u have to used art chi, by press (x) it will throw ur sword and hit the bird then used those elements to attack. after the bird fall down and start killin it from there.

Water chi is best

First, it will fly around and swoop down on u trying to do some damage. Dodge these. Then
it will attack u wit bomb lyk tings. after this it will stay in front of you hovering . at
this point, press X and u will trow ur sord at him/hr. a split second after that, use
either wood or, (if it is developed), water chi arts. thien it will fall to the ground. at
this point use genbu chi arts and repeat this until it dys.

Make sure you hit the bird before using the chi art...then once the bird is in the ground,
hit them with your combo atack.
