Damn that rat, he beats me every time too. I can't get past this bit so I've kind of
given up on the game. Please can anyone help ??? I hate it when this happens.

I finally did beat the rat in the first race (Linguini's Apartment), but I encountered him
again in the sewers for another race and there is no way I can beat him. I have also given
up on the game, frustrated and upset that I can't beat him and I can't find a cheat to
help.

I beat the rat in the first race by using the down button (putting him on all fours) and
he runs much faster in those areas when you can do that. Keep trying and get him to run on
all fours where possible. The first race can be done, but I am open to anyone who has any
clues to win the second race.
