Walkthrough - WHOLE RATCHET AND CLANK GAME part 2
Page 1 Lacerator
---------
Available Since: The Beginning
A weapon that is very easy to use, the Lacerator fires super-heated plasma
slugs, not totally unlike a laser beam. Blow up enemies with this weapon, one
by one until all of them have been wiped out. Not the most powerful weapon ever
made, but the accuracy is acceptable, and the rate of fire is too.
Acid Bomb Glove
---------------
Available Since: The Beginning
This glove shoots acid bombs. Once a bomb has hit the ground, the acid sticks
onto grass, gravel or anything it might land on. If someone touches the acid,
they'll be burned. Badly. The Acid Bomb Glove isn't very quick, but is great
at damaging several enemies at once. If you're surrounded by enemies, don't
think twice before using this.
Concussion Gun
--------------
Available Since: The Beginning
The concussion fires a shotgun-like blast of titanium pellets. The weapons
deals more damage to enemies that are nearby. Just like a real shotgun, hitting
enemies that are standing far away is not worth trying. The concussion gun is
also good at taking down several enemies at once.
Agents of Doom
--------------
Available Since: Ryllus
Small robots that will attack nearby enemies once launched. There are several
robots in each 'bullet', and all of them will run together and start damaging
the nearest opponent. If you want to do lots of damage to something, launch
some agents of doom first, then use another weapon to fire at the same time
as the agents attack their target.
Scorcher
--------
Available Since: Kalidon
Made of old space ship engines, the scorcher is a pretty decent flamethrower.
When it comes to damaging enemies far away, this is a useless weapons, but for
those that are go into close combat with you, this is pure hellfire. A nice
thing about the Scorcher is that it fires a constant flame, instead of just one
short blast like bullet based weapons do.
Suck Cannon
-----------
Available Since: Dreamtime
This weapon sucks up enemies and crates, and throws them out again as
projectiles. Not the most boring weapon around. Use it when you're out of
ammunition for the other weapons in your arsenal.
Bee Mine Glove
--------------
Available Since: Medical Outpost Omega
The Bee Mines look like grenades, but are really bee hives. Almost like a
deployable turret, the hives can be left on the ground. Anyone that gets near
them (enemies that is) will be attacked by the angry bees.
Sniper Mine
-----------
Available Since: Challax
The latest in long distance target neutralization. This is a crossbow, that
does more damage when its projectiles hit enemies far away from you, than
it does damage to nearby enemies. Not a very fast weapon, but great at long
distance.
Shock Rocket
------------
Available Since: Dayni Moon
Designed to clear out packs of enemies with electrical flair. The shock rocket
is a rocket launcher that also deals lots of damage to single, armored enemies.
The accuracy is great, and the rate of fire is nice for a rocket launcher.
Mootator
--------
Available Since: Dayni Moon
A very unique sidearm, the Mootator turns enemies into cows. Cows are nice
creatures that won't attack you. Who doesn't want cow friends? I bet you
want some of them, as I'm sure I do. You need to win all the Clank Challenges
on Dayni Moon in order to get this weapon.
Static Barrier
--------------
Available Since: Inside Clank
The Static Barrier generates a physical force field around Ratchet, acting as a
shield that blocks missiles, bullets and other incoming fire. You can not buy
more ammo for this weapon using the PDA.
Laser Tracer
------------
Available since: Quodrona
The Laser Tracer is a laser cannon that can be carried by one single person, or
one single Lombax in Ratchet's case. You have to stand still while shooting
with this extremely powerful weapon.
RYNO
-----
Available since: Challenge Mode
The RYNO is a weapon that uses multiple fast-launch swarmer missiles to damage
your enemies. Without a doubt, the most powerful weapon in the game. Think of
it as one of the craziest rocket launchers ever made.

Weapon Modifications [WildMod]
=============================================================================
Lock On Mod
-----------
Cost: 5000 Bolts
Available Since: Kalidon
This is the first mod of the game. With the lock on mod, your aim will lock
onto nearby enemies while you are strafing. This makes it much easier to hit
enemies, as you've might experienced missing a lot earlier.
Wide Barrel Mod
---------------
Cost: 15,000 Bolts
Available since: Kalidon
A little more expensive, but much cooler than the lock on mod. As you might
have guessed already, this modificated your Concussion Gun, and increases the
width of the weapon's blast. In other words, you can defeat more enemies at
once, when you have bought this upgrade.
Charge Up Mod
-------------
Cost: 50,000 Bolts
Available since: Challax
This is another modification for the Concussion Gun. Once you've bought this
one, you can hold the circle button to charge several shells inside the
concussion gun, and unleash them all at once by letting go of the button.
Double Barrel Mod
-----------------
Cost: 30,000 Bolts
Available since: Challax
Mounts an additional barrel onto your Lacerator. This way, you will do double
the damage, and get double the fun! One of the best modifications in the game.
Acid Burn Mod
-------------
Cost: 30,000 Bolts
Available since: Challax
If you haven't been using the Acid Bomb Glove weapons much, you will after
getting this upgrade! The acid inside the bombs is changed to burning acid,
which makes anyone that touches it start burning. Your enemies will keep on
burning even after getting out of the acid.
Epoxy Mod
---------
Cost: 50,000 Bolts
Available since: Challax
Another modification for your Acid Bomb Glove. When enemies walk into your
acid, they will go all dizzy, and slow down their movement. Now they'll be
50% slower than usual.
Worker Mod
----------
Cost: 5000 Bolts
Available since: Challax
The bees from the Bee Mine Glove weapons will now be able to collect bolts,
ammo and health orbs. In addition, they'll be circling outside of their hives
a little longer than before, until they finally disappear.
Split Beam Mod
--------------
Cost: 25,000 Bolts
Available since: Quodrona
A modification for the Sniper Mine, the split beam makes your mines able to hit
enemies standing behind, or close to your original target.
After Shock Mod
---------------
Cost: 25,000 Bolts
Available since: Quodrona
With this modification, your projectiles being shot out of the Shock Rocket
weapon will do more damage than earlier, because of some electrics being added
to each and every projectile.
Spitfire Mod
------------
Cost: 15,000 Bolts
Available since: Quodrona
When the scorcher stops firing, a huge plasma fireball will be unleashed. Using
the scorcher for a long time before holding your fire means a big plasma
fireball, while using it for a short time only means a smaller one.
Launcher Mod
------------
Cost: 20,000 Bolts
Available since: Quodrona
With this mod, your agents of doom will take rockets with them when you unleash
them. Needless to say, they'll do much more damage than earlier.
Hive Bomb Mod
-------------
Cost: 300,000 Bolts
Available since: Challenge Mode
The hive that is thrown with the Bee Mine Glove weapon will explode once all
the bees have done what they can to damage nearby enemies.
Reflection Mod
--------------
Cost: 250,000 Bolts
Available since: Challenge Mode
Your Static Barrier shield will reflect laser-based attacks. If someone tries
to shoot you with a laser-based weapon, they will, in other words, be sorry.
Sunflare Mod
------------
Cost: 200,000 Bolts
Available since: Challenge Mode
A really hot modification, the sunflare mod will make the flame coming from
your
Scorcher get bigger and bigger while you're using it.
Bounce Mod
------------
Cost: 600,000 Bolts
Available since: Challenge Mode
The enemies that are sucked into your Suck Cannon, will bounce off any surface
they might hit when shot out again of the cannon, inflicting extra damage to
anyone they might hit.
Mirage Mod
----------
1250,000 Bolts
Available since: Challenge Mode
Recreating after-images of Ratchet, this modification leaves behind several
holographic Ratchet decoys, confusing your enemies.
Pierce Mod
----------
1250,000 Bolts
Available since: Challenge Mode
Concentrating the power of the weapon a lot, the pierce mod makes the Laser
Tracer able to fire through enemies, so that you can hit things, even if they
are standing behind someone.
Ricochet Mod
------------
500,000 Bolts
Available since: Challenge Mode
Another modification for the Laser Tracer, this mod makes the laser beams you
fire ricochet off surfaces, crating absolute chaos in small rooms and areas.
=============================================================================
Gadgets [WildGad]
=============================================================================
Gadgets are not completely different from weapons, but are usually not used
to take down enemies. Instead, the gadgets let you do things like shrinking,
passing gaps and growing mimic plants. Just like with weapons, you can check
your gadgets in a section under the Start menu.
Hypershot
---------
Available Since: The Beginning
The hypershot fires an energy cable that can be connected to swing targets,
also called nodes. Once connected, you can use the cable as a rope, and swing
to the other side of gaps. If you've ever seen or heard of Tarzan, you know
how this little gadget works.
Sprout-O-Matic
--------------
Available Since: Ryllus
A professor in Vetega Jungle gives this to Ratchet. This gadget shoots water
that can be used to stimulate mimic plants. Once you've sprinkled some water
onto a plant, it will start following you. Sprinkle on the plant again when
it stands ontop of some soil, in order to use the plant's ability. The plants
all have different abilities, which is pretty exciting.
Shrink Ray
----------
Available Since: Winning the 'Learner's Permit' Skyboard Race at Kalidon
Ratchet can use this to shrink himself, and enter electromagnetic locks. Once
inside, he can unlock them with his wrench and boots. A very important gadget
that you will need to use pretty often.
Bolt Grabber
------------
Available Since: Medical Outpost Omega
The bolt grabber increases the power of Ratchet's magnetosphere by almost 50w,
doubling the range at which he can pick up bolts. In other words, you can grab
bolts that are twice as far away from you as earlier.
Box Grabber
-----------
Available Since: Medical Outpost Omega
The boxbreaker automatically breaks all nearby crates when you perform a Hyper
Strike with your wrench. Just jump and swing your wrench to perform the strike.
Polarizer
---------
Available Since: Winning the first skyboard race at Medical Outpost Omega
This is a weird device that has to ability to change a magnet from push to
pull or back again. Just target the magnet and use the polarizer.
PDA
---
Available Since: Challax
The PDA is basically a portable vending machine, that you can use to order
ammunition, on the go. Think of it as a shop in your pocket.
Map-O-Matic
-----------
Available Since: Dayni Moon
Once you've bought this gadget, you will be able to view all the areas of the
planet you are on, by simply checking the maps screen. All secret areas will
also be displayed on the map, unlike earlier.
=============================================================================
Titanium Bolts [WildTib]
=============================================================================
The Titanium Bolts are used to unlock skins for Ratchet and Clank. You
can unlock the skins in the main menu under 'special' once you've got
enough Titanium Bolts. The skins look nice, but have no effect on gameplay.
Note that there are 20 Titanium Bolts in the game, while only 16 of them
can be spent. The remaining 4 aren't used for anything else than
completing your collection.
Titanium Bolt 1
---------------
Where: Pokitaru
After Luna has been kidnapped by robots, you will have to walk up
your first magnetic wall. On the top, defeat some robots. There is a yellow
circle up here, and left of this circle, you can do a Long Jump to reach a
platform hanging on the mountainside. On this platform, you will find the bolt.
Titanium Bolt 2
---------------
Where: Pokitaru
After stepping on the moving platform that takes you out to sea, you will find
a circle formed island with lots of blue crabs on. On the second island from
here, there are two houses. Behind the one on your left side, there is a bolt.
Titanium Bolt 3
---------------
Where: Ryllus
At the beginning, go behind Ratchet's spaceship. Drop down to a stone platform,
which is where this bolt has been hidden. Make sure to look down using 1st
person view first, so that you don't miss the platform.
Titanium Bolt 4
---------------
Where: Ryllus
After launching into the temple and getting the Wildfire Helmet, just look
behind you. Kinda tricky place to hide a bolt, but very easy to get, once you
know where it is.
Titanium Bolt 5
---------------
Where: Kalidon
At the beginning, drop down on your right side, close to your spaceship.
Follow the ledge to find a crater, where the bolt can be found.
Titanium Bolt 6
---------------
Where: Kalidon
Before entering the factory, you can find this bolt just left of its
entrance, behind a small corner.
Titanium Bolt 7
---------------
Where: Kalidon
Inside the factory there is a mad looking room with a magnetic path for you to
walk on. From the entrance of this room, walk LEFT - RIGHT - LEFT - RIGHT -
LEFT - LEFT to find this bolt. You can enter first person mode to have a look
around,in case you get lost on your way.
Titanium Bolt 8
---------------
Where: Dreamtime
When you are walking on the giant hat, there are three parasols that you can
jump on nearby. Stand on the first one, use the hypershot while being in 1st
person mode, then grapple onto the node straight above you. You will swing onto
the top of the hat, where the bolt can be found. Do this quickly, as the
parasol will start falling after a little while.
Titanium Bolt 9
---------------
Where: Dreamtime
Just before entering the building with the first mirror, you can find a bolt
on your left side - left of the building, in other words.
Titanium Bolt 10
----------------
Where: Dreamtime
Behind the first black portal in the Dreamtime level, there is a Titanium Bolt
floating in the air. Access 1st person view and shoot at it using your
Lacerator. You will teleport to a place where you will have to be quick and
jump over to the bolt before the ground blow up. If you fail, you will have to
load an older savegame and try again.
Titanium Bolt 11
----------------
Where: Medical Outpost Omega
After the countdown timer has started, you will get to a room where you need to
wall jump to the very top of a ledge. Up here, turn around to find the bolt.
This is the room just before you find your spaceship.
Titanium Bolt 12
----------------
Where: Metalis
After getting the Polarizer gadget, go back to Metalis. Close to your
spaceship, there is a gate that has been locked by a magnet. Target it with the
polarizer and 'shoot' with it to open the gate. Behind it, fight some enemies,
pass some smashing devices and swing to the other side of some gaps, and you
will find a Titanium Bolt at the very end of the path.
Titanium Bolt 13
----------------
Where: Challax
Near your spaceship, drop down left. Continue walking until you see a small
path. This is where you find the bolt.
Titanium Bolt 14
----------------
Where: Challax
At the beginning of the level, after you've arrived at Technomite City, there
is a room with lots of chairs in. The left part of this room is where you will
find a conveyor belt. Just wait a little, and a bolt will appear on this belt.
Titanium Bolt 15
----------------
Where: Challax
In the area with the huge statue, climb up the ladder that the first mimic
plant transforms into, then plant another one at the top. This plant on the top
transform into a bomb flower. Punch a bomb so that it hits the wall behind you
to find the titanium bolt.
Titanium Bolt 16
----------------
Where: Dayni Moon
At the beginning of the level, you will have to walk past some sheep to arrive
outside of a building. Bring the two mimic plants here to the other side of
the building, and let the dark blue one grow in the spot of soil that is
located closest to the building, while the light blue plant takes the other
spot. Now you can jump up onto the flowers and get the bolt at the roof of
the building.
Titanium Bolt 17
----------------
Where: Dayni Moon
After hovering a long distance through the air, you will find a silo building.
Open the silo by unlocking the lock, and bring a light blue mimic plant
inside. Let it grow, then jump on it to find a bolt, close to the ceiling.
Titanium Bolt 18
----------------
Where: Inside Clank
After sliding down using the wire at the very beginning, turn around and walk
over to the ladder leading back up to where you cam from. At the other side of
this ladder there is a bolt.
Titanium Bolt 19
----------------
Where: Inside Clank
Just after getting Titanium Bolt 18, walk into the gray corridor just ahead. In
here, you will see that the wall goes from gray color into black. This is where
you will have to wall jump from side to side until you reach the top, where you
will find a Titanium Bolt.
Titanium Bolt 20
----------------
Where: Quodrona
Take a look above the crates in the lower left corner of the room where all the
clones are hiding inside boxes.
==============================================================================
Skins [WildSis]
==============================================================================
There are four unlockable skins in Size Matters. Three are all unlocked by
collecting the Titanium Bolts that have been hidden throughout the game.
The last one is unlocked by playing Size Matters online, and win ten matches
without dying once. Access the main menu, then press 'special' to have a look
at the skins.
~ Tropical Vacation Skin - Costs 4 Titanium Bolts.

=============================================================================
Clank Challenges [WildCla]
=============================================================================
On some planets, you can examine a special kind of monitor to access a battle
arena, where Clank can play some challenge games. When Clank wins a challenge
he earns a reward, that is usually a number of bolts, but sometimes armor
parts as well. The bolt reward listed below is the one you'll earn the first
time you win the challenge. Later, the amount of bolts is lowered

newly created hole, then blow up one level lower than the first bot.
This time, you need to blow it up before it reaches the arrow-pad as
well. The remaining three bots can now swing over the gap, fall into

is much faster. There are also normal enemy vehicles. Concentrate on
taking them out first, and never forget to pick up the health orb that

+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Clank Challenge - The Uber Finals
+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Strategy/Hints
+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

In this challenge, there's two goals and two Gadgebots. Ignore the
opponents, and concentrate on scoring using one of these bots. Never
stop moving, and don't bother stopping your opponents if the other bot
is free for you to pick up. Score, go back to the gadgebot, pick it up,
and repeat.

Challenge: Lead four Gadgebots to the house at the end of the course.

+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Strategy/Hints
+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Swing the first bot over a gap, let him walk down to the first arrow-
pad, then electrify it when it reaches the teleporter. After passing
the second arrow-pad, blow the bot up to make a hole in the floor. Now,
let the remaining bots to the same, but let them fall into the hole
that you made. This way they'll reach the house at the end of the
course without any problems.
