Do you believe in "Ghosts"? Well I didn't mean those scary ghosts in the movies, but I'm referring to "Ghosts" in this game, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. Want to see them? Then prepare yourself >.<
1. Equip yourself with the weapon "Hammer". No requirements for armors.
2. Find a quest to slay Kelbi or Anteka, or any quest that consists of Kelbi or Anteka in it.
3. After you face the Kelbi or Anteka, run then press Triangle to do an unsheated attack.
4. It should kill the monster instantly, with the "stars" above its head. Now carve the monster.
5. The monster will suddenly stand up, and run away. And after that, they'll disappear...
Note: You can also use weapons other than Hammer. Anything else that can "Knock Out" a monster to trigger the glitch.
Notes: -These "Unlockable" quests I was referring to is the quest that must be unlocked by clearing certain quests or reached the required condotion and does NOT required to be cleared to unlock the urgent quest.
-The numbers of the quest I put in the left column are the number that will appear when you unlocked all of the quests for the relevant rank.
-A "Wyvern" is defined as any large monsters with the exceptions of Bulldrome, Aoashira, Urukususu, Rangurotora, Jhen Mohran, Alatreon, and Amatsumagatsuchi.
-The quest to slay Akantor, Ukanlos, and Alatreon will not appear even if you had cleared the required quests. They wil only be available after defeating Amatsumagatsuchi along with the quests requirements. Also note that quest (35/39) is not required for this.
-Epic Hunt Quest" or "Extended Quest" are the same (depends on your translation patch), these quests is where you hunt more than 2 monster in one quest and the carves will be different. (Ex: Carving a dead Tigrex in an "Extended quest" will give you Mega Potion)
-Clear all High Rank quests means you have to clear quests from HR4-HR6
HR6 Guild Hall, (4/39) Hunt Gold Rathian
Kill a total of 100 Wyverns
HR6 Guild Hall, (5/39) Hunt Silver Rathalos
Kill a total of 100 Wyverns
HR6 Guild Hall, (6/39) Hunt Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos
Unlocked by clearing the quests above.
HR6 Guild Hall, (35/39) Hunt Black Diablos, Ice Agnaktor, Black Tigrex, Jinouga,
Note: Drink quests are NOT the same as the Hotspring quests. Drink quests consist of 20 quests in total and improves the effects of the drinks, while Hotspring quests only consist of 7 quests in total and improves the hotspring. Also, clearing both Drink and Hotspring quests will give you the award "Bandai-san's Fan", which will be applied in your guild card.
- "WARNING" quests: The quests that has "?" mark in it, kill the extra boss to complete the "WARNING" quest.
- "Epic Hunt" quests : The quests that consists more than 1 monster in it and your carves will be different. (Ex: You'll get Mega Potions if you kill and carve a Tigrex in an "Epic Hunt" quest)
In the gathering hall, you can see a cat within the hotspring. The cat will give you drinks with boosting effects that will improve your hunting capabilities. However, you'll have to complete Bandai-san's drink quests first in order to get all the best effects from the drinks!
In this guide, I'll tell you what to do to unlock all the drink quests:

Did you know that after you play together with your friends, after a certain point, you'll get strange stuffs like "Veggie Elder ticket"s?
Well, if you think the item is not useful, you're wrong! You can trade these items for a cool item! Even rare items!
The more you play with your friends and accumulate Friendship Level, the tickets get better and you can trade a really rare item!
But, trade it to who? As a good example, try going to the flooded forest. Still in the camp, look back, and you'll see a little guy. Talk to him, trade the tickets, and you'll get something in return (What you get depends on the ticket you have)
However, you can find this "hermit guy" somewhere else too, if you can find them, the items you'll get (with the same tickets) will be different, depending on the location, so be careful!
Without further ado, here it is!
We all know that dungbombs (in the previous games) aren't that useful. But now, we can use dungbombs to get rid a monster out of an area. Especially with the skill "Dungmaster", you can make a monster go to other areas in an instant! But... how is that useful? Well, it is if you're battling 2 monsters in the same area. However, please beware that Dungbombs won't work if you're using it against monsters that are held in one area only. Some good examples are : Alatreon, Ukanlos, Akantor, Amatsumagatsuchi, and Jhen Mohran. If you battle monsters in the "Arena", Dungbombs won't work too.
