 It took me awhile to be able to buy anything from Saibara too, and yes giving him good clay and shipping it is very important in the process, but theres events that lead to the actully activity of the shop being open.... ::Note these are Magic..

 You get a level 3 house, by going to the workshop, talk to Woody, to see what level are avaible for you to buy, it will say how much money it requires and wood, price varies on style of house, once you know how much money you need and wood, save ..

 Well the stars affect HMMFOMT and HMAWL, by what products are avablie to sell in both games and also new events happen and "gossip"...and once you have your first succesful link connection between both games, Van will appear in HMMFOMT ..
