how I defeated
him. (I was Lvl 35)

i beat him every time except when you have to d-link with him? im level 40 aswell and im
on the hardest mode i thought level 40 would be enough but its still really hard:(

Try to insert ur rod into his slot then turn him on with some of ur special moves.
Remember: always pre heat the oven before u stick in the turkey ;)

I can't beat him.
I get vanitus all the way down to a final hit, but how do i beat him? Like it has the
joystick thing you have to spin and i do it, but i still fail. Eh i sound like a loser,
lol. Any ways he is kind of hard and i'm going to lvl up ^^

Beat him at lv 23 on critical mode 1st time. Just use reversal, block and dodge roll.

I feel like such a dork!! I have been trying to find a way to beat him the second time
before trying because i think its going to be extremly hard!! And everyone that is saying
its so easy when youre a really high level is making me feel like i ***!!

Im level 30 and i can get vanitas down to 1 hp then i fail the best way is to keep elixers
and megaelixers in your command and use them when nessary but when you are equipped with
vanitas moves use shotlock so u dont lose health and once that runs out charge!!!

I can get past the first two parts easily, but when vanitas is unmasked in that dark,
space-looking dimension on one spot of hp, i don't know what the heck i'm supposed to do.
O. O everyone keeps saying you need to "d-link" with him, but i don't know how. Do you
just fight until you randomly see that finish command?

Youre already d linked with him. You have his commands in your deck. All you do is
shotlock or keep using the commands until you can use the finish move, last word, which
kills him
