Easy Way To Defeat The Yian Garuga Now, The other two guys did put down some usful info. But I'm gonna tell you some things they did'nt. ----------------------- 1: As soon as you start the quest, go straight to area 7. 2: Go behind the tree and search for all the "SPECIAL MUSHROOMS" until you have them all. (You do not need to trade with the old man at all) 3: Once you have all the mushrooms, Just wait there. Just stand there until time runs out. And once time is up, It will say that you've won. ---------------- But, There is a catch. The next time you do this quest, you have to fight the Garuga. ---------------- Just go to Sc. 7, get all the mushrooms, then go find the Garuga. (once you get the mushrooms, it will have only 1/3 of it's life) Now, I dont know how you prefer to kill it, But I bring along a PIT FALL TRAP, a FLASH BOMB, and a couple of LRG. and SMLL BARREL BOMBS. F.Y.I: You need to do each of these right after the other. (After you wait it out, you gotta fight it, then wait there, then fight it, ext.) P.S: I highly recomend this quest to get money. Easy to Kill Yian Kut Ku Here is the easiest way to Kill the Blue Yian Kut ku Get two Large bomb barrel+, stones, then get a pit fall trap, Felvine plant, get a iron sword and up grade it to And iron katana "Grace",and make sure you have plenty of potions.When you start the Quest slay the Great Kut Ku get the items out of the box and go straight to area 9. The Kut Ku should be there fasing the opposite direction set the pit fall trap and then get its attention by throwing stones at it. When it spots you get him to fall in the trap. when it in the trap set both bombs by it and then run away so you get a good distance from the bombs. Then throw a rock to set off the bombs. This weakens it a lot. From then on attack it from the side hitting the neck,wings and tail for those are the soft spot. Make sure you are doing the Draw slash methoid or it will be harder to kill. Beat Blue Yian Kut Ku TO beat the Yian Kut Ku you need to get the following items before you start the quest Slay The Great Kut Ku : stones x5, large Barrel bomb+ x2, Potions Mega if you can get them x10, Pitfall trap, felvine x10, and an iron great sword up graded to an Iron katana "grace". When you start the quest grab the items and head straight to area nine. When you get there run all the way to the end past the cats(felvine is so that the cats dont steel your items) and you will see the Kut ku. Don't attack it set the pit fall trap then get its attention with a rock. When it sees you lure it in to the trap and set both large barrel bomb's next to him. Try to get some distance and throw a rock at the barrels to set them both off. This will weeken him alot so all you have to do is attack him with your great sword. Attack it from the side hitting its soft spots(wings, head, tail)Repeatedly until dead. if he gets away head to area 4. if he gets away from there gor to area 6.
